Celebrity Badminton League 2016 Stills Photos

The first season of Celebrity Badminton League has been started at Kochi today. Megastar Mammootty arrived at the launch and played a small match with Kerala Captain Jayaram announcing the start of the tournament. The first match of the season was played between Karnataka Alps and Chennai Rockers. Arya led Chennai rockers and Diganth led Karnataka Alps. Karnataka Alps won the first game. Then we saw a match between Kerala Royals led by Jayaram and Tollywood Thunders led by Sudheer Babu. Kerala won the dual this time.

There are Men’s doubles, Mixed doubles and women’s doubles categories in the tournament. Karnataka won the first men’s doubles with Chennai. In first women’s doubles also Karnataka won over Chennai. Kerala won the men’s doubles against Tollywood Thunders and for Kerala, actors Kunchacko Boban and Baiju played the men’s doubles.

But in mixed doubles Kerala lost to Tollywood Thunders. After calculating the points, Kerala Royals and Karnataka Alps entered the finals of first Celebrity Badminton league.

Ranjit Karunakaran is the team owner of Kerala Royals and Mamta Mohandas is the brand Ambassador of this team. Jayaram is the captain and Narein is the Vice-Captain of the team. The Male Players in the team are Baiju, Sreenath Bhasi, Arjun Nandakumar, Saiju Kurup, Sekhar Menon, Rajeev Pillai, Rony David and the female players are Ranjini Haridas, Parvathi Nambiar and Rosin Jolly.

Thoppil Joppan second teaser had released yesterday and got great reception. As per the latest report that is coming in, the second teaser of Thoppil Joppan had set a new record in Mollywood related to the teasers of Malayalam movies. It has surpassed the record set by Kasaba teaser which released few months back in 24 hour view count in YouTube.

Kasaba had an updated view of 372K in 24 hour and estimated view of 510K in 24 hour time. Thoppil Joppan second teaser had 450K updated views and 650K estimated view in 24 hour time as per the reports giving by the official page of the movie in Facebook. Now, Thoppil Joppan teaser had become the highest viewed Malayalam movie teaser in 24 hour time.

Few days back, the first teaser of Thoppil Joppan had released. Even though the first teaser failed to surpass Kasaba and Pulimurugan teaser view record in 24 hour time, it had become the fastest Malayalam movie teaser to cross the 1 Million view mark surpassing Kasaba teaser. It had got 1.1 Million views in 80+ hours whereas Kasaba teaser reached that mark in 99 hours.

Now there is a chance for the second teaser of Thoppil Joppan to rewrite the record set by its first teaser few days back. The trailer record in 24 hour YouTube views belong to Pulimurugan and fastest 1 Million reaching trailer record belongs to Kali as well.

Mammootty starrer movie named Thoppil Joppan is on its way to hit the screens here in Kerala on the 7th of October. The two teasers of the film had released and got great appreciation from all over. The teaser had made many records in YouTube. Report says that there will be a trailer too for the movie and it will release next week.

Johny Antony had directed this movie based on the screenplay by Nishad Koya. The audio launch of the movie has been taken place few days back and during the audio launch ceremony, Mammootty said that Thoppil Joppan is a complete family movie which you can watch with your family members.

Mammootty said that it will have all elements to entertain the audience. According to him, there is no need for misunderstanding after reading the title and tagline of the movie. There will not be any scene in this movie which can irritate family audience.

Johny Antony said that it is a fun film and the focus will on comedy just like his past movies. This is his 4th film with Mammootty in the lead and the first one was a super hit named Thuruppu Gulan.

Vidyasagar had tuned the songs for this film and Mammootty said that all the songs in the movie had come good as well.

Kerala Box Office : Oppam Collection Report 15 Days

The 15 day collection report of the Mohanlal starrer Oppam had officially arrived and as per the latest report, Oppam had collected 23.70 crore in its 15 days run here in Kerala. The total share earned by the film in 15 days is 10.80 crore.

The flick has been made using a budget of 6.80 crore including print and publicity and it had already got 4 crore profit from theaters alone and that too in just 15 day time. This is phenomenal to say the least.

Oppam is now having an average collection of close to 90 lakhs per day and on holidays it is getting more than 1 crore. The flick is showing steady performance in working days as well. From Ernakulam multiplexes, the film had got 1.23 crore from its 15 days run and as per latest reports the shows of the film has been increased from today at many centers.

The film had stepped on to its 3rd week and there is no show reduction at anywhere and in fact at many paces, they had increased the show as well. In Trivandrum Ariesplex, Kollam Carnival, Thalayolapparambu Carnival, Koothattu Kualm V cinemas etc as well number of shows has been increased.

This Priyadarshan movie had become the biggest blockbuster in 2016 and it is going great in rest of India market too. From Chennai alone it had grossed above 36 lakhs from just 10 days.
