Nivin Pauly-Asif Ali starrer Mahaveeryar wrapped up
We had earlier reported about Nivin Pauly and Asif Ali playing the lead roles in a new film titled ‘Mahaveeryar’. Abrid Shine is directing the film, which had gone on floors last month in Rajasthan. The team has now successfully wrapped up the entire shoot.
Sahitya Akademi Award winning writer M Mukundan has penned the film’s story while the screenplay is written by Abrid Shine. The makers have not still not revealed any details about the genre or storyline. It will be interesting to see Asif Ali and Nivin share screen space after almost a decade. They had last worked together in ‘Sevens’ and ‘Traffic’. The film also stars Lal, Siddique and Shanvi Srivastava.
‘Mahaveeryar’ is Nivin Pauly’s third film with director Abrid Shine. Both their previous films, ‘1983’ and ‘Action Hero Biju’ were commercially successful. The duo will be trying to repeat the success once again. Nivin’s Pauly Jr Pictures is jointly producing ‘Mahaveeryar’ along with Indian Movie Makers.
