Vijay’s Puli started the money hunt even before the release

Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay starrer flick Puli is all set to hit the screens on this coming September 17th and it will start screening from the auspicious eve of Vinayaka Chathurthi. The film is directed by Chimbu Devan is said to be a socio-fantasy film which uses a fair amount of special effects as well. It is reported that the flick will have more CGI works done it than the works done in Baahubali. The audio of the film had launched two days back and it has been getting awesome response from the audience as well. The teaser of the film also got great reception when it released weeks back. Now the anticipation is on sky high as the film is in its final stage of post production works.

But the latest update from the Kollywood says that Puli has already started making money even before its release through distribution rights from various areas of release. The telugu rights of the film is said to be sold for a record price and it is said that the SVR media bagged its rights for a sum of 8 crore rupees. It was them who distributed Vijay’s earlier blockbuster named Thuppakki as well. They believes that this one will be a bigger success than Thuppakki as the expectation had reached the sky level height.

The film also making money from overseas rights and distribution rights from various places like Karnataka, Kerala and north India. It will be dubbed in Hindi, Kannada, Telugu etc and that had increased the chance of making a wider business for the film just like the flick Baahubali had did worldwide.

The flick is been planning to release in 3500 screens all over India and this will be the biggest release of Vijay’s career. This 3500 screen will be in India alone and the worldwide market is also open for the film to do great business. The screens in India will be distributed as 1000 screens in Tamilnadu, Telengana and Andhra Pradhesh, 1000 screens in North India and other 500 screens in Kerala and Karnataka. This screens will increase and will reach up to 3500 screens.
