Drinking water arrived at Nellukadavu as per Own Your Water project by Mammootty

Mega Star Mammootty had started a project named Own Your Water to fight the drought in this summer and started to implement the plan right away after the meeting was held at Kochi. As a part of the project they had placed many water tanks at public places in Ernakulam district and also begun the works to place shades at traffic junctions to save people from heat. Now, as per this plan by Mammootty, people of Nellukadavu had got drinking water as well.

A tank with a capacity to hold 5000 liter water has been placed in the colony and from there started the distribution of pure water for the people of that colony. They were suffering due to the lack of enough water even to make their food. Almost 200 families are living in that area and they are demanding for months.

Now, they got what they had asked for, thanks to this plan by Mammootty and also due to efforts of people who had stood with him which include the District Collector M G Rajamanickyam. Vigilance SP Nishanthini was present at the inauguration function of the tank there at Nellukadavu and she had handed over one pot filled with water to an age old lady there as an inauguration of the water distribution.

The volunteers of this project had plans to place as many tanks as possible at many places in Kochi, where people had difficulty in getting pure water says Nishanthini.

Political Parties and the legal system of ours have to act as quickly as they can to find the culprit who brutally raped and killed Jisha at Perumbavoor, a week back.

Many prominent figures in our society had come up with their protest in this issue and many people are lamenting the incapability of our government and Police to find out who did this to Jisha. People like Mammootty, Dulquer Salmaan had come out voicing their protest against this situation and without delay, the legend Mohanlal also expressed his protest against this situation through his official Facebook page.

Mohanlal said that we all want the safety of our mothers, sisters, friends, daughters all the time and wherever they are. We have to ensure that safety at all cost. Mohanlal ended his Facebook post by praying for the departed soul of Jisha.

It was one shocking news when we come to know about the suicide of Ajay Krishnan who was the producer of the upcoming Malayalam film named Avarude Ravukal. It was a film directed by Shanil Muhammad with Unni Mukundan and Asif Ali playing the lead roles.

Police had taken up the investigation and they said that he had committed suicide due to some financial problems. But they also checking other possibilities. But now, another turn had come in the case as the girlfriend of Ajay Krishnan, named Vineetha Nair also found dead and that too confirmed as a suicide by the Police.

Vineetha Nair was found dead at her house at Anchal, Kollam and had committed suicide by hanging herself. Police said that they had found a suicide note as well from the scene and in it she was clearly stated that she was committing suicide because she can’t bear the pair of the loss of her boyfriend Ajay Krishnan who passed away few days back. Vineetha Nair was mentally very disturbed after the death of Ajay Krishnan. She was a graduate in Fashion designing.

Shanil Muhammad, the director of the film told that the reports about Ajay Krishnan’s financial problems were not at all true, as he had no such problems. The film’s satellite rights were finalized even before he committed suicide. Shanil Muhammed also slammed the reports that Ajay Krishnan had committed suicide after watching the preview of the film. The post-production is not yet over and how one can conduct the preview of a film without completing its works, he asks.

Actors like Unni Mukundan also said that Ajay Krishnan was a great guy and he was very cool. He had no issues as far as they know him. He had worked hard along with all the artists and technicians in the film to make it a good one.

People are raising their voices against the injustice done towards Jisha and they are demanding the investigation to be fast and without any political pressure.

Mammootty said that when a girl named Nirbhaya was brutally raped in Delhi and many such incidents happened in North India, we were quite relaxed here and we were proud of our state as we believed nothing like that will ever happen in our state Kerala. But when this girl named Jisha was brutally raped and killed here, as a Malayali our heads are bowing down in absolute shame. Mammootty says that we have to be heroes by protecting our mothers and sisters. Don’t become a curse to our society by attacking women. We have to protect each and every woman and make sure that anything like this will never happen to any other girl in Kerala from now on.

Vijay starrer film Theri is already declared as a super success Kollywood film of this year and this Atlee directorial had made it quite big. Even after getting mixed reviews, the fil getting great collection and it is creating records in overseas market specially. Almost 3 weeks completed after releasing the film and the 18 days collection report coming from trade guides says that Theri had made its spot in the 150 crore club and that too in style.

Now everybody is looking forward to the prospect of Theri breaking Thuppakki collection records which is around 180 crores as per reports. From India alone, this film had raked in 106 crores from 18 days and the overseas collection is almost close to the 50 crore mark as well. The total collection of the film stands at 155 crores from worldwide screens.

From Chennai alone it had raked in more than 9 crore rupees and as we reported earlier, it had made history at Mayajal multiplex complex by crossing 1 crore mark gross and the number people who came to see the film there crossed 1 lakh. On this Thursday, Surya’s 24 will hit the screens and that can affect the smooth sailing of Theri at box office.

The comment came from the account which is in the name of Renjith in this situation poured oil into the fire.
