Pullikkaran Staraa writer’s next is a suspense thriller starring Tovino in the lead!
Tovino Thomas currently has a long list of projects lined up in his kitty. Latest to the list is a suspense thriller directed by debutant Anuraj Manohar, a former associate of Lijo Jose Pellissery. This yet to be titled movie is being scripted by Ratheesh Ravi, who has also written Mammootty’s upcoming movie Pullikkaran Staraa.
Tovino’s character in this upcoming movie is something he has not played before. He will be seen as a native youngster who has lived all his life in a remote village. He is someone who is attached to his native place, temple and their regional club activities. Certain circumstances land him in Kochi and the core plot evolves from there. The movie will have elements of suspense while also exploring the life stark contrast in the life in an urban area and a village.
The movie’s titled is expected to be announced on Onam day. E4 Experiments is producing this movie. They are planning to start shooting by February next year. Meanwhile, Tovino is busy shooting for the third schedule of Aashiq Abu’s Maayanadhi. He is also awaiting the release of Abiyude Kadha Anuvinteyum, a Tamil-Malayalam bilingual movie. This romantic entertainer directed by BR Vijayalakshmi is slated to hit screens by September end.
