Mohanlal not to contest in coming Legislative Assembly Election in Kerala

Fake reports about celebrities is now a trend in online medias and when it comes to film personalities, it’s on a really higher side. The latest on this this is actor Mohanlal, who had always been the target of these fake news makers. If a news publishes with the name of Mohanlal in it, the reach and impact that news gets is unbelievable and no other can boast of such impact among people just with his name.

The latest news which came in some online medias that Mohanlal is going to contest elections in the coming legislative assembly elections of Kerala and that too as a congress candidate. But Mohanlal himself said to be clarified the issue as he said to the medias that he is not going to contest in any elections in Kerala and he never wanted to enter in politics. He reportedly said that he do not want to get associated with any political party now as he had no desire and no time to be in active politics. Other reports which are coming about in the name of his political plans are just fake ones.

The report which spread said that Mohnlal is going to be the candidate of Congress in the coming elections in Kerala and that too with the support of NSS. It says that Mohanlal will contest from the constituency of Changanassery and congress is ready to support Mohanlal if he wants to contest from there as well. Now, Kerala Congress(M) representative C F Thomas is the candidate from Changanassery. They also reported that Kerala Congress leader N Jayaraj and Minister Thiruvanjoor Radhakarishnan had took the initiative to make Mohanlal contest the elections as well.

Anyway Mohanlal thrashed all those rumors and said a clear cut no to politics as of now. He is now busy with his Telugu project at Hyderabad and had lot more projects to come up in different languages next year as well. The most interesting thing is that at college level, Mohanlal was an SFI comrade and if he choose a political side what we will be his choice is an interesting question.

Mohanlal to captain Kerala Strikers again in CCL

Celebrity Cricket League to kick start its 6th edition in January 2016 and as per reports it will start in 23rd January 2016. Kerala’s team in CCL is a popular team named Kerala Strikers and once again Mohanlal will lead the team this time. Out of the 5 times Kerala played in this league, Mohanlal had led the team 4 times and the team had reached the final once and played the semi -finals twice. But last time Mohanlal was not there to lead the side because of some health issues and the team went out of the league in the first round itself. The support for the team from the Kerala crowd is also unbelievable when Mohanlal leads the team.

Kerala Strikers officials said in a press meet today that Mohanlal will lead the team once again this season and the first match f the team will be on 24th January against Karnataka Bulldozers. There will be two matches in Kochi Jawaharlal stadium for Kerala Strikers this time, which is their home venue in this league. The first home match of the team will be on January 31st against Chennai Rhinos at 7 PM in the evening. The team members apart from captain Mohanlal is Asif Ali, Nivin Pauly, Unni Mukundan, Kunchacko Boban, Indrajith, Prachod Kalabhavan, Bala etc and Edavela Babu will be the team manager as usual. There is 8 franchesies playing in this CCL.

Mohanlal who is a medium pace bowler in the team now was a good all-rounder in his college days. He is a good player and had great interest in the game as well. Once Mohanlal and director Priya Darshan had planned to buy an IPL team for Kochi as well but later that plan dropped due to some issues and pressures that came politically.

Priyadarshan who is also the co-owner of CCL Kerala team was also a good cricket player who is played up to university level. But once his eyes got injured during a match and he had to stop playing cricket due to that accident.

Dulquer Salmaan and Sai Pallavi film titled Kali

Dulquer Salmaan and Sai Pallavi starrer flick which started its filming last month was untitled till now and the film is titled Kali now. The film was in the news for mainly two resaons. One is that it is the second film in which Dulquer Salmaan and Sameer Thahir joining together after the film Neelakasham Pacha Kadal Chuvanna Bhoomi. Second reason is that it is the second film of Sai Pallavi after she had made all the craze among youngsters in Kerala with her film opposite Nivin Pauly named Premam. Malar, the character played by her in the film was become a great reason for the success of that film as well.

The film Kali will have equal importance to action and romance. Dulquer Salmaan plays the character named Sidharth and Sai Pallavi playing a character named Anjali who is the wife of Sidharth. The film has other actors like Chemban Vinod. Soubin Shahir, Vinayakan playing key roles. The main locations of the film was Moonnar, Kuttikkanam and Kochi.

Dulquer’s character Sidharth is a customer relation officer of a new generation bank. The life of him from the age of 5 years to his 28th year is the main plot of the film. A new writer Rajesh Gopinath has written the dialogues and screenplay of the film. The film is financing by Ashiq Usman, Shyju Khalid and Sameer Thahir under the banner of Hand Made Films after the success of their first venture Chandrettan Evideya.

They are planning to release it on March 26 next year. The DOP of the film is Gireesh Gangadharan who was also the DOP of the Sameer Thahir-Dulquer team’s previous film Neelakasham Pacha Kadal Chuvanna Bhoomi.

Some days back actress Bhavana had set fire to a controversy in Mollywood with a statement of her in a recent media interview. She said that a popular actor in the industry is trying to make her career go out of track and an unofficial ban is placed upon her. She said that it is because she had supported one of her friend in her family problems as she thought that it was her duty as a woman and as a friend. But the actor who has relation with this issue then tried to bring blocks in her career only because she supported the one who is opposite to him in the issue.

The controversy had become a topic of discussion among the Malayalam movie artists association named AMMA. They are not happy with the comment of Bhavana because her comment had made many actors in the industry under the light of suspicion. Now official words from AMMA association had come and they says that if Bhavana gives a complaint to them specifying the name of the actor , they will do the necessary step to solve the issue.

Maniyan Pillai Raju, who is the General Secretary of AMMA had said this to media. Bhavana said that at first many thought it was a gossip but it was a fact that a popular actor is eally playing against her in the industry. But she said that she is not sad because of the lost opportunities as many films that went away from her was big box office flops and she was actually felt it as a blessing in disguise as well. The coming films of her will be Hello Namasthe and Adventures of Omanakkuttan. Her releases in this year was Ivide and Kohinoor. She also decided that she will do only two films in an year.

She did not want to attach the caste name Menon’ along with her name and she don’t like it at all. She spoke about this caste issue regarding her name while she was attending a felicitation ceremony given to her by the Bar association in Kozhikkodu. She says that many people calls her by the wrong name Parvathy Menon and she says she is only Parvathy not Parvathy Menon.

Parvathy asks media and her colleagues from film industry to mind this fact and stop calling or mention her using the caste name along with her name. She is the most talented and one of the most popular actress now in Mollywood with back to back successes like Bangalore Days and Ennu Ninte Moideen. In both those films she got powerful characters to play named Sarah and Kanchanamala.

Now she is waiting for the film named Charlie in which she played a key role opposite Dulquer Salmaan. The film will release on 24th December and it directed by Martin Prakatt and scripted by Unni R. It is the second time that she became the heroine of Dulquer Salmaan after Bangalore Days.
