Dulquer Salmaan’s next in Hindi titled as Chup
We had earlier reported about Dulquer Salmaan doing a new Hindi film with director R Balki. The film also stars Pooja Bhatt, ‘Scam 1992’ fame Shreya Dhanwanthary and Sunny Deol in major roles. Last day, on the occasion of the death anniversary of legendary actor Guru Dutt, the makers announced the film’s title as ‘Chup: The Revenge of an Artist’. As per the makers, the film is an ode to Guru Dutt.

‘Chup’ is a psychological thriller that is scripted by Balki along with Rishi Virmani and Raja Sen. Balki is known for helming National award winning films like ‘Paa’ and ‘Padman’. With ‘Chup’, he is attempting a psychological thriller for the first time.
Amit Trivedi handles the film’s music department. PC Sreeram, the DOP of Balki’s earlier films, was retained for this one as well but he later opted out due to unknown reasons. Vishal Sinha is the cinematographer now.
‘Chup’ is being co-produced by Hope Productions and Rakesh Jhunjhunwala.
