Unni Mukundan starrer film Style conceived by Ithihasa fame S Binu is now looking steady at box office with 1 crore gross in its first three days. The film had earned around 38 lakhs in its first day and the second day also showed around 30 Lakhs collection. Even though when we look at the figure of 1 crore, it may seem small but when we consider it as the collection of a movie from a young team it is very much encouraging. The film had generated very good opinion all around as a mass action entertainer tailor made for youngsters.

Dileep’s latest release named Two Countries directed by Shafi and written by his brother and popular writer/director Rafi is going to be on the way to become one of the top grossers our industry has seen. The film which released on the Christmas Day last year has got great word of mouth from the audience and box office performance of the film is phenomenal as well.

The official report came after the first 5 days said that the film had grossed almost 10 crore from its run in Kerala alone. After that as well the film is going great at box office. Screens were added due to heavy rush at theaters and the film which released in 90 theaters were now running around 120 screens in Kerala. The film is setting new collection record for Dileep Films as well.

From the Multiplexes of Ernakulam alone, the film had collected more than 1 crore rupees till now and it is for the first time that a Dileep film collected above 1 crore from the Multiplexes of Ernakulam. Mohanlal film Drishyam is the first ever Malayalam film to do so in Ernakulam Multiplexes an later Bangalore days and Premam done it as per reports.

As per unconfirmed reports coming from various sources, Two Countries had already gone pass the 15 crore mark in collection. There is a doubt that whether it’s the Kerala gross alone or the All India gross they are mentioning. But either way the film is already declared as a Blockbuster success by earning above 15 crore gross from just 10-12 days run in box office. The flick has been going strong in working days as well and holidays gives heavy returns as well. No other films can even compete with Two Countries as the family support is going fully to this Dileep Film financed by M Renjith under the banner of Rejaputhra Visual Media.

The film is one of the best comedy entertainer we saw recently in Mollywood and from Dileep as well. Mamta Mohandas is the female lead in this film and Aju Varghese also getting applause for his character in this film.

Charlie Collection Report

Dulquer Salmaan’s latest release named Charlie, which released one day before Christmas last year has a very good box office collection as the latest reports says. The film grossed above 9.5 crore in its 10 days of box office run. The film directed by Martin Prakatt and financed by himself along with Joju George and Shebin Bucker under Finding Cinemas had a great opening at box office. The film had generated mixed reviews among the spectators and critics. In the first four days of the film, it had earned a whopping 6.82 crore.

But Later the mixed opinion had done the trick and the collections began to drop down in fast pace. If we look at the latest collection report, it had earned around 9.6 crores from 10 days. That means the film had earned only 2.8 crores in its next 6 days after the 4 day opening weekend when it got 6.82 cr. That means the average collection per day after the weekend is around 40 lakhs. That is not a great collection for a much hyped film like Charlie. The mega success of Dileep’s Two countries also pulled down Charlie in the box office race.

Now it seems that Charlie will end up collecting below 20 crore mark as the new releases is coming and many big releases are expected like Action Hero Biju, Pavada, Puthiya Niyamam etc. It will surely take away many centers from Charlie which already facing show reduction and losing of some screens due to the blockbuster success Two Countries had got. But Charlie seems to be end up as the biggest solo hit of Dulquer Salmaan may be as in its worldwide collection, it can end up some way near 17-18 crore gross in total.

Dulquer Salmaan and Parvathy is been getting great appreciation for their performance in the film along with the Visuals of Jomon T John, music of Gopi Sundar and above all Martin Prakatt for his craft and Unni R for his refreshing screenplay after Munnariyippu.

Aadu Oru Bheekara Jeeviyanu is one of the most celebrated release of last year in Mollywood. The film had come with great anticipation and the super trailer of the film made it one of the most expected one as well. But when the film released, it got the worst response from the crowd and have to say that not even a single positive review had come through social media or any other medias. Troll pages were trolled the film like never before and it had ended up as a disaster in box office. But after some months when the film’s DVD’s and CD’s were out and the film came to Torrent, it got great acceptancy in social media suddenly.

Even though the makers tried a trimmed version when the film got worst reviews from theaters. When the trimmed version became it got some decent response as well. But the film was removed from most of the centers at that time. That trimmed version does the trick related to the acceptancy in social media after some months. Now from that energy, the makers are planning the sequel of this film and the pre-production works had already started as per unconfirmed reports.

The film was directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas and financed by Friday Film House owned by actor Vijay Babu and Sandra Thomas. They had told this news to the medias in an interview as well. Midhun had started the works of the sequel. The star cast of the new film is yet to be announced but there may not be much changes from the first one.

Jayasurya played the lead role in the film his character was Shaji Pappan which had now great followers in social media. Apart from that the film had Saiju Kuruppu, Dharmajan, Sunny Wayne, Indrans, Chemban Vinod, Vinayakan, Renji Panicker, Aju Varghese, Srinda, Vijay Babu, Sandra Thomas, Kottayam Pradeep etc. The film is noted for its character intros with heavy background scoring and each of that intro songs of the characters were super successful as well. Shan Rahman was the man behind the music section of the film.

Anyway now everybody is waiting for the sequel of a film that got acceptancy through social media groups and page. Friday Film house also coming up with the sequel of their latest success Adi Kapyare Koottamani directed by John Varghese. Their another production Muthugow is also getting ready which has Suresh Gopi’s son Gokul Suresh in lead roles.
