Baahubali made an excellent start in Kerala grossing 2.55cr from 3 days

The three day gross collection of the film Baahubali from all over the world is just stunning as it had reportedly grossed above 160 crores and still going sailing strongly to conquer new high points in Indian Box office history. In India alone it had got 4000 screens and the outside screens are too good in number as well. From everywhere the flick has been getting stunning mouth publicity as well as revenues. As expected the money is pouring in for the film from all over the globe and if it goes like this way very soon or within no time bahubali will become the numero uno in the Indian box office history.

In Kerala too the flick had made an excellent start and have to say that the flick is getting the biggest reception ever got by a Telugu film in Kerala. In Kerala the Tamil and Malayalam version of the film is released and in some centers we heard that the Telugu version and Hindi version of the film is also showing as per the public demand. Global United Media had distributed this flick here and they had arranged the first ever 4K projection of the film in India for this film in Trivandrum Aries Multiplex as well.

According to Global United Media reports Baahubali had got 2.55 crore rupees till July 12 from the theaters here and it is stunning considering that fact that on the day of its release or precisely to be on July 10 a theater strike was going on in Kerala announce by the cine exhibitors federation. So it had got only 60 screens here in its first day on July 10. The next day the strike has been called off and the film is expanded to almost 150 theaters in Kerala.

People are pouring in despite rain and Ramzan month and youngsters forming the repeated audience phenomenon for the flick as well. Its an example which shows one thing clearly that if the work of art is good and perfect then language boundaries is not a problem for accepting it whole heartedly. The epic flick Baahubali is spreading its mighty hand everywhere with Elan.

Baahubali is making waves all over the world and its way to become the biggest ever hit in Indian cinema and that seems to be a poetic justice as well. The biggest Indian film ever and the most technically perfect film ever has to be the biggest success in India and it is a title which Baahubali deserves to hold at least till another cinematic wonder comes to dethrone it. May be the second part of the film itself which is releasing next year titled as Baahubali-The Conclusion.

But what made Baahubali the most thrilling film in Indian screen. We know there are lot of factors combined to make it the best but one thing we think stands out from the rest was the action choreography by the best stunt man in India. Yes the stunt master Peter Hein’s stunt direction had made this flick to raise to another level and the stunts in the war sequence were just the best ever in Indian screen. The action man Peter Hein is actually from Vietnam but he is India’s own now as he works here and spent his major part of life in India. This man had done many epic films as stunt master specially in South India and his works in films like Anniyan, Ravan (Hindi) Sivaji, Enthiran, Ghajni (Hindi), Ezham Arivu, Magadheera(Telugu) etc made him so popular and most valuable in Indian film industry.

And now he is directing the stunt scenes in a Malayalam film and that too starring Mohanlal who is undoubtedly the best ever fighter Mollywood had ever seen till now. This Vyskah directorial film Puli Murugan has a unique stunt pattern that Mohanlal had to fight with 10 leopards in a dense forest for the film and peter is choreographing the stunts between Mohanlal and Leopards which involves great risk and adventure. As per the reports coming we heard that both Mohanlal and Peter hein already started to mesmerize the unit with their great rapport and skill of fighting.

Now mollywood also getting to know the man behind the amazing stunts of Baahubali and that too along with their biggest star Mohanlal which will be an icing on the cake. We saw Prabhas as Baahubali and now its Mohanlal’s turn to make us wonder struck as Puli Murugan under the action choreography of Peter Hein.

And at last the Tamil version of the Malayalam blockbuster Bangalore days has been titled and it is as ADMK- Arjun Divya Matrum Karthik. From the beginning of its filming there had been a lot of speculations and rumours about the title of the Kollywood remake of the Mollywood blockbuster released in 2014 named Banglore Days conceived by popular Mollywood director Anjali Menon and now putting to rest all that speculations and rumours the Tamil remake of the film had almost finished it shooting and the title also was announced which we just mentioned above.

As you all know in the Tamil version of the film Parvaty Menon was the only one who played the heroine of Dulquer Salman in the Malayalam version retained her role in Tamil as well. And all other actors and actresses from Malayalam version were replaced in the Tamil version and the new star cast in Tamil has actors like Rana Daggubati who is very popular in all over India with the success of Baahubali as he played the main villain in that, Arya, Bobby Simha and Sri Divya.

For you to comprehend easily we can share who is playing whose character from the original version. The character which young star Dulquer Salmaan played in the Malayalam version will be played by Arya in the Tamil version, the role played by Fahad Fazil will be enacted by Rana Daggubati in the Tamil and Sri Divya will replace Nazriya Nazim in the Tamil. The young sensation of Mollywood Nivin Pauly’s character in the Malayalam version will be done by Bobby Simha in the Tamil version of the film.

Apart from the artist the other one who was retained from the original Malayalam version by the makers of Tamil version is Gopi Sundar, the music director. Tamil remake of this film is conceived by the telugu director Bhaskar who has given successful films. Another notable change from the Malayalam version is that the plot background of the film was set in Singapore rather than in Bangalore and film will be financed by PVP films and Prasad Potluri. Film maker Anwar Rasheed was the financer of Bangalore Days in association with Sophia Paul of Weekend Blockbusters.

Sometimes a small photo taken along with a star can cause you problems and today that is what happened at Ernakulam. Today at St. Teresa’s College Ernakulam there was a function held to appreciate and reward students who passed SSLC and Plus two with high marks and it was MLA Hybi Eden who had instituted those rewards for the students. In that function the young star of Mollywood Nivin Pauly had come as an invited chief guest and he got a warm welcome there.

But the problem happened later. When he arrived there people rushed towards him to take his autograph and some want to take picture with him as well. But the one who got that chance was none other than Merin Joseph IPS who become very popular in social media circles as the most beautiful lady in the entire police force of Kerala. She had posed with Nivin Pauly for a photo and in fact she had made MLA hybi Eden to took that photo for which she and Nivin pauly posed in front of her mobile camera. She was in her police uniform and in her duty as well even though she was invited there as a guest for the function.

Later she had uploaded that photo in her Facebook profile while she was sitting on stage and she found completely engrossed in that moment as well. But the action by one of the most responsible officer in town not digestible to the higher officials in the force and right away the warned Merin Joseph for what she had done while she in uniform and in duty time as well. We also heard that she was scolded by the higher officials for this incident.

Meanwhile the magnum opus Baahubali is cruising all over the globe by breaking records and creating history, our Mollywood is all set to block that success ride at least here in Kerala. Due to theater strike declared by the cine exhibitors federation two days back the release of the film Baahubali was not made a big impact here in Kerala but the flick had picked up its stride right after the strike has been called off today morning. The flick has been getting great reports from all over Kerala and it will continue at least for few more days for sure.

Mollywood shows a unique character when it comes to cinema as our film lovers accepts every kind of films and also films from every languages if it is a watchable one. So every big film industry in India has their own market here in Kerala and sometime Bollywood and Kollywood flick does much better business than our own films here.

Now Baahubali also making waves here as there is no Mollywood films now to compete with it as the Ramzan month is still not over. But by next week Ramzan month will be over and a heap of Malayalam film will come to theaters in this season to compete with the mighty Baahubali.

The flicks which are coming from next week to grace the silver screens of Mollywood are Mega star Mammootty starrer and G. Marthandan directorial flick Acha Dhin, Jayaraj Vijay directorial and Shine Tom Chacko, Ansiba Hassan, Archana Jayakrishnan starrer film Double Barrel, Madhra Naranga directed by ordinary fame Sugeeth with the same team of Kunchacko Boban and Biju Menon, Unni Mukundan’s new offering conceived by debutant Muhsin Parari and Dileep starrer Sreebala K Menon film Love 24×7. The biggest crowd puller of Mollywood is Mohanlal and his film is absent in this season and if there is one that one can be enough to compete with Baahubali.

Mollywood hopes that these flicks will make great impact to beat Baahubali here and make Malayalam cinema the best here. From March last with the success of Oru Vadakkan Selfie and Bhaskar The Rascal, Mollywood is doing good at box office.

Bhaskar The Rascal was one of the biggest hits of this year in Mollywood and it had come from the man of success Mr.Siddique. Siddique had done it again and keep up his record as a director who has 100% success ratio in Mollywood at first with his partner Lal and later independently. Even though his previous two film in Mollywod named Body Guard and Ladies and Gentleman were not big hits, those two were also made profit in box office and later the Kollywood and Bollywood versions of the flick Body Guard made a lot of money at Box office.

In a recent interview Siddique said about the success of Bhaskar The Rascal and his upcoming film King Liar with Dileep and which will be directed by his old partner Lal. Bhaskar was a relief to Mammootty more than anyone as the actor had no big hits for the past 5 years or so and his star value was going down like hell in these 5 years. At last he got a big one thanks to this man named Siddique. Siddique is doing it for Mammootty for the third consecutive time in his career.

The first time was when Mammootty is going through a really bad patch in the mid 90’s and Siddique made Hitler with Mammootty and it had become a big hit as a relief to Mammootty. Then again Mammootty fell in to a bad patch during 1999-2001 period and that time as well Siddique made a film with him titled Chronic Bachelor which was a super success at box office which gave Mammootty his stardom back. Now its Bhaskar that gave him his slipping stardom.

Siddique said that when he told the story of Bhaskar to Mammootty for the first time, the actor was thrilled after hearing it. Even though Mammootty is not keen on doing action scenes these due to age concerns he had given what the character needs in this flick. The action sequences set by Anbarivu, Mafia Sasi was comfortable one for Mammootty and it really worked out well. Siddique said that it was family audience that made this film a big success and had plans to remake it in Hindi, telugu and Tamil as well. Rajinikanth, Ajith, Venkitesh, Akshay Kumar are the front runners to do the character of Bhaskar in different languages.

Remo D’Souza is the director of the flicks named F.A.L.T.U , then ABCD (Anybody Can Dance) and ABCD 2 in Bollywood and he is really on cloud nine after the success of his recent flick ABCD 2 with latest Bollywood sensation Varun Dhawan and Ashique 2 fame Sradha Kapoor in the lead. The flick which released last month got very good response from the audience and moved to a super success at Box office. Now reports says that Remo D’Souza is planning ABCD 3 with the same cast after they have finished their prior commitments. Both Varun Dhawan and Sradha Kapoor is going through a very busy schedule and Remo D’Souza had to wait until they are free to start working in ABCD 3.

Apart from Varun Dhawan (son of director David Dhawan) and Sradha Kapoor (Daughter of actor Shakthi Kapoor), the most celebrated choreographer and dancer in India Mr. Prabhu Deva (who is a well -known film maker himself with big hits to credit in Kollywood and Bollywood) also had done a very important role in ABCD 2. Prabhu Deva was a part of ABCD first part as well along with Ganesh Acharya and Salman Yusuf Khan. Remo D’Souza had also shown his face through these films as well even though he had acted in 2 bollywood films before.

Varun dhawan is currently doing a Rohit Shetty film starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol named Dilwale which is a Christmas release this year. There is also news that the south Indian hit film OK Kanmani by Mani Ratnam will remade to Hindi and Varun Dhawan may be roped in to play the male lead which was actually done by Mollywood actor Dulquer Salmaan in the Tamil version. Report also suggested that Alia Bhatt has also been roped in to play the female lead that OK Kanmani Hindi remake. Varun dhawan and Alia bhatt made their Bollywood debut together with the film produced by Karan Johanr named Student of the year.

Remo D’Souza is currently busy with his film Flying Jat featuring Tiger Sheroff and Jacqualine Fernandez in the lead roles.
