Carbon was released outside Kerala in centers like Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Ahmedabad, Pune, Lucknow, Goa etc. The overflow of positive reviews in various social media platforms and Fahadh Faasil’s popularity among the cinephiles is doing wonders for Carbon at the rest of india (RoI) box office.

Many have showered praise on Venu’s skilled direction and Fahadh’s stunning performance. As the ambitious Sibi, who has his ways to make it big, Fahadh has given one of his career best performances. A Facebook user has perfectly put it, “Fahadh continues to demonstrate why he is ahead of most of his peers in the country right now.

Venu has scripted the movie with several layers in it. Unlike the olden days, spoon-feeding is consciously avoided and instead many scenes are left to the audience’s perception. Technically also Carbon is a rich film with some quality visuals and intriguing music. The movie has its cinematography by KU Mohanan and music by Bollywood composer-filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj. Been Paul has handled the edits.

Carbon’s supporting cast includes a bunch of talented actors like Soubin Shahir, Sharafudheen, Manikandan Achari, Dileesh Pothan, Nedumudi Venu, Vijayaraghavan, Kochu Preman and Guppy fame Master Chetan Lal among others. The movie is jointly funded by Sibi Thottapuram and Navis Xaviou under the banner of Poetry Film House.
