Action against me would not have been initiated without the knowledge of Mohanlal: Vinayan

Director has come out hard against the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA), Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA). After the Competition Commission of India (CCI) asked AMMA, FEFKA and two of their subsidiary organisations, to pay a fine to the tune of Rs 11.25 lakh, Vinayan had asked the office bearers of these organizations to step down.

He asked AMMA president and Lok Sabha MP Innocent and FEFKA heads B Unnikrishnan and Sibi Malayil to resign from their positions. He also alleged that actions against him would not have been initiated by secretary Idavela Babu without the knowledge of Mohanlal, the general secretary of AMMA.
