Pathonpathaam Noottandu will be a theatrical release, confirms Vinayan
Director Vinayan’s ‘Pathonpathaam Noottandu’ is currently in the editing stage. The team still has to shoot the climax portions but they are waiting for the Covid-induced restrictions to be lifted. In a recent Facebook post, the director confirmed that the film has designed for a big screen experience and it will only be released in theatres no matter how long it takes. He also added that filmmakers should not forget that it is the reception in theaters that play a big role in attaining stardom and popularity.
‘Pathonpathaam Noottandu’ is an epic-period film set in the 19th century. Siju Wilson plays the lead role of Arattupuzha Velayudha Panicker, a brave Ezhava chieftain who lived in the 19th century. The film tells the untold story of Panicker, who was the first martyr of the Kerala Renaissance movement.
Along with him, the film has a huge ensemble of actors. Chemban Vinod will be seen playing the role of Kayamkulam Kochunni. Kayadu Lohar, Anoop Menon, Deepti Sati, Sudheer Karamana, Suresh Krishna, Sudev Nair, Sreejith Ravi, Jaffer Idukki, Senthil Krishna, Bibin George, Indrans, Poonam Bajwa, Madhuri Braganza and many others are part of the supporting cast.
Gokulam Gopalan is producing this big-budget film.
