Asianet Film Awards 2016 had been took place at Angamaly Adlex Convention center on 7th February 2016. The grand award ceremony was attended by Mollywood’s Universal Star Mohanlal, Young Super Star Prithviraj, South Indian super star Chiyaan Vikram, Nivin Pauly, Pranav Mohanlal, Suchithra Mohanlal, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Parvathi, Trisha, Sai Pallavi, Aju Varghese, Neeraj Madhav, Supriya Prithviraj, Sibi Malayil, Kamal, Sai Kumar, Manoj K Jayan, Biju Menon, Yesudas, Anusree, Shivada, Reenu Mathews, Parvathy Ratheesh, Rachana Narayanankutti,  and many more celebrities all over from South India. Prithviraj won the best actor Award for Ennu Ninte Moideen. Mohanlal was chosen as the Millenium star as well. Parvathy was selected as the best actress award as well.
