Parvathy is currently basking in the phenomenal success of her latest outing Take Off, directed by Mahesh Narayanan. Over the past few years, the actress has undergone a marvellous transformation both look wise and acting wise, that it is even hard to believe that Parvathy played the school going Pooja in Notebook or the naive girl in Vinodhayathra.
She is currently one of the leading actresses in Mollywood. Her fantastic performances in movies like Banglore Days, Ennu Ninte Moideen and Charlie has won her a lot of appreciation and accolades. Latest to the list is Take Off, in which she played the lead role of Sameera.
In a movie featuring three leading stars like Kunchacko Boban, Fahadh Faasil and Asif Ali, Parvathy played the protagonist. The actress is garnering widespread appreciation for her performance as Sameera, a nurse who goes through all sorts of emotional turmoil both in her personal and professional life.
Parvathy is elated with the success of Take Off. In a recent interview she was asked whether she believed that Take Off will become such a big success. The actress said, “I always strive to give my best while doing any movie. I was sure Take Off will be a good movie. I consider it as a big fortune that Take Off became successful without any negative reviews.”
Parvathy is currently shooting for her Bollywood debut with one of the most versatile actors in Indian cinema, Irrfan Khan. The movie is directed by Tanuja Chandra of Dil Toh Pagal Hai fame. This yet to be titled film is said to to be a romantic comedy, where the protagonists fall in love with each other, during a road trip.
