Mammootty and Vysakh team up for a new film titled New York
A surprise announcement has just been made by director Vysakh regarding his next film. He is set to team up with Mammootty for a family-oriented action thriller. ‘Ira’ fame Naveen John is scripting the film that has been titled as ‘New York’. This time the whole movie is going to be shot in USA.
Titled as ‘New York’, the movie will be bankrolled by UGM Productions, one of the leading production companies in Malayalam, and scripted by Ira fame Naveen John.

‘New York’ is Vysakh’s third film with Mammootty. The director made his debut in 2010 with the megastar starrer ‘Pokkiri Raja’. Nine years after the release of his maiden film, he made its second part, ‘Madhura Raja’ with Mammootty. Both the films were huge commercial hits. Naturally, expectations will be high when the hit combo reunite.
