Ennu Ninte Moideen and Pathemari, two best films released in Mollywood this year is running here getting great appreciation from the common people as well as from the critics. Ennu Ninte Moideen along with critical appreciation also getting dream success at box office as well and it had collected more than 20 crore rupees from box office already. Pathemari began slowly but now as per reports getting a decent run at box office as the mouth publicity doing good for the film and hoping that with each day it will get more and more good business. But the great news for both the films is that both Ennu Ninte Moideen and Pathemari got selected to show in the International Film Festival of Kerala 2015, which occurs at Trivandrum every year.
IFFK was one of the most popular and biggest film festival in India and the worldwide participation level it gets is mazing as well. To be selected in such a prestigious film festival is itself an honor and both these film deserves it and at last gets it. Ennu Ninte Moideen is the directorial debut of RS Vimal and he got this fortune with his first film itself. What better situation can he ask for as a beginner..? First film got great critical response as well as dream box office success. Now an honour of being selected in the IFFK. This Prithviraj and Parvathy menon starrer had really went sky high.
Pathemari was directed by Salim Ahammad which is his 3rd film. He had already won a national award with his debut film years ago. It was Adaminte Makan Abu which also helped Salim Kumar to win the national award for best actor as well. This film Pathemari is telling the life story of NRI’s and Mammootty’s great acting as the central character is the plus point of this film.
IFFK has started in the year 1996 and there is a special section for Malayalam films in this and to that section to which these two films got selected. Last year the best Malayalam film award was given to the film Oralpokkam by Sanal Kumar Sasidharan.
