Lucifer is the most attractive script that I’ve got in my career: Vivek Oberoi

Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi is making his Hindi debut with Lucifer, the upcoming Mohanlal starrer, which marks the directorial debut of actor Prithviraj. The movie scripted by Murali Gopy is a political thriller. Vivek is said to be playing the antagonist in the movie. The actor believes that Lucifer is the most attractive script that he has got so far in his 16-year-long career.

Though he is having a tough time learning the dialogues, Vivek says he is enjoying the process. He was offered projects in Malayalam earlier also but he didn’t find them interesting. After hearing Lucifer’s script over phone, Vivek immediately agreed to be part of it. And Mohanlal’s presence was another major attraction. The two had earlier acted together in Ram Gopal Varma’s Company.

About his character in Lucifer, Vivek had earlier said, “It is a very exciting project and I don’t know whether I will get a role like this in Hindi. I can say that as an actor, Prithvi has pushed me to a point where it is challenging and exciting to play it. I don’t think I have played a character of this sort in my entire career. It’s a character with many layers of grey and is a crazy experience.”

Besides Mohanlal and Vivek, Lucifer also has some other stars like Indrajith, Tovino Thomas and Manju Warrier in major roles. Antony Perumbavoor is producing the movie under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas.
