Jayaram film Aadupuliyattam moving on to 50 days run here in Kerala

After a long wait, at last the goddess of success blessed popular actor Jayaram with a genuine hit and his latest film Aadu Puliyattam had got a decent box office run. The film is now moving towards 50 days run at screens here in Kerala and the producers had already planned an event to celebrate the 50th day of the film.

The film is produced by Noushad Alathur and Haseeb Haneef under the banner named Grande Film Corporation. Aadu Puliyattam is directed by Kannan Thamarakkulam whose first film was Thinkal Muthal Velli Vare with Jayaram in the lead. Dinesh Pallathu had wrote the screenplay of this horror thriller based on a 600 year old ancient myth.

The flick had raked in amount near 7.5 crore from its run till now here and it is the best collection, a Jayaram had got in recent years. South Indian popular actress Remya Krishnan played a powerful character in this film along with Jayaram and Bollywood actor Om Puri also has done a key role in it.

Artists like Sheelu Abraham, Sambathu, Baby Akshara Kishore, Ramesh Pisharody, Saju Navodaya, Sreekumar, Siddique etc also done a very good job in this film. Ratheesh Vega tuned the score and songs for this film and Jithu Damodar cranked the camera.

Screenplay made Mammootty excited and his next project will be with a debutant

Mammootty is currently working in the film named Thoppil Joppan directed by Johny Antony and as per reports, he will finish it by the last week of this month. Later he will join the last schedule of his Tamil film directed by Ram, titled as Peranbu in which Anjali plays the female lead.

There were many reports came about his next Malayalam project but now it seems that his next one will be with a debutant named Haneef Adeni and the film will be produced by none other than Prithviraj under his production banner named August Cinemas. Earlier they had planned to start the film in September month this year. But when Mammootty heard the full screenplay, he got pretty much excited and told them to start the filming as soon as possible.

So, it will be this untitled Haneef Adeni film that Mammootty do as his next Malayalam venture. Earlier reports came that this movie was titled as My Dad David. But the team behind the film had said that they had not fixed any title for this movie as of now. The director says that this film will be a family drama and a thriller at the same time. Mammootty will have a very stylish appearance in this flick and the outlook of his character will be very modern as well. The movie will start rolling in July and the major locations of this flick will be Thrissur, Wagamon and Kochi.

Currently the pre-production works are going on in rapid pace to begin the filming in July. They are not decided who and who will play the other characters in this movie and the casting process also going on. Anyway, it seems that Mammootty had found something very exciting in this upcoming movie and that may be the reason for this sudden change that came in his schedules.

RS Vimal had become one of the most popular film makers here in Mollywood with just one film and that film is a classic one indeed. RS Vimal had made his debut here last year with the film named Ennu Ninte Moideen with Prithviraj and Parvathy Menon in the lead. The film told the real life love story of Late Moideen and Kanchanamala and the flick went on to become one of the biggest ever successes in Mollywood box office. RS Vimal had written the screenplay of that film.

Now he is gearing up for another epic project and it will be the biggest film ever made in Mollywood. He is making the film Karnnan based on Mahabharatha and once again Prithviraj will play the title character. He is now busy with its pre-production works as they are planning to make it in 5 languages. Meanwhile RS Vimal had met Mohanlal yesterday and he said that Mohanlal is indeed a living wonder. RS Vimal says that a journalist asked him once how he make movies without learning Cinema. RS Vimal says the answer is simple. He says one can learn the magic called cinema just by watching Mohanlal on screen. There is no better text book about cinema you can get other than this wonder called Mohanlal, says RS Vimal. RS Vimal had shared a photo with Mohanlal in his Facebook Page last day.

He said that he met Mohanlal for the first time in his life and spend a quality time discussing with him about his next film Karnnan. Mohanlal wished all the very best for RS Vimal’s Karnnan and RS Vimal says thanks to the legend for his great words of appreciation and wishes. Mohanlal is now in Trivandrum as he wrapped up his work in Priyadarshan directorial film Oppam there. Mohanlal also met Chief Minister of the State, Mr. Pinarayi Vijayan as well by visiting Cliff House with B Unnikrishnan, his friend and film director.

RS Vimal will start the filming of Karnnan in next year and it will be produced by Venu Kunnappilly. Leading technicians from India and from outside the country will work for this movie.

Lab report came from Hyderabad: Death of Kalabhavan Mani may not be a natural one

Late actor Kalabhavan Mani is still in the news headlines as the problems and suspicion related to his death is not yet over. From the time of his death, there is suspicion that his death might not be a natural one. His brother RLV Ramakrishnan had openly come out and said that his brother was not dead of liver diseases but his death is a clear cut homicide.

He also alleges that people like Tharikida Sabu aka Sabumon Abdusamad, Jaffer Idukki along with Kalabhavan Mani’s personal staff is behind all these as they were the ones who present there at Paddy with Mani before he was taken to hospital due to degenerated health condition. Now, the report from Central Lab of Hyderabad had also came and it also suggests that Mani’s death may not be a natural one.

Earlier the lab report from Kakkanadu said that there was the presence of pesticides in Kalabhavan Mani’s body. They also said that it may have come from the vegetables he ate before his death. But, the report from Hyderabad completely discarded that findings and they found out the presence of Methanol in Kalabhavan Man’s internal organs. They said that Methanol was present in his body and that too about more than 45 Milligram.

This amount of Methanol can enter a man’s body through the use of toxic liquor. They said that his death might be happened due to the use of toxic or fake liquor and the chances of a sudden death due to liver disease is too low.

Police is continuing the investigation and reports says that they are all set to handover the case to CBI. The
verbal spat between RLV Ramakrishnan and Sabumon Abdusamad is continuing through Social Media and everyone hopes that it will end soon as the investigation team finds out who is right and who is wrong.

He have had a great beginning here with his films and people began to call him Mallu Arjun seeing his popularity here, specially, among youngsters. But, later his films bombed here one after another and he almost lost his base in Kerala. But, his latest film Sarrainodu which released here with the title Yodhavu had made a decent business compared to his previous films and the actor is very happy that, again people from Kerala began to appreciate his movies.

In a recent media interview, he had opened up his mind about Malayalam cinema. Allu Arjun made one thing clear that even though there are many talented young actors here, his all-time Favorite in Mollywood is none other than the complete actor Mohanlal. Allu Arjun said that he hope to work with his Hero Mohanlal very soon and in fact it is a dream for him to have a chance to share screen space with Mohanlal.

Allu Arjun indicated that there are chances that he will do a Malayalam film in the coming year or so. But nothing is finalized as of now. Allu Arjun wants to do a romantic film in Malayalam. He said that he also ready to do realistic films which challenges him as an actor, if those films are commercially appealing as well for the larger section of the audience.

Allu Arjun said that he saw recently, Malayalam films like Charlie, Premam, Bangalore Days etc and loved it all. Fahadh Fazil is the best actor among the younger generation in Mollywood and Nivin Pauly is mesmerizing in Premam as well, says Allu Arjun. He also said he love to watch Dulquer Salmaan and he loved his performance in OK Kanmani more than in Charlie.

Allu Arjun says that there is no dream roles for him, but he wants to do more and more interesting characters that can make the audience get entertained. He also thanked the Malayalees for loving him so much.

It seems that popular Mollywood actor Jayaram is back to his winning track after a few years. His latest release named Aadu Puliyattam directed by Kannan Thamarakkulam and scripted by Dinesh Pallathu had showed a decent box office response and moving toward a genuine success for Jayaram. As per the reports that coming from various sources, the film had earned 7.1 crore in its 21 days run here in Kerala.

7.1 crore from 21 days may not be a great figure for a star like Jayaram who is very popular here in Kerala. But, considering his form in last few years, it is indeed a very good figure.

This film is a horror thriller which was based on an ancient myth. The performances of the lead artists is the key to its success. Jayaram had done a great job as male lead named Sathyajith. Artists like Om Puri, Remya Krishnan, Sheelu Abraham, Saju Navodaya, Ramesh Pisharody, Sreekumar, Sambath etc also did a fine job. But the show stealer was Baby Akshara Kishor who had done a fantabulous job in this film as Aami. The child artist who played the character Malli also did a superb job in it along with Baby Akshara Kishor.

Jithu Damodar’s DOP and Ratheesh Vega’s music really elevated the film to another level when we consider the technical perfection. Aadu Puliyattam is produced by Noushad Alathur and Haseeb Haneed under the banner of Grande Film Corporation.

Mohanlal starrer Puli Murugan is undoubtedly the most anticipated and most hyped movie of this year in Mollywood, directed by hit maker Vysakh and written by Udaya Krishna. Tomichan Mulakupadam had produced this film under his own production and distribution banner named Mulakupadam films and it is said to be the biggest budget film in Mohanlal’s Mollywood career. The movie started filming last year and it took a lot of time to complete the filming because of the nature of its plot.

The team behind the film had to take a lot effort to complete the film as they had to shoot it in dense forest areas and also they had to film a real tiger in this film. As per reports, the team behind the film had tried to release the film on July 7 this year. But, due to the delay in its graphics work, they had to postpone the release. Now, a report is coming in that the Film will hit the screens on August 15th, the Independence Day.

Even though it is not an official report, there are chances that the film may hit the screens on that day. It will have a worldwide release and will be released in 7 languages as per reports. So, the dubbing works and subtitle works also have to be completed. Peter Hein had set the stunt sequences in this movie and Shaji had cranked the camera. Music was tuned by Gopi Sundar and artists like Jagapathi Babu, Lal, Kishore, Kamalini Mukharjee, Suraj Venjarammoodu, Bala etc also playing important characters in this movie.

The teaser of the film had released on May 21 and it had created YouTube record. It will cross 10 Lakh views very soon and become the first Mollywood movie teaser to cross 10 Lakh views in YouTube.

Wtzupcity.com had organized a Fitness & Wellness Party on June 11th , the world wellness day, sponsored by Renault powered by Le Méridien Kochi in association with Lakeshore as Hospital Partner, Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala as Wellness Partner. Gold’s Gym Kochi, The Floor, FWD Life and Red FM etc were other partners of the event. This is one of the first and biggest event of this kind in our state and was a CSR initiative honouring the responsibility of imparting wellness to the larger public. The event was indeed a great success and the invited guests learnt about ways to better their wellness and sweated it out with Calisthenics, Yoga and Zumba sessions.

The event had started with Medical checkups and then followed by the inaugural speech by Mahesh Kumar, Business Head of Renault. The first session was by Dr. Praveen G Pai, Specialist, Department of Palliative Care and Public Health whose topic was Wellness and Fitness. The second session was a talk by Dr.TMU Varier, Sr.Physcian Kottakal Arya Vaidya Sala who talked about Wellness and Ayurveda. An interactive Question and Answer session,Fun with Fitness Games, talk on personal training etc was there as well. The event concluded with the Healthy Super Foods presented by JP Singh, Chef of Le Meridian who presented the spread especially prepared for this event followed feedback by guests, photo sessions and distributing freebies.

Once again the name Mohanlal trends in social media and this time through a Facebook post from child artist Baby Meenakshi aka Meenakshi Anoop who had acted with him in his upcoming film Oppam directed by Priyadarshan. Baby Meenakshi shot to fame through the character named Paathu, which she played in the last year blockbuster movie Amar Akbar Anthony starred by Prithviraj, Indrajith and Jayasurya. She is now playing a prominent character in Mohanlal starrer Oppam and Meenakshi said that she had a great time with Super Star Mohanlal.

Last day she posted a selfie of her with Mohanlal, taken by the complete actor himself, on her Facebook page. She said that this is the greatest gift she received in her life till now. Many people had congratulated her and many people asked her about her experience with Mohanlal through Facebook comments. To one such query, she replied about an experience she had with Mohanlal and that reply is going viral in social media now.

Meenakshi said that while they were shooting at Ootty for Oppam, many people came there to meet Mohanlal and took photographs with him. One day some people came to meet him on the sets when Mohanlal was preparing to leave from the set because of heavy rain. The people working in the set told the ones who came there to meet Mohanlal that, it’s raining and there will not be any chance to meet Mohanlal that day and take photographs with him.

But Mohanlal heard what they said and he came out from his car and instructed the people who were working in the set that, don’t talk like that to people who came all the way from distant places to meet him. Then he met those people who came there for him and took photographs with them as well. Many of them had tears in their eyes seeing the humbleness of this legend and Meenakshi also says how great Mohanlal is, as human being and as an actor.

Meenkashi says that Mohanlal is like her best friend now and she loves him a lot. She said that just like his diehard fans, she too become a diehard fan of Mohanlal and now he has a special place in her heart.
