Fahadh Faasil lent his voice for Che Guevara in CIA
Dulquer Salmaan’s CIA is getting good response from the audience eventhough the critic reviews are mostly mixed. This Amal Neerad directorial is about Aji Mathew, an young comrade who travels to the US without VISA in pursuit of his love.
The movie’s initial half has an interesting sequence where an inebriated Aji Mathew is seen talking with revolutionary communist leaders Che Guevara, Vladimir Lenin and Karl Marx. Aji opens up about his romance with Sarah and the need for him to go to the US.
Amal Neerad has done a fantastic job with the casting for all the three leaders. Che Guevara’s role is played by Sumit Naval, who has earlier worked with the director in Big B and Sagar Alias Jacky Reloaded. The voice for Che’s character in the movie is lent by than none other Fahadh Faasil.
Fahadh and Amal Neerad have previously worked together in Iyobinte Pusthakam. In 2013, Anwar Rasheed directed the segment Aami in 5 Sundharikal, an anthology of five movies. Fahadh played the central character and Amal Neerad was the DOP in Aami.
Incidentally, Amal Neerad is also cranking the camera for Fahadh’s upcoming big budget movie with Anwar Rasheed. The duo share a great camaraderie with each other and that’s why the director could rope in Fahadh to lend his powerful voice for Che Guevara’s character in CIA.
