The Family Man Season 2: Samantha thanks action choreographer Yannick Ben for pushing her to perform all the stunts on her own
The second season of ‘The Family Man’ is getting rave reviews. Samantha’s performance as the antagonist has been unanimously praised. She plays a character named Raji, a trained Tamil rebel fighter. It is a complex character that is anything unlike what the actress has done before. But Samantha has internalised the character incredibly well and delivers a top-notch performance. She has done several breath-taking stunts in the film.
In her latest Instagram post, Samantha has shared videos of her training in stunts prior to the shoot. She also thanked Yannick Ben, the show’s stunt coordinator for pushing her to give her best. The note reads,
A special special thankyouuuu to my person @yannickben đ€đ for training me to do all of my own stunts (yes all of them ).. for pushing me to give it my all even when every part of my body ached (thanks for the pain killers by the way ) ..
I have a solid fear of heights but I jumped off that building only because I knew you had my back .. lots and lots of love @yannickben #familymanseason2

‘The Family Man’, conceived by Raj & DK, is centred around a middle-class man, secretly working for the TASC branch of National Investigation Agency. It is centred around the challenges he faces in his personal and professional life. Manoj Bajpayee plays the lead character, Srikanth Tiwari, and Priya Mani essays his wife’s role.
Coming to the second season, Tiwari has quit TASC and is unhappily employed at a corporate firm. The conflict begins with the coalition between Tamil liberals and IS who plan a major attack in India. Samantha’s Raji leads the attack. How Srikanth returns back to the agency and tackles down the threat forms the rest of the plot. The second season is written by Suman Kumar, Raj & DK. The latter duo has also directed the season along with Suparn S Varma.
