Enthiran 2 aka 2.0 is not the sequel of Enthiran

Shankar directorial magnum opus Enthiran 2 has now finished 50% of its shoot and the director himself revealed its progress through his Facebook page. He had said that the shoot of climax fight is over and the film is shaping up really well. Now, Rasool Pookkuuty, the Oscar award winner and the sound designer of this film said in a recent press conference that Enthiran 2 is not at all a sequel of Enthiran, which released years back. Everybody thought that Enthiran 2 is the second part of Enthiran directed by Shankar few years back.

Kollywood Super Star Rajinikanth playing the hero in this movie just like he played the hero in Enthiran. But the heroine of Rajinikanth is this movie will be Amy Jackson. Aishwarya Rai played the female lead in Enthiran. But the highlight of Enthiran 2 will be the presence of Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, who is playing the Antagonist in this movie.

Reportedly Akshay kumar is getting a remuneration around 40 crore for this film which is higher than Hero Rajinikanth’s remuneration. The team had tried to get Hollywood stars like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Hugh Jackman etc and also tried for stars like Kamal Haasan, Vikram, Hrithik Roshen, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan etc as well to play the villain in this movie.

Enthiran 2 will be the biggest budget film ever made in India and its budget is said to be around 400 crores. The film is making in 3D and will hit the screens all over the world in next year April as per reports. AR Rahman had tuned the songs for this movie and Nirav Shah is the DOP of the flick. Anthony and T Muthu Raj handling the editing and art direction respectively as well.

Lens, a small budget film directed by debutant Jayaprakash Radhakrishnan is releasing tomorrow in Kerala and it will be distributed by none other than Lal Jose. His LJ films decided to take up the responsibility of distributing this small film from a young team as Lal Jose loved the movie after watching a special screening arranged for him.

They were in search of a distributor to release the film and because of the absence of stars in the movie, they were not getting one. So, Lal Jose stepped in and took up the responsibility. He said that he was really excited after watching the movie and applauded the effort right after the show is over. That much was the quality of this film, says Lal Jose.

He also said that Lens is not just a thriller but also a film that deals with a socially relevant subject. He said that children must see this film and it will also a must watch for youngsters as it deals with the traps waiting for them in Internet. Sound Mixer Raja Krishnan had called him and told him about this movie. Raja Krishnan is the reason behind he watched this film as well. It was such a great experience and it was at that time he decided that such movies have to be reached before the audience. He said that he took up this responsibility not considering any financial profit but to support good cinema.

People like Vineeth Sreenivasan, Vetri Maran also appreciated this movie and it will reach 25 selected screens in Kerala tomorrow.

Ozhivu Divasathe Kali, which had won the Kerala State Film Award for the best film of last year is all set to grace the screens here in Kerala from tomorrow. Sanal Kumar Sasidharan had directed this movie based on the story written by popular writer Unni R. The film also won many recognitions in various International Film festivals as well.

It won great appreciation from many celebrities all over the state and many people had amazed with its making style which broke the conventional style of film making. The film is distributing by none other than popular film maker Ashiq Abu and Mollywood stars like Megastar Mammootty, Dulquer Salmaan, Nivin Pauly and Fahad Fazil had come out supporting the movie through their official Facebook Page.

Mammootty had shared the official trailer of the film through his Faacebook page. Dulquer Salmaan also shared the trailer saying that it is an amazing film and a must watch film for all. He also appreciated the effort taken by the whole cast and crew of this movie. Young Stars like Nivin Pauly and Fahad Fazil also shared the official trailer of Ozhivu Divasathe Kali through their Facebook page.

Earlier the team behind the film was all set to release the film by themselves as they were not getting any distributors. Many distributors labelled it as an award movie and also they not showed any interest to distribute it as there are no popular stars in it. Then came Aashiq Abu to distribute the film as he wants to support good cinema.

Lekha Namboothiri wanted to see him as she donated her Kidney after got inspired from a character named Mike played by him in the movie named Loudspeaker.

After seeing our report, Mammootty contacted her and offered his help for her treatment. Few days back, a surgery is been conducted on her and Mammootty had given 1 lakh rupees to her through Pathanjali Ayurvedic Hospital. But, now an allegation had come against her from Shafi who had received Kidney from her. Shafi alleged that Lekha Namboothiri had received 8 lakh rupees from him to donate her kidney. But Lekha Namboothiri and her husband Sajan had slammed the allegation saying that it is not at all right. She had donated her Kidney freely to him and it is very sad that the person who came back to life after receiving her Kidney saying wrong things like this against her.

Years back, this man named Shafi had come out against Lekha Namboothiri saying that after receiving Kidney from Hindu women, he had to face many difficulties and issues from his community. He used some bad comments about Lekha as well and insulted her in that issue.

Now, Lekha is recovering from the surgery conducted few days back and she is taking rest. She had undergone surgery at Calicut MIMS Hospital and Dr. Suresh had lead the surgery.

Last year Malayalam blockbuster named Charlie starred by Dulquer Salmaan and Parvathy Menon is all set to be remade in Tamil and popular South Indian and Bollywood actor Madhavan to replace Dulquer Salmaan in the Tamil version. The team behind the Tamil version of the film trying to rope in Parvathy Menon to play the female lead in the Tamil version also.

Popular director Vijay, who shot to fame through Madrassipattanam will direct the Tamil version of Charlie. In Malayalam, the film was directed by Martin Prakatt and he also was the co-writer of this film with noted writer Unni R. Martin Prakkatt was one of the producers of the film as well along with Joju George and Shebin Bucker. They produced and distributed the film under the banner of Finding Cinemas in Mollywood.

Pramodh Films will produce the Tamil remake of Charlie and as per reports they will begin the filming in this coming November. Director Vijay is currently busy with his project named Devi (L) with Tamannah and Prabhu Deva. He will have a Jayam Ravi project as well after this.

Charlie had won 8 recognitions at the Kerala State Film awards and Dulquar Salman had won his first Best Actor state award as well. Parvathy also won Best Actress award for her performance in this film and Ennu Ninte Moideen. The flick has done a total business around 40 crore worldwide.

Ram Gopal Varma said that when we compare the talent of both Rajni Kanth and Amitabh Bachchan and if we decides to give marks for them, then Rajinikanth will only get one mark out of hundred and Amitabh Bachchan will easily bag full marks.

But now-a-days Bachchan had stepped out of stardom and began to show his versatility as an actor.

RGV says that if Bachchan did Enthiran, he may have made it far better than Rajinikanth. But if Rajinikanth does films like Piku, Te3n, Black etc, he will make it a joke. RGV also said that Kabali will be better if Amitabh Bachchan does that role. According to RGV, Rajinikanth will understood what he really meant, as both Rajinikanth and he loves Big B. Udta Punjab censor copy leaked !

Udta Punjab, the film directed by Abhishek Chaubey and produced by Anuraga Kashyap is in the news headlines for some weeks now. The ban on the film by Censor Board of Film Certification had created a lot of trouble. Many people had come out against this act by Censor Board and even Bombay High Court had slammed the Censor Board. Later the censor board agreed to certify the film and they had given Adults Only Certificate for the film with suggestions to cut 13 parts from the movie.

Earlier they suggested 89 cuts and a title change. Now, the flick is again in the news for all bad reasons and this time the report coming in that the censor copy of the film has been leaked and now available on internet. As per reports, high definition print of the film had leaked through online sources and already many people had downloaded it.

The team behind the film had already filed complaint in Cyber Crime Cell Mumbai and all fingers are now pointed towards the Central Board of Film Certification. The film is made using 60 crore rupees and many popular film personalities had come out slamming CBFC. Many people believes that CBFC is behind the leaking out of the censor copy of Udta Punjab as they don’t have a good relationship with the team behind the film.

Sources also says that the pirated print had leaked from one of the CD’s that was given to CBFC. People believes that this is a part of Censor Board’s conspiracy against the film. The film will hit screens Tomorrow after all these issue.
