“It’s a great fortune for any actor to be part of a Mohanlal movie”, says Telugu actor Srikanth

Telugu actor Srikanth is making his Mollywood debut through Mohanlal’s upcoming movie Villain. Srikanth is a veteran in Telugu industry having acted in more than 100 movies. Unlike most Telugu actors, Srikanth is known to be a very natural performer.

Tollywood industry demands over the top acting, as their movies are mostly masala oriented where actors tend to be over- dramatic. But Srikanth is quite different and that is the reason why director B Unnikrishnan roped him for Villain.

Srikanth in a recent interview opened up about his experience working in Villain. Even after being such a seasoned actor, he finds it tough while acting in Villain, the reason being Mohanlal’s presence. Srikanth has a lot of respect for Mohanlal and he admits that was the main reason why he committed for the project. He feels it’s a great fortune for any actor to share screen space with Mohanlal.

Though the actor remained tight lipped about his character in the movie, it is speculated that he is playing a negative role. Apart from him, Villain also stars Tamil actor Vishal, Hansika Motwani, Raashi Khanna and Manju Warrier in pivotal roles. Mohanlal is essaying the role of Mathew Manjooran, an ex-cop in this crime thriller.
