Priyamani is one of the most popular and talented actresses in South India and she is very popular among malayalees too as she had done a handful good good films here. She had the luck to act along with the legends like Mohanlal, Mammootty and even with Shahrukh Khan in a Bollywood film named Chennai Express in which she had done an item dance with Shahrukh Khan. She is been one of the most followerd actress in South India right from her debut in different south Indian languages and a heartthrob of so many youngsters. So it may be a sad news for them as reports coming in which says that Priyamani is all set to tie knot in the coming year and she had revealed with whom it will be as well.

Priyamani is the judge of the reality show in Mazhavil Manorama channel named D4 Dance and it was there we first heard about that she has been dating someone. Later she herself revealed his name and it was Mustafa Raj. He was her best friend and later they fell in love. As per reports they met during the course of Celebrity cricket league but Mustafa has nothing to do with film industry and he is a business man. They had been in a relationship for almost 1 year and now they are planning to settle down and as per sources close to them 2016 will be the year in which they may tie a knot. Their families had agreed for the marriage as well.

Priyamani was not responding to the question about this relationship and marriage earlier but now revealed this much for the media. She has been very active in mini screen now-a-days as ajudge in many dance reality shows. Priyamani is the judge in Kannada dance reality show as well along with the Malayalam one which we just mentioned above.

She had become very popular in Tamil, Kannada and Telugu with her glamour roles as well as with her great acting skills. We don’t know anything about whether she will continue her film career after the marriage or not.

Quite unfortunately it all changed in the space of one day when the news broke out to the public of Kerala that actor Shine Tom Chacko has been arrested by the Kerala police for the possession of cocaine and attending a drug party in some place at Kochi. Shine had been had been kept in prison for almost 60 days and in all medias he had been trolled like never before without knowing or care to listen what he had to say about the issue.

After Ithihas’s success and just before the arrest Shine Tom Chacko had started the film named Viswasam Athalle Ellam which was the first directorial venture of a director whose name is Jayaraj Vijay. Then the arrest happened and after he went to jail the filming had stopped and the whole crew had been waiting for him to come out from jail to complete the flick which has stopped half way. The whole crew behind the film believed that Shine was innocent and he had been trapped in the case by some others. After waiting for almost 2 months he got bail and came out of the jail after 60 days of imprisonment. Very quickly Shine had started the filming of his latest flick again and now it has been completed and all set to release in theaters.

The film named Vishwasam Athelle Ellam is now all set for a grand release and the trailer of the film is already out which was well accepted by the social media. Interestingly the thing is that the trailer itself giving us some humour parts which makes us remember the case for which Shine Tom Chacko was jailed and also has some dialogues through which he is trying to explain to us what has happened there in an indirect manner or through his character’s situation in the film.

When we come to the details of the flick, the director Jayaraj Vijay himself written the story and screenplay of this upcoming flick which is his debut film as we said above. Baahubali entered 100 crore club in quick time

Baahubali the masterpiece from SS Rajamouli had hit the silver screens all over the globe on this 10th July and it had opened to wonderful reviews from common audience and critics alike. The technical brilliance of the film is said to be on par with the technical excellence we have seen in many Hollywood epic films. Torrent sites are not blocked by anti-piracy cell

There has been a news spreading that anti-piracy cell of our state has blocked many torrent sites after finding out that the pirated prints of many of our films are spreading through the torrent sites. The news said that anti-piracy cell had took this action in the light of recent piracy issue of the film Premam and the problems that happened here related to that issue. Most recently ant-piracy cell had arrested some students from Kollam for uploading the pirated print of the film Premam to internet and later found out that they had uploaded it to some torrent websites named kickass.com and other two sites. That was the reason why the pirated print spread too fast as people visits many torrent sites every day. The news also came in the light of this situation.

But the fact is not this and it was not anti-piracy cell which had blocked the torrent sites. They do not have the authority to block any torrent sites or something like that. Many people are posting in social media that with relation to Premam piracy issue our anti-piracy cell had blocked the torrent sites in which they found the so called censor copy of the flick Premam. But in fact even if they wants to block that site they do not possess the authority and mechanism to block any sits that is a part of Google.

Google Chrome is blocking many torrent sites while people searching for that and leaves a message for the ones who searching for those sites that it can harm their computers by indirectly installing malicious Softwares and they page contains somewhat harmful contents for their personal computer. It was Google themselves had debunked the torrent sites such as Kickass, Torrentz and Extratorrents and not anti-Piracy cell as per the news which is spreading.

Even the site owners has no clue about why Google is blocking their sites and they are in a kind of dilemma too to what to do next to be back at normal working status of their sites. There has been many issues all over the world due to the piracy activities through these torrent sites and that may well be the reason why Google had done this.

Baahubali first day official collection report

As we said earlier Baahubali has created history at Box office from its very first day of theatrical run. Yesterday some trade guides predicted that the film will collect above 30 crore for sure from all around the globe and may beat all collection set by various Bollywood films on the first day of release. They were right in the sense that Baahubali actually collected more than 30 crore and broke the first day collection record as well. But their prediction went too low for Baahubali as the film had collected 50 crore from India alone and the overall collections are still not available. Trade guide Taran Adrash had shared the collection figures of the film through Twitter.

The flick had not just become the highest box office opener this year but also easily become the biggest ever opener in India beating all existing box office records. From his Hindi dubbed version alone it had collected 5.5 crore on its first day and it was too a record when it comes to films which had dubbed in Hindi and released all over India.

The distribution rights of the Hindi dubbed version of the flick has been grabbed by the popular production and distribution company in Bollywood named Dharma Productions owned by Karan Johar and they are also overwhelmed by the response they are getting from North India for this magnum opus flick from SS Rajamouli. The flick has been doing phenomenal work in south Indian box office too as it had took the box office of Tamilnadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh by storm and still the theaters are overflowing with crowd.

The repeated audience and new ones who is coming after the fantastically positive reviews making a sure long run for this film and it is going to be the fastest to reach the 100 crore club in India as well as per sources. Because at places where the collection is a little low due to theater strike such as in Kerala the flick had picked up from today as the strike had called off. Wide release is the cure to save ailing Mollywood

The theater strike came yet again in Mollywood and it had really become some sort of nightmare to the Malayalam film industry as it really keeps away the audience from theaters. All association are made here to protect and save the cinema here but many of them working as a real curse to Malayalam film industry. There are many associations here for actors, producers, technicians, distributors and theaters and all of them are fighting against each other in some matter or the other and they are doing no good at all for our film industry.

This theater strike which had declared last Wednesday of no difference at all. They are saying that it is for supporting Premam against the piracy issue. But the fact of the matter is that they have their own private agenda behind this and Premam issue is just a mask to cover up that selfish motive of them.

The real issue is about the Wide release of films which is all set to begin again with the release of Baahubali today. Till now a film releases only in 70+ A class theaters or in the theaters which are a member of the film exhibitors federation. After that many weeks later or so they were shifted to the B and C class theaters according to the performance of the flick in Box office. The B and C class theaters were coming under the guidance of film exhibitors association.

But the producers association and distributors association is clamoring for the wide release of films which will give them a lot more security regarding the financial matters and also a prevention from spreading of pirated prints. If a film gets wide release it will get 120 theaters or more and from very few days it can mass maximum collection from the theaters alone. The film will reach to more and more people with release in more and more enters. Within a very few time the film can be secure at box office. Even B and C class theaters can get enough financial security if a film releases in their cinema halls.

But what happens now is that the exhibitors federation not supports this cause because it can reduce their profit share. Surprisingly they were showing this filthy attitude only towards Mollywood films. They had no problem when a tamil film gets more than 120 theaters to release. The biggest hit in Mollywood till now is Mohanlal starrer Drishyam and even that film only get below 80 theaters to release. But its Tamil remake of Drishyam-Papanasham had got more theaters than Drishyam at the time of release. They won’t even respect out legendary super stars as well.

The wide relaese was once implemented in the year 2008 and it was highly successful as well. But Exhibitors federation went against it and stopped it. Liberty Basheer, the president of exhibitors federation was once a film producer and it is very shocking that he is the one who is behind all this drama by the exhibitors federation that has become a curse to our industry.

This strike has nothing to do with the fight against piracy issue and the betterment of Malayalam film industry but only aimed at fulfilling some personal and selfish motives.

The great promotional tactics used by the team of the film and also the wonderful star cast also become instrumental in such a big start of the film. The flick has been much anticipated right from the day of its announcement and that excitement and anticipation went high with the filming of the flick.

Social media got a new villain in town and now it is Liberty Basheer, the president of exhibitors federation in Kerala. The film exhibitors federation had called for the theater strike yesterday and it is still continuing. Due to that strike the release of the magnum opus film Baahubali at Kerala has been affected and many film lovers here missed the chance to watch that epic film in the first day of its release itself. The flick has got great mouth publicity and in Kerala the film had released only in multiplexes.

Social media is blaming Liberty Basheer for the loss of their chance to watch the epic film in our screen and it is increasing each moment. People are not at all happy with the decision of the Film exhibitors federation’s strike as they believes that these strikes will only kill Malayalam cinema rather than protecting it from anything bad.

Social media says that they are going behind pirated prints only because they are denied the chance to watch the film in theaters. Wide release of a film gives them the chance to watch a film from the theaters near them. But the exhibitors federation does not want it and they are going against wide release. That itself motivates people to watch the pirated copies as they have to travel miles or have to spend a lot of money than usual if the film is released in any far away theater.

Even Baahubali was released in some theaters despite the strike and we can see heavy crowd there for watching the film. There is always people for watching good films and these kind of strikes denies them the chance to see the film from theater, says people in social media. Many people criticizing Liberty Basheer and says that he is the one who is responsible for all this as he only wants to reap selfish benefits from the strike that is happening now.

Raid by Anti-Pircay cell in censor board office regarding Premam issue

Premam issue is getting to its end and police has tightening its screws as well. As a part of acting efficiently and quickly, today Anti-piracy cell of Kerala had conducted a raid in the censor board office at Trivandrum. It has been taken place at afternoon today as censor board had not obeyed the order if Anti-piracy cell to produce the censor copy of the film before today afternoon. So Anti-piracy cell has forced to conduct the raid in the censor board office and they seized the censor copy of the film that kept there at the censor board office.

Anti-Piracy cell had the warrant to seize the CD containing the censor copy of the film and they had done it as the board had denied to co-operate with them by producing the censor copy by themselves. It was yesterday that Ant-Piracy cell had given the last warning to the censor board to produce the copy before the investigating agency by today afternoon. But they were not ready to accept it and then Anti-piracy cell had to move to court for the warrant to seize that CD containing the censor copy. After getting the warrant they did not waste any time and conducted the raid quickly and seized what they want form the censor board.

Censor board was not co-operating with the investigation from the very beginning and when the police and anti-piracy cell had searched the censor board office last Sunday they were not ready to give the censor copy to the investigation team. They said that they need permission form their Headquarters in Mumbai to give that away to the Ant-Piracy cell. And they were given time till today afternoon to get that permission as well. But still they were so adamant to give away the copy and that is what prompted the Anti-piracy cell to go to court which resulted in the raid in the office of the censor board and he seizing of the censor copy of the film.

There has been still doubts that the print had come out from the censor board office and many had raised this doubt from very early stages of the investigation as well.
