Biju Menon to team up with Lal Jose next
2018 was not a great year for Biju Menon as only ‘Padayottam’ out of his four releases managed to grab attention. This year, he has committed for some interesting films with directors G Prajith, Nadirshah, Jibu Jacob and Basil Joseph. As per our sources within the industry, the actor has signed for a new film with veteran director Lal Jose. Debutant writer PG Prageesh is scripting the movie. An official announcement with details regarding the cast and crew is expected to be made shortly.
Biju Menon’s next release will be ‘Sathyam Paranja Vishwasikuvo’, directed by Prajith of ‘Oru Vadakkan Selfie’ fame. The movie is scripted by National award winner Sajeev Pazhoor, who penned the widely acclaimed ‘Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum’ (TD). Biju Menon plays a mason in the film, which also marks the comeback of actress Samvrutha Sunil.
Another Biju Menon film that is currently on the floors is ‘Mera Naam Shaji’ directed by Nadirshah. The movie has him playing one of the leads along with Asif Ali and Baiju. Later this year, the actor will also be reuniting with his ‘Vellimoonga’ director Jibu Jacob for a movie titled ‘Adhyarathri’.
