Anjali Menon’s Prithviraj starrer was initially planned for Dulquer
As we had reported earlier Anjali Menon is all set to direct Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead for her next. An official confirmation regarding the same is awaited soon.
Both had earlier worked together when Anjali had stepped her first foot in the industry through Manjadikuru. Prithviraj was seen in a cameo role in the flick, which had received a handful of accolades.
It is now reported that this same script was earlier planned to be made a cinema with Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role. The lady director was earlier reported to be penning a romantic flick for actor Prathap Pothen who wished to turn a director. Both of them had Dulquer Salmaan in their minds as the scriptwork progressed but unfortunately had dropped the project.
Anjali Menon’s earlier works were Manjadikuru, Ustad Hotel and Bangalore Days. Ustad Hotel which was penned by Anjali had won the National award for best popular film earlier.
