The Telugu version of the Malayalam blockbuster Premam is all set to begin soon. As per the reports from the Tollywood the film will begin very soon. The male lead in the Telugu version of the film will be played by Young actor Naga Chaitanya who is the son of Nagarjuna. Naga Chaitanya was very impressed with the film Premam when he first saw it at the time of its release and he had praised Nivin Pauly as well. That time itself he told that he really wants to play the lead in the film if it will be remade in Telugu language.
The makers had approached Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra to play one of the key roles in this film and she seemed to have loved the storyline of the movie very much. Even though she is not signed the film yet sources says that it will be only a matter of time before she signs the film. They also say that Parineeti will reprise the character Malar from the Malayalam version of the film which was played by Sai Pallavi here. Another actress which was confirmed for this film is Disha Patani who is now popular among Malayalis through the Dairy milk advertisement in which she acted along with actor Jayaram’s son Kalidas Jayaram. The advertisement was a big success and that gave her the popularity she has now among the viewers.
The Telugu version of the film will be directed by Chandoo Mondeti and it will be financed by S Radha Krishna under the popular production house Haarika and Hassine creations. There is also a report that Anupama Parameshwaran who played Mary in the Malayalam version of the film may play a key role in the Telugu version as well. But that is not a confirmed news and just a rumour and nothing has been finalized on it.
Premam is the second highest grosser in Mollywood history and as per reports it will be remade to Tamil as well. Suriya or Dhanush may play the lead role in the Tamil version according to the reports as both the actors have shown interest to do the film.
