Recently, eminent personalities from the Indian film industry had attended the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. Actors Shah Rukh Khan, Tabu, Vijay Sethupathi, Arjun Kapoor and directors Sriram Raghavan, Rima Das and Thyagarajan Kumararaja were some of the attendees. Vijay Sethupathi bagged the prestigious Best Actor award for his stupendous performance in ‘Super Deluxe’ while Tabu was chosen as the Best Actress for ‘Andhadhun’.
‘Andhadun’ won Sriram Raghavan the Best Director award and Zoya Akthar’s ‘Gully Boy’ won the award for Best Fillm. Rima Das’ ‘Bulbul Can Sing’ was chosen as the Best Indie Film. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan was also felicitated with the Excellence in Cinema award.

During the customary press meet at IFFM, Shah Rukh Khan was all praise for Tamil star Vijay Sethupathi and he even went on to call the ‘Vikram Vedha’ star as the most wonderful actor he has seen in my entire life. The actor competed with the likes of Ayushman Khuranna, Ranveer Singh, Manoj Bajpai, Amitabh Bachchan, Vicky Kaushal and Namdev Gaurav to win the Best Actor award at IFFM.
