Saranya Mohan all set to say good bye to acting after the wedding

Mollywood actress Saranya Mohan who is also quite popular in Kollywood as well all set to say good bye to her acting career after the marriage just like most of our actresses did in the past. Saranya Mohan had made her debut in silver screen as a child artist in the film named Aniyathipravu starring Kunchacko Boban and Shalini which was conceived by Fazil. Later she had done films like Hari Krishnans which also directed by Fazil, and Rakhtha Sakshikal Zindabad by Venu Nagavally.

She had later done a handful of Tamil films like Orunal Oru Kanavu, Jayam Kondein, Yaradi Nee Mohini, Mahesh, Saranya Matrum Palar, Panchamirtham, A Aa E Ee, Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu, Eeram, Arumugam etc. In some of them she had acted as supporting actress and in some of which she acted as the female lead. She had also nominated for the film fare award for best supporting actress in Tamil for her performance in Yaradi Nee Mohini starring Dhanush and Nayanthara. Later she came back to mollywood with a lead role in the film named Chemistry.

Saranya had done a handful of Telugu films as well and she had acted in Tamil, Telugu and in Mollywood films continuously for some period. She had acted along with Ilaya thapalathy vijay as well in tamil ina film named Velayudham in which she played the role of Vijay’s sister. Last year she acted in a Hindi film as well named Badlapur Boys.

Now she is got engaged to doctor Aravind Krishnan from Trivandrum and the marriage is fixed on this year September 6 at Kottam Kulangara Temple. Saranya said that the engagement was really happened very quickly and it was only a family affair. Saranya said to the media that even though Aravind’s family had no offence in she is continuing with her acting career she want to be a housewife and do not want to spoil that pleasure by continuing as an actress. But she said that she will continue her classical dance and music even after the marriage.

Ramzan releases are on the way to grace the silver screens of Mollywood after other language films like Baahubali had taken away the revenues from here with its big release. The good collection Premam had got was killed by piracy and the film is now running only for the sake of running without much people in theaters. It seems that the flick will soon terminate as well from theaters which promised much more at box office till its third week. Holy Ramzan month and also the rainy season as well prevented more Malayalam releases this season as it always affects the theater collections here.

Ramzan month affects the collection in northern part of Kerala much more specifically, the rain can affect Kerala as a whole though there was not much rain this year if spoke in terms of impact of the climatic changes to Kerala box office. Anyway the first release on this Ramzan festival after the Ramzan fasting is over is seems to be a big one from Mollywood named Acha Dhin starring the Megastar of the town Mr. Mammootty. The flick has been the second directorial venture of the director named G.Marthandan who had given a moderate success with a film named Daivathinte Swantham Cleetus back in 2013 and that too with the same male lead.

Latest update coming in that Acha Dhin will start its screening on Friday from its matinee show onwards in Kerala. In this flick Mammootty is playing the character named Durga Prasad who is actually a native of Jharkhand who is living in Kerala for the past 20 years and he has come here with his wife as well. They were living peacefully and then a grave issue occurs which lead durga Prasad to come forward and solve that issue on his own.

The film is following the path of a thriller as per reports and will be a good treat for the audience in this Ramzan season. The heroine of the flick is a Punjabi model named Mansi Sharma and she plays the role of Mammootty’s wife and has a key part to perform in the story as well.

Mollywood’s Eid releases in confusion as censor board stands negative

Eid releases in Mollywood seems to be in serious confusion an uncertainty as the censor boar took a negative stand in the light of the accusation in the Premam issue which cause much havoc. Censor board has hardened its stand on censoring new films and they said that they want full proof security including CCTV camera security and all that. Board have tightened their stand as there was accusations that the pirate copy of the film had leak out from the censor board itself as the print shows in it the water mark of censor copy.

Anti-Piracy cell and police had made a raid as well in the censor board office and seize the print of the film which had kept there after the censoring process. The law enforcement agencies took such a stand only because censor boar had not willing to co-operate and handover the CD of the film in allotted time to the investigation agency for further investigations.

May be that what made them to take the above mentioned no censoring without much security stand to the upcoming films of Mollywood. Among the Ramzan releases only Mammootty film Acha Dhin conceive by Marthandan has got censored and many films like KL10 Pathu by Muhsin Parari which has Unni Mukundan in the lead and distributed by LJ films of Lal Jose, Popular actor Dileep starrer and Sreebala K Menon directorial flick Love 24×7, and also Sugeeth directorial flick named Madhura Naranga which has Kunchacko Boban, Neeraj Mahav, Parvathi Ratheesh and Biju Menon in the lead. They all set for this Ramzan release but not got censored yet due to the tight stand of the censor board.

Films like Viswasam Athalle Ellam starring Shine Tom Chacko has already postpone its release to July 31 as per reports and films like Double Barrel and Rudra Simhasanam also on its way in the coming weeks even though their releasing dates are not yet announced. As of now our theaters are filled with Baahubali and Premam also playing here and there.

Apart from that in this Ramzan Tamil films like Maari and Vaalu are coming as well along with Bollywood films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan starring Salman Khan. Now it seems that due to this stand of the censor board the ramzan collection form mollywood will be taken away by other language films.

Prithvi say that when he came to the cinema field as an actor he had only 18 years of age and now he is 32. The 14 years had a great impact on him as the experience he got in these 14 years has really had a positive effect on him and helped him to be a matured actor and to be a thorough professional as well.

That change which he had through the experience reflects in each and every action of his as well according to Prithviraj himself. As an actor the change is so natural as he had lived in this industry doing the same thing called acting for 14 years and changes are bound to happen. With each year one gets more and more experience which makes an actor a better one and updated one with his resources. Even though travelling and meeting new people helps an actor to get updated and get better, nothing comes in front of the experience he gets with time as an actor or as in the case of any profession.

Prithviraj is currently busy with Nadirsha project Amar Akabar Antony and he completed films like Anarkkali by Sachi and Vimal directorial flick Ennu Ninte Moideen. The next release of him is on this eid which is Double Barrel by Lijo Jose Pellissery.

Baahubali is moving like a high speed missile through the box office breaking down all the existing records and yesterday the flick had entered in the 200 crore club as well. According to the sources the film had completed 200 crore rupees yesterday and went way beyond that as well. By this figure it had broke the record of Aamir Khan starrer PK record of fastest to reach in 200 crore club as well. PK had took 6 days to enter in to the 200 crore club and Baahubali did it in just 4 days very smoothly. The hindi dubbed version of the flick had made above 22 crore from 4 days as well which is quite incredible for a dubbed version.

In USA and Canada the flick has been doing astonishing business and according to reports the film had already raked in 27 crore rupees from USA alone from its 4 days of theatrical run there. The flick has been consistently doing 50 crore business minimum a day at box office and yesterday was no different. Yesterday also it had made above 50 crore rupees worldwide and increased its total gross collection above 200 crore rupees. Trade guides also says that the flick has reached close to 250 crore worldwide collection as well and the total net collection is close to 220 crore as well after the reduction of Tax.

The flick had broke Sharukh Khan starrer Happy New Year’s record of the fastest in to the 100 crore club by reaching there within 40 hours of its release and now it had broke Aamir Khan starrer PK ‘s record of fastest to reach 200 crore club just within 4 days as we said above. The going is great and it can do a business up to 400 crore by next week if the going is this good till Sunday.

The collection can drop as well because the much awaited film starred by Salman Khan named Bajrangi Bhaijan is releasing on this Eid this week. But bahubali can do a great business even before that and can break another few records as well.

G Venugopal blasted Premam in his Facebook status

Premam had emerge as the third highest grossing film ever in Mollywood history before it has trapped in the curse of pirate copy that is carving Mollywood to death. That issue was the talking point all over the social media for last few weeks and it has now been changed to the magnum opus Baahubali. But the bad time is still following the film as many people are coming out against the film and the latest one among that list of people is popular Mollywood playback singer G Venugopal.

G Venugopal who is one of the best playback singers in Mollywood who had sung many hit songs for many classic films and in the music direction of many great music directors said in his Facebook post that he had really exhausted after watching the film Premam and that too with his wife Reshmi, his daughter who is of 15 years old and one of his daughter’s friend also with them to watch the film. Venugopal says that Premam nothing but a useless film which had nothing to celebrate about.

Venugopal said that he had seen lots of films in life. He enjoyed many of them, kept some films in his heart, hate some films, admired film makers ranging from Late Vincent, Sethu Madhavan, PN Menon, Aravindan, K G George, Bharathan, Padmarajan, Sathayn Anthikkad, Sreenivasan and also film makers like Shaji Kailas. He said he even likes so called new generation film makers like Amal Nerad, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Sameer Thahir etc and respects them too. He is keeping many legendary actors close to his heart as well for many years.

Venugopal says that he still don’t know why this film Premam is celebrated so much as he as a spectators found nothing in it and he really felt a dilemma to whether laugh or cry while watching the flick. Venugopal also wonder as this may be a symptom of getting old as well or not. Venugopal in his comments in that post approves that the background scoring of the film have to be appreciate but a good than can be under-noticed among a bunch of bad things.

It seems like all the existing box office records in Indian cinema history most of which is holding by the Bollywood films is in grave danger as SS Rajamouli directorial gigantic film Baahubali is going in unstoppable speed through box office gross collections breaking records after records. From the latest analysis of different trade guides in our industry the official gross collection made by Baahubali has crossed rupees 160 crores.

It had released in 4000 screens in India an also many a number of theaters outside india as well. It had made simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil language and dubbed in Hindi and Malayalam as well. Revenue from the hindi dubbed version on its very first day itself was record collection for any Hindi dubbed version in Indian cinema.

The distributor of Hindi dubbed version of the film is Karan Johar who is a popular film maker in Bollywood and the owner of Dharma Productions as well said that it was a record breaker in all sense. The flick had broke the record of the highest first day collection ever and set a new milestone by collecting more than 50 crore rupees on its very first day from above mentioned different language versions. It has been doing great not only in India but also in overseas market as well an in places like USA and Canada it has been doing terrific business from its very first day itself.

The flick has got above 22 crore rupees from USA alone from its 3 days of run and it has been still going strong there. The highest grossing Bollywood films are Aamir Khan starrer flicks PK and Dhoom 3 which grossed above 600 crores and 500 crores respectively from its worldwide market and becoming the highest grossing films ever made in India. Then this epic flick Baahubali is going in such a pace that it will be real threat to those above mentioned Bollywood films and there is every chance that Baahubali may overtake those films in quick time.

This Prabhas starrer flick has a budget of almost 250 crore rupees that made it the biggest film ever made in India and the fate just seems reserved a spot for it on the top as well.
