Oppam becomes the 3rd highest grosser after Pulimurugan and Drishyam
Oppam, the Mohanlal starrer which released on the 8th September this year, as an Onam release in Mollywood had become one of the all-time blockbusters in Malayalam cinema history.
The film had got highly positive reviews from all around from the very first show itself and it was indeed a great come back from director Priyadarshan who has been going through a bad patch for the last few years.
As per the latest collection report from trade guides from our industry, the film had crossed 41.5 crore in its 60 days from Kerala and by now it would have crossed 42 crore from Kerala alone.
Thus, Oppam had surpassed the figures of Premam, Ennu Ninte Moideen etc and become the 3rd highest grosser ever in Malayalam cinema history.

The film had done great in its overseas market as well and the worldwide collection of the movie will touch 60 crore mark very.
Now, the top 3 highest grossers from Kerala is Pulimurugan, Drishyam and Oppam and Mohanlal dominating the list like a boss. He now had 3 movies in 50 crore club of Mollywood and all these 3 movies in the 60 crore club as well.
Pulimurugan had went on to become the movie which had done 100 crore business for the first time ever in Mollywood as well and by this weekend, it will surpass 100 crore from theater collection alone.
