She had acted with almost all the super stars in Mollywood like Mohanlal, Mammootty, Suresh Gopi, Jayaram etc .

Lakshmi Gopalaswamy is still unmarried and when asked about this she said that she is waiting for a good hearted man who can understand her and her love for art. Along with that she revealed that she really longed to marry someone like Mohanlal or Suresh Gopi, as she believes they are the role models for a perfect life partner for any woman.

She said that when she worked with them, she realized that how great they are as human beings and their respect for women is awesome. Both of them are so caring towards others and know how to respect their fellow beings. Whenever she had spend time with them while working together, she feels that she also want somebody like Mohanlal or Suresh Gopi as her life partner.

She also said that even though many proposals are coming for her, they are not reaching to the stage of a marriage due to some silly reasons. She reveals that she have a desire to marry someone from the film industry itself who knows about the life of an artist.

Pulimurugan budget : Producer reveals the truth in the light of the reports coming in social media

Mohanlal starrer Pulimurugan is now in its post-production stage and 5 more days shoot of this film is still remaining as per reports. The film will be releasing in worldwide screens in 7 languages as well. Because of that, the post-production works will take its time to complete. Even though 80% of the tiger sequences in the film is shot using a real tiger, there will be 20% of computer graphics too. So, they are planning to give the best treatment possible for those sequences. That is why the film has been postponed from July 7, the date on which the team had earlier planned to release the flick.

Apart from that there are lot of rumors going on in social media platforms regarding the budget of this film. Tomichan Mulakupadam, the producer himself telling the truth about its budget as there are a lot of fake reports doing its round in social media.

Tomichan Mulakupadam says that the reports that are coming in social media is not at all true. Some reports saying that the budget of this film is 30 crore and they are hailing this film as the biggest budget film ever made in Malayalam. Tomichan Mulakupadam told to media that even though he cannot reveal the actual budget of the film, the so called reports are fake and the budget is no way near 25 crore as of now. He said he can’t say the actual figure because the shooting of the film is not yet over and the post-production works are there as well. But what is coming in social media is not true, says Tomichan.

Vysakh is directing this movie and Udaya Krishna had written his first independent screenplay for this movie. Peter Hein was the stunt master of this action-adventure film which will be a realistic take on Human and animal emotions.

Kasaba, with this Nithin Renji Panicker movie which is all set to release on this coming July as Eid release, Mammootty aiming at breaking some records hold by Superstar Mohanlal and Young super star Dulquer Salmaan. Currently Mohanlal and Dulquer Salmaan holds the opening day collection records here in Mollywood.

Only four movies in Malayalam had entered the 2 crore club on its opening day itself and those 4 movies came from Mohanlal and Dulquer Salmaan. Both of them have 2 movies each in that club and with each releases they are trying to better that records as well. Dulquer Salmaan’s Kali is at the top position now, which got around 2.33 crores on its first day from Kerala. His film Charlie reportedly at the second position with 2.18 crores on its opening day.

Before Charlie and Kali released, Mohanlal films had the records with it. His film Loham had got 2.14 crores from first day and Mohanlal is the one who opened this 2 crore club in Mollywood with his film Casanovva in 2012, which had got near 2.06 crores. There is another interesting fact that, no Mohanlal film had released after Dulquer’s Charlie and Kali got released and rewritten the record. So, his upcoming film Pulimurugan expected to create a new record on its opening day.

But before all that, Kasaba is coming and it is said to be the biggest release of Mammootty’s career. It may release in 150 screens here in Kerala and then it will have all the chance to break the records set by Mohanlal and Dulquer Salmaan.

Loham released in 145 screens in Kerala, holds the record of getting most number of screens here for a Malayalam film. Then comes Casanovva (136 screens), Pazhassi Raja (125 screens) etc. Dulquer’s Kali had got around 118 screens and Charlie had got around 110 screens.

Mammootty is playing a firebrand Police Officer named Rajan Zakariah in this upcoming film Kasaba and reports suggests that director Nithin Renji Panicker had wrote a fantabulous screenplay for this film. The people who worked in the film says that Kasaba is going to be a visual treat for Mammootty fans and film lovers of Kerala.

Malayalam Cinema is going through a new phase now in which films getting noticed and get succeeded at box office irrespective of the presence of stars or big names associated with it. Subject taking the center stage and it is a good thing indeed for the industry. But, still there are films get ignored which are very small in budget and there is also a trend that if a small film gets an award before its release, distributors and theater owners refuses to take up that film only because they thinks that people don’t want to see award winning movies.

Aashiq Abu is distributing the movie named Ozhivu Divasathe Kali directed By Sanal Kumar Sasidharan. The film will hit the screens on June 17. Ozhivu Divasathe Kali is based on the short story of Unni R and it had won several awards already. But the film will not have any stars in it and the team behind the film was finding it difficult to get a distributor for this movie. That time Aashiq Abu stepped in to the scene and agreed to distribute the film.

Lal Jose is distributing a movie named Lens directed by a newcomer named Jayaprakash Radhakrishnan. That film also will hit the selected screens here on June 17. Lal Jose’s LJ films always supported newcomers and young film makers. LJ films had distributed films like Neram, 1983, KL10 Pathu etc which are the maiden ventures of film Makers like Alphonse Puthran, Abrid Shine, Muhsin Parari etc.

Anyway, this move by Aashiq Abu and Lal Jose have to become a model to be followed by others as well. Because it will help to encourage young and new faces who have creative talents in them. It will definitely make our film industry to grow towards another level in terms of its quality.

Tamil actor Suriya has back on track with his latest release named 24, which had become a blockbuster success. The flick had released on May 6th this year and got great response from the audience. Suriya had played 3 characters in this movie including the hero and Villain characters. The Villain character he played has got tremendous applause from the audience and that character named Athreya is one of the best characters he played in his career till now.

Vikram Kumar had directed this movie based on time travel concept and actresses like Samantha and Nithya Menon had played the female leads in this movie. A R Rahman had composed the music of this film of which Suriya is a co-producer as well. As per the latest reports, Suriya is all set to play the lead in another big film, which will be made using almost 250 crores.

Sundar C said to be directing this film and the film will be produced by Tendral films. Sundar had already finished the screenplay and reports says that Suriya had agreed to play the lead. The film is said to be based on a mythological subject as well.

Suriya is now finishing up his project Singam 3 directed by Hari. The female leads in this film is playing by Anushka Shetty and Sruthi Hasan. Meanwhile, his 24 had made its place in the 150 crore club in box office.

Young superstar Dulquer Salmaan had hit a purple patch recently as he had scored 3 consecutive box office successes in 6 month time. The first among these 3 successes was Charli directed by Martin Prakatt, which released as last year Christmas release in Mollywood. It was a blockbuster success and collected around 40 crores from worldwide run as per reports. The film had also won great critical appreciation along with 8 state film awards. Dulquer Salmaan had won his first state award for best actor as well for his performance as Charlie in this movie. Parvathy had played the female lead in that movie.

Even though it lacked the support from family audience, it had manage to cross the 10 crore mark here from Kerala alone and likely to gross near 14 crore before it ends its run here in Mollywood.

He had a success in Tamil as well last year. Mani Ratnam directorial film OK Kanmani was a box office success in Tamil Nadu. It was an April release of last year. Dulquer’s previous year had begun with a flop as the film 100 days of Love directed by Jenuse Muhammad was failed to create any impact at box office. Later, he had come back strongly with 4 successes and a hattrick in Kerala box office.

Mohanlal starrer Pulimurugan was earlier all set to release on this coming Eid as per reports. Even though the team behind the film had not officially announced the date of its release, sources said that the team behind the film was planning to release it in this coming July. But now it is almost sure that the film will not hit the screens on this July as the post production works are not yet over.

As per some reports coming in, 5 days of shoot is still remaining for this movie. The flick was filmed most of its parts in the dense forests of Kerala. The crew has to face many threats while filming the movie. Mohanlal said that the threat from Elephants was the biggest one as the crew was chased by elephants many times during the shoot.

He said that they winds up the shoot each day at 5 pm in the evening as the wild animals begins to come out once the sun light fades. Still they have to encounter threat from Elephants. But the crew had withstood all those difficulties to complete the shoot. Mohanlal said that Pulimurugan is a down to earth movie which is based on the balance between nature and human life. It tells us the story based on human emotion as well as animal emotion, says the actor.

Even though it is an action packed movie, the makers are tried to make it as a realistic one as well. Mohanlal had fought with a real tiger and that too without using dupes for this flick. Peter Hein choreographed action sequences for this film directed by Vysakh and scripted by Udaya Krishna. Tomichan Mulakupadam produced this big budget movie under the banner of Mulakupaadam films.

Kammattipaadam Collection Report – 15 Days

Dulquer Salmaan’s latest release which had hit the screens on May 20 this year had completed two weeks run here. This Rajeev Ravi directorial and P Balachandran scripted movie had amassed great critical reception and film lovers also received it well. The film had took a decent opening in its first week by collecting around 6 crores from the screens here in Kerala.

After the completion of 15 days of its run here, the reports from trade analysts indicates that the flick had crossed the 10 crore mark. As of now, it had grossed around 10.3 crores from 15 days of its run.

Now, It had become the 3rd consecutive film of Dulquer Salmaan which had grossed more than 10 crore from Kerala. His last year release Charlie by Martin Prakkatt had a total Kerala gross around 20 crore. Then his first release of this year named Kali by Sameer Thahir also got a Kerala gross around 14 crore. Now, Kammattipadam also grossed more than 10 crore from here and likely to end up around 14-15 crore if things go well from here on.

The rain, School reopening etc had affected the box office response of the film along with the lack of family support due to the Adults only certificate it had got from censor board. The long run of the movie is in question as Eid releases will start to hit the screens from next month first week.

Blessy, the master director who is known for his classic films here in Mollywood had earlier announced that he will be making the cinematic version of Benyamin’s popular novel Aadu Jeevitham with Prithviraj in the lead. The film will be a big budget one and will be in 3D as well as per reports. It will only begin filming in next year and will be completed in 2018 as the subject needs that much time.

Before that Blessy will do 2 projects. One will be the Hindi remake of his Mohanlal starrer classic named Thanmathra and other one will be a biographical documentary on Philipose Mar Chrysostom. Mohanlal is said to be appearing in that documentary and they had already had a discussion about it. Blessy had already directed 7 films and he had made most of his films with Mohanlal.

Mammootty’s upcoming film Kasaba is all set to grace the screens here in Kerala on July 7 as per reports and we had reported earlier that Kasaba is preparing for the biggest release of Mammootty’s career till date. As per reports coming in from industry sources, the film will get around 150 screens in Kerala alone and all set to break the record set by Mohanlal’s Loham which is now the Malayalam film which had released in most number of screens here in Kerala.

We also heard that the screenplay by the director Nithin Renji Panicker is a fabulous one with lots of twist and turns which will thrill the audience like never before. The music director of this film is Rahul Raj and he said that Kasaba is a fantabulous movie and he had started doing the background scoring of this film.

Nithin Renji Panicker, son of Renji Panicker is making his debut with this film. Anyway this action thriller, in which Mammootty is playing a police officer named CI Rajan Zakariah is going to be one the best ever from Mammootty as per reports and it may create new box office records.
