Mammootty’s White movie release again postponed

Mammootty’s White movie release again postponed

The release of Mammootty starrer flick directed by Uday Ananthan titled White is again postponed and the new date is not yet fixed. The film produced by Eros International had earlier planned a release on April 14, on the Vishu day. They postponed it later by saying that there are some technical reasons for that. They postponed it to April 29 at that time. Then when the release date came nearer, they postponed it again and reports said that it may come a week later on May 6. That too not materialized and the new date said was May 20. But now the film is postponed from that date as well.

This constant change of date of its release is really affecting the film. The expectation level is going down and it will surely affect the initial of the film when it actually hits the screens. There are many reports doing its round in social media that it may come as an Eid release or may be postponed to Onam etc. But at that time, other Mammootty films such as Kasaba and Thoppil Joppan will be there. Already the hopes on the film is dying down and the entire hope of Mammootty fans is on Kasaba directed by Nithin Renji Panicker, which is slated as a Ramzan release in July.

White had got a hype earlier with its star cast including Bollywood beauty Huma Qureshi. But that all going down with this continuous postponing of release dates and that too without telling any proper reason. There are some rumors going on in social media that due to the plight of Mammootty’s last film Puthiya Niyamam in theaters, White is not getting enough theaters here in Kerala for release.

Mammootty’s last film Puthiya Niyamam was ended up only an average grosser even after getting decent response.

Aadupuliyattam, Valliyum Thetti Pulliyum Thetti : Jayaram Vs Kunchacko Boban box office fight on May 12

This coming Thursday will witness the fight between the evergreen stars of Mollywood, Jayaram and Kunchacko Boban. Jayaram film named Aadu Puliyattam and Kunchacko Boban film named Valleem Thetti Puleem Thetti are coming on this May 12th.

Aadu Puliyattam is a horror thriller directed by Kannan Thamarakkulam who had earlier directed the Jayaram-Rimi Tomi starrer flick Thinkal Muthal Velli Vare. This film is written by Dinesh Pallathu and produced by Haseeb Haneef and Noushad Alathur under the banner of Grande Film Corporation.

A huge star cast graced the film which include Bollywood actor Ompuri, Kollywood actor Sambath, popular South Indian heroine Remya Krishnan etc. From Mollywood, actors like Ramesh Pisharody, Saju Navodaya, Sheelu Abraham, baby Akshara Kishore etc acting in it along with hero Jayaram. The film will be dubbed in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu and will be released in and around 1000 screens as per report.

Vallem Thetti Puleem thetti is directed and written by debutant Rishi Shiva Kumar and it is a romantic-family entertainer. The film said to be set in the period of 1990’s in a fictional village. Shyamili is making her debut as female lead through this movie and it is produced by Faisal Latheef under the banner of Achappu Movie Magic.

Artists like Renji Panicker, Saiju Kuruppu, Manoj K Jayan, Mia George, Suresh Krishna, Sudheer Karamana etc also playing important roles in this flick. The trailer of the film already got great attention from the audience and songs by Soorej S Kuruppu had become super hits as well.

24 Movie Collection Report – 3 Days

Vikram Kumar directorial film named 24 starred by Suriya which released on May 6, has opened with positive response from all around the globe and it had a great run at box office as well. After the first weekend, the film had collected around 65 crores from its worldwide run.

On its first day it had collected above 20 crore from worldwide screens. But it was a working day and Suriya’s recent failures resulted in only average occupancy, specially for the morning shows. On its second day, it had got around 21.2 crores and the total figure jumped up to 41.2 crores from worldwide.

The film had a super Sunday as well and on Sunday too it had earned a figure around 23.8 crores and the total 3 day gross of the film from worldwide is now stands at 65 crores, says trade guides. The film had crossed 20 crore mark consecutively for 3 days and it helped the flick to have a great opening weekend. The film getting great box office collection from Telengana-Andhrapradesh region and overseas market too responding well.

As per trade guides, 24 had broken the record created by Vijay starrer film Theri in the United States and Canada in its first weekend. The real test for the film is coming now as 5 working days are coming and we have to wait and see how well it fares at box office on working days.

Even though the issues related to the death of actor Kalabhavan Mani was ignored by Media because of new developments in Kerala like Assembly elections and Jisha murder case, the family members of Kalabhavan Mani is in no mood to give it away easily. They still believe that Kalabhavan Mani’s death is not a natural one and it is homicide. They want justice to be done to their beloved Kalabhavan Mani. Kalabhavan Mani’s brother RLV Ramakrishnan had come out through online media and said that Mani was killed by using slow poison on him.

Ramakrishnan says he doubts the people who was with Kalabhavan Mani in those days. His death is a result of the conspiracy that took 3 month time and Ramakrishnan wants a detailed investigation on that. He said that some people may have given slow poison to Kalabhavan Mani in those days when he was with them.

Ramakrishnan complaints that police is not trying to find out the culprits and they even threatened him and the family members. It is a very serious situation and he is damn sure that Mani is not a person who even thinks about committing suicide. He doubts that the financial dealings is the cause of his brother’s murder.

The family members decided to go forward with their complaint. Ramakrishnan told to media that there is no one to help them. No one is there to support them while they were making moves to go forward with their complaints and the offer of support remains only in words.

Suriya film 24 has released last Friday and getting positive response from all around the globe. This science fiction film is directed and written by Vikram Kumar who had directed the super successful Telugu film named Manam earlier. The film 24 is based on time travel and people are amazed after seeing the film. Everybody says Vikram Kumar is the next big thing in Indian Cinema as he had really stunned everybody with his superb screenplay and fantastic direction. Vikram Kumar is Thissur native, Malayali but works in Tamil and Telugu. He says that a film with The complete actor Mohanlal is his biggest dream.

Vikram Kumar says that no one can act as natural as Mohanlal and once you watches his films you will become a die-hard fan of Mohanlal. Vikram Kumar said that he had saw the film Kilukkam may be more than a 1000 times in his life and he also loves many Mohanlal films like Mazha Peyyunnu Maddalam Kottunnu, Vellanakalude Nadu, Boeing Boeing, Manichithrathazhu etc.

Vikram Kumar had assisted Master director Priyadarshan and he says that Priya Darshan is the one who taught him all about hard working as a film Maker. He had assisted him in films like Chandralekha in which Mohanlal played the lead role. Vikram Kumar said the set of Chandralekha was so hilarious that he never laughed that much ever as he laughed while working in Chandralekha.

Vikarm Kumar says that even though he does not have much connections with Malayalam Film industry now, he will love to do a film in Mollywood and the dream of him will be a film with Mohanlal of course. He said recently he saw Maheshinte Prathikaram and loved the natural acting of actors who performed in it. His next film will be in Telugu with Allu Arjun in the lead.

Vikram Kumar also praised Suriya for his talent as an actor and the support he had given to as a producer while the movie 24 was filming. Vikram Kumar said that the movie had happened only because of Suriya.

Theri, the Vijay-Atlee film which released few weeks back still going on smoothly at box office and it had almost collected 160 crores from ITS worldwide run till now. The film was a great comeback from Vjiay after the disaster of Puli and it is now going towards the record set by his film Thuppakki years before, which was still his biggest success.

Now reports coming in that Theri is going to be remade in Hindi and Bollywood super star Akshay Kumar is going to play the lead in the movie as per unofficial reports. Akshay had said to be shown interest in the film after hearing the success this film is getting all over.

Akshay Kumar had earlier acted in the Hindi remake of Vijay’s Thuppakki and it became super success. He is all set to start the Hindi remake of Vijay’s Kaththi as well in the coming August. That may also invited Akshay Kumar’s attention on to this one.

Akshay Kumar is currently busy with Shankar’s Enthiran 2. He will have release like Houseful 3 coming up and will do a film with Neeraj Pandey titled Rustom as well this year.

There are some talks going on which says that Vijay-Atlee team is planning a second part to Theri. But is not a confirmed news as of now. Anyway, it will be great if Akshay Kumar plays the lead in Theri Hindi remake as Akshay Kumar always done justice to the original version whenever he had remade films from south.

But, as his next venture, this fabulous filmmaker is planning a movie based on campus life and he said to Onlookers Media that there will be opportunity for many fresh faces to be a part of this film.

He had given chances to many fresh faces in his previous films as well and in Action Hero Biju, most of the characters were played by fresh faces. The success of both of his films made the audience to look forward to his next flick with great anticipation and that is an added responsibility for him to come up with something different and good.

We can say that a Suriya film getting good applause from here after a long time and the credit goes to the man Vikram Kumar for his screenplay and direction.

Vikram Kumar is a Malayalee and was the assistant of master director Priyadarshan in Chandralekha. The film 24 had fared well here in Kerala as per the collection report that is coming from trade guides here. From its two days run here, the movie had grossed around 3.50 crore.

Anyway, the film had took the best opening ever for a Suriya film in Kerala and it seems that the hard work put in behind the making of this film has been paid off.
