Nivin Pauly-Nayanthara starrer Love Action Drama release date announced

It has been a while since Dhyan Sreenivasan’s ‘Love Action Drama’ (LAD) got announced. Shoot for the movie got delayed on several occasions due to the lead actors’ date issues. Nivin Pauly and Nayanthara play the lead roles in the movie. Shoot is currently progressing at a brisk pace. As per trustworthy reports, LAD will be hitting screens on September 5 during the Onam season.

‘Love Action Drama’ is an interesting film for many reasons. It is the first time that Nivin Pauly and Nayanthara are coming together, so movie lovers are looking forward to watch their on-screen chemistry. The movie scripted by Dhyan is apparently a modern day take on the yesteryear hit film ‘Vadakkunokkiyanthram’, directed by his father Sreenivasan. As a shout-out to that film, the lead characters in LAD are also named as Dineshan and Shobha.

According to the makers, LAD is a proper rom-com. Nayanthara plays a Palakkad Brahmin girl while Nivin is someone who belongs to a rich family. His character is a trouble maker of sorts and runs their family business. The movie traces the lives of these two people. Nivin Pauly’s character will have a few similarities to Dineshan of ‘Vadakkunokkiyanthram’, but there will be no other resemblance. Aju Varghese, Urvashi, Dhanya Balakrishnan, Sreenivasan and Jude Anthany Joseph are also part of the supporting cast.

Jomon T John is the cinematographer and Shaan Rahman is handling the music department. Aju Varghese is venturing into production by funding this movie jointly with Vishak Subramaniam under the banner of Funtastic Films.
