He had become popular all over Kerala through his famous ‘Girirajan Kozhi’ character in the blockbuster hit Premam directed by Alphonse Puthren. Later he acted in movies like Pavada, Happy wedding etc and his character from the movie Happy Wedding had played key role in making that movie a big success.

Now in Pretham too, he is getting tremendous applause from the audience and his witty one liners are receiving by the audience with both their hands. Sharafudheen is very happy with this acceptance he is getting from film loves here and now the opportunity of a life time had come to his door. He is now sharing screen space with Mollywood Super Star Mohanlal.

Sharafudheen says that he is a great fan of Mohanlal and it is like a dream come true for him to share screen space with this legend. Jibu Jacob is the director of this movie and the film is now in its last schedule of filming at Calicut.

He said that it is the films of Mohanlal and Mammootty, which made him to love movies and inspired him to be an actor. So, when he got a call from Jibu Jacob movie, he did not even asked about his character in the movie. He just wanted to share screen space with his favorite actor Mohanlal, says Sharafudeen.

Now, some details about that movie has been revealed by actor Aju Varghese, who had posted a selfie with Sasi Kalinga on his Facebook page with the details of Sasi Kalinga’s upcoming Hollywood movie.

Aju Varghese said that Sasi Kalinga is acting in a Hollywood movie which was produced by Oscar Winning, world famous director Steven Spielberg and he is sharing screen space with Hollywood super star Tom Cruise in this movie as well. It is a proud moment for each and every Malayali that a Mollywood actor had become a part of the movie from Steven Spielberg.

Some reports came earlier that Sasi Kalinga is playing the character of Judas in that movie and he had received a remuneration of 15 crore rupees for playing that character in this upcoming movie. If it is true, then it will be the biggest remuneration ever received by a Malayalam Actor in the history of Mollywood Cinema.

The Hollywood movie team had approached Sasi Kalinga after seeing him at a Mall in Dubai while he was in Dubai for the shoot of the Kamal directorial Kavya Madhavan movie named Gaddama, which released few years back.

One of the much awaited debut is all set to happen here in Mollywood and it will be the hero debut of Kalidas Jayaram, Son of evergreen actor Jayaram, in Mollywood. Kalidas Jayaram had announced through his Facebook post that he will be making his debut as male lead in Malayalam through movie directed by none other than hit maker Abrid Shine.

Abrid Shine had given us two super successful movies with Nivin Pauly earlier, titled 1983 and Action Hero Biju and now all set to give us a campus movies with Kalidas Jayaram in the lead. Kalidas Jayaram said that they will start filming the movie from next week and the title and other details about the movie will be released very soon.

Kalidas Jayaram had already made his debut as a child actor here in Mollywood years before. He had acted in two Malayalam movies as child artist in Malayalam. One is Sathyan Anthikad directorial movie named Kochu Kochu Santhoshangal and another is Sibi Malayil directorial movie Ente Veedu Appoontem. In both these movies, he played the son character of the character played by Jayaram, his real life father. Kalidas had won national recognition for best child actor as well for his performance in Ente Veedu Appoontem.

He had already made his debut in Tamil as hero through the movie named Oru Pakka Kathai, which will release soon. He had completed another Tamil movie as well. Apart from that, the Dairy Milk Silk commercial had made him popular all over India.

IFAR international to distribute Vijay 60 in Kerala

Vijay 60 directed by Bharathan is now one of the most anticipated films from Kollywood, starring Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay and Mollywood actress Keerthy Suresh. The team behind the movie had completed 70% of the filming and they are planning to release the movie all over in the coming Pongal season. It will be in January 2017.

In Kerala, Vijay enjoys great fan base and his films always fared well here. Because of that, Vijay films always gets great distribution rights from here. This time too his film had got record distribution rights as IFAR international had bought the rights to distribute the movie here. Reports says that they had bought the rights of the movie for an amount of 6 crore and it is the best when it comes to Vijay films released till now in Kerala.

The previous best among Vijay films was Theri, which had got 5.6 crores from Friday Film House and Carnival Motion Pictures who jointly distributed the movie here. Now, Vijay 60 is the 3rd biggest when it comes to the distribution rights acquired by other language movies here in Kerala.

Baahubali 2 had said to be got an amount of 10.5 crore from Global United Media as distribution right and Rajinikanth starrer Kabali had got 7.5 crore from Mohanlal’s Aashirvad Cinemas this year.

Young Super Star in Mollywood, Prithviraj Sukumaran is going great guns in terms of his selection of movies and he is getting offers from different South Indian languages and now from Bollywood as well. Now, a rumor is doing its round in film industry that after Aiyya and Aurangazeb, Prithviraj will be doing a Bollywood movie next year and that will be the prequel of the super hit Neeraj Pandey film named Baby which released last year. Akshay Kumar played the lead in Baby and it was one of the best spy movies made in Indian Cinema.

In Baby, we have Akshay Kumar, Rana Daggubati, Tapsee Pannu, Danny etc in the lead. In its sequel Akshay Kumar will do a cameo. The prequel of Baby will be titled as Meera and Tapsee Pannu will be there in the movie playing the female lead. She played the character named Priya Sooryavamshi in Baby and in its prequel, the plot will tell us her story and how she meets Akshay Kumar’s character.

Neeraj Pandey will not be directing it and he is only producing the movie as per reports. Neeraj Pandey’s next release will be Dhoni and after that he will start the work for his Akshay Kumar starrer movie named Crack, which will release on the 15th August, 2017.

Remo, the upcoming Tamil romantic comedy from 24 AM studio is all set to grace the silver screens in the time of Pooja Holidays. 7th October is the date which they announced for its release and the post-production of the film is in full swing as per reports. The posters of the movie is already viral along with the making video of the movie.

The Sirikkadhey promotional song video of the movie also got fabulous reception and as per latest reports coming in, the audio launch function of the movie will be on the 5th September. On that day itself, the English version of the Sirikkadhey song video will be released. It was titled as Come Closer and Anirudh Ravichander and Innogenga will feature in that video. Anirudh, Keerthy Suresh and Sivakarthikeyan had featured in the Tamil version of the video. Anirudh Ravichander had tuned the songs and background music for this film.

Debutant Bhagyaraj Kannan had written and directed this flick and his next venture as well be produced 24 AM Studio. Producer RD Raja had already given him the advance for his next venture after seeing the preview of the movie Remo. Keerthy Suresh is playing the female lead in this movie and the DOP of this flick is PC Sreeram.

Anyway, great anticipation level is there for the movie and every one hopes that the movie is going to be a great success.

100 Days Of Love Telugu dubbed version to hit the screens today

100 Days Of Love was the Malayalam film directed by Jenuse Muhammad, the son of veteran director Kamal last year with Young Super Star Dulquer Salmaan, Shekhar Menon and Nithya Menon in the lead. But the film was bombed at Kerala box office due to bad marketing and publicity. The blockbuster success got by Nivin Pauly’s Oru Vadakkan Selfie also lead to the failure of 100 days of love.

But now the Telugu version of the film is coming out. The Telugu dubbed version of the movie will hit the screens today. The pair of Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menon is the main attraction of the movie. The Telugu dubbed versions of this pair’s earlier movies like Ustad Hotel (Jathaga) and OK Kanmani (OK Bangaram) had got great reception in Andhra and Telengana.

Young Mollywood star Nivin Pauly is busy with his Tamil movie off late and his next Malayalam release may only come next year as per some reports. He is now busy with his Tamil movie directed by Gautham Ramachandran and after finishing it, he will join the second schedule of his Malayalam movie directed by Sidharth Siva. Later he will start his work for Althaf directorial Malayalam movie.

He will have two more Tamil films and one will be directed by Prabhu Radhakrishnan and another will be by Surya B, which will be produced by Atlee. Now a report coming in that Nivin Pauly will play the lead in the movie directed by Roshan Andrews, based on the life of Kayamkulam Kochunni, who is considered as the King of Thieves or a Master thief in Kerala History. Bobby-Sanjay duo had written the screenplay of this movie, which will start rolling from next year.

Roshan Andrews said that the main location of this movie will be Sri Lanka and the film will have an estimated budget around 12 crore rupees. Roshen Andrews also said that after this project, he and Bobby-Sanjay team will do another film with Nivin Pauly as well, which will be a big budget project.

This movie Kayankulam Kochunni will be produced by Sree Gokulam Movies.

The movie Remo will release on the 7th of October this year as a part of Pooja Celebration Holidays. This is the first venture of this production banner named 24 AM studio and they had already made to the top of news headlines in South Indian film industry with their great promotional tactics. The open market system they introduced in distribution of the movie and also the steps taken to stop piracy got great appreciation from all over.

The Sirikkadhey promo song video of the movie Remo has been released few days back and got great reception from the viewers. Anirudh Ravichander, Sivakarthikeyan, Keerthy Suresh etc featured in the promo video, which was directed by Prabhu Radhakrishnan. Anirudh Ravichander is the one who tuned the songs for the movie Remo.

Now, the team had announced that the English version of the promo song Sirikkadhey will release on the 5th of September along with the audio launch of the movie. “Come Closer” will be the title of the English version of the song which will feature Anirudh Ravichander and Innogenga.
