Dulquer Salmaan is now one of the most popular young stars here in Kerala. Within 5 year time from his debut here, he become one of the most followed young star in Mollywood and he even got huge number of followers from other South Indian states as well. When he made his debut through Sreenath Rajendran movie named Second Show no one really thought that he will go miles from there. Because, even though his movies were done well at box office owes to the support from fans, he not really impressed the critics with his acting skills.

But with movies like Ok Kanmani by Mani Ratnam, Charlie by Martin Prakatt, Kammatipaadam by Rajeev Ravi etc, he really made the critics to appreciate him and they all now agrees that this man have the potential in him to take Malayalam cinema forward.

He had won his first State award as well for the best actor through his performance in Charlie and his performance in Kammatipaadam also gave him great appreciation from all around India this year. Remo is the upcoming Tamil film starring Sivakarthikeyan and directed by Bhagyaraj Kannan. This movie produced by RD Raja under the banner of 24AM Studios made to the news headlines with Sivakarthikeyan’s female getup in the movie. Sivakarthikeyan is performing as a nurse in this movie and his female getup for that is already went viral in social media.

The theme of the movie was actually told to Sivakarthikeyan by Atlee, director of Raja Rani and Theri. At first, when he was approached by Bhagyaraj Kannan, the assistant of Atlee, with this project, he was reluctant to do this character as he believed that he can’t pull off the female act in it. But the director had pursued him for almost 10 months and convinced him that he can pull off this and that’s how Sivakarthikeyan comes in to this project. He said it was the most challenging thing in his life as he had to spend hours for makeup, to become a female and later enact as a female on screen.

The making video of the movie which shows his preparations to play the female character went viral in social Media. The posters of the film also made great impact. This is a complete entertainer with all elements like comedy, romance, songs, action etc and it will hit the screens on this coming October 7.

Keerthy Suresh is playing the female lead in this movie in which Sivakarthikeyan is playing a young man as well. There are reports that he is also coming in an old man getup in the flick.

Last year, the Aamir Khan starred movie named PK had become the record grosser in China when it comes to the Indian movies which releases there. Now, Baahubali too repeating the same there as it had got grand reception from there. Baahubali had released in China on July 22 and it had got 6000 screens there. As per reports, the film had opened well there by amassing positive response and it had got more than 0.63 Million Dollars from there as of now.

Aamir Khan’s movies always gets great reception at China and his movies like 3 idiots, Dhoom 3, and PK had done great there. Now, Baahubali making an impact there means, South Indian films too getting good response from Chinese market.

Baahubali had got the 9th position in the top 10 movies list in the Chinese Box office now and that is a tremendous achievement. Even though it may be difficult for it to surpass the collection got by PK from there, it will surely make a great impact there. Baahubali had made history in Indian cinema by collecting 600 crores from its worldwide run and become the 3rd biggest grosser in Indian Cinema history. The film had released in last year July. This S S Rajamauli movie will have a sequel as well which will hit the screens next year.

Two days back a Telugu website reported that Koratala Siva, the Janata Garage director is upset with Mohanlal’s Telugu dubbing for the movie and he is in a dilemma to find somebody who can dub in Telugu for Mohanlal’s sequences in the movie. The website reported that Mohanlal’s Telugu modulation, pronunciation etc were not at all good and the team behind the movie is facing a crisis now. Today some Malayalam media as well reported the same.

But when we Onlookers Media contacted the official team of Janata Garage to know about what really happened there, we know that what is spreading now against Mohanlal is all fake news. The team behind the film told us that the dubbing of Mohanlal’s portion not even started and it will start only after the second week of August. He had only given his sound for a Malayalam dialogue for the Malayalam teaser of the movie which released few weeks back. It is very strange that even before an artist starts his dubbing, a report comes that his dubbing is not right and the director is upset with that.

Now it is all clear that fake news is spreading against Mohanlal with definite plans to defame him. Some says that Telugu site doing this in order to pull down the increasing popularity of Mohanlal in Tollywood. With the release of Manamantha and Janata Garage, Mohanlal is all set to make his own market there and some people don’t want that, it seems. Years before, they had banned Suresh Gopi movies there fearing his rising stardom there. Even Tamil films did not get great number of screens there except some areas. Now it is happening against Mohanlal.

Anyway the official confirmation had come that Mohanlal is not started his dubbing yet for Janata Garage and it will only start after the mid August. All news that is spreading against him now related to this dubbing issue is fake ones and don’t spread it.

The first edition of the NAFA (North American Film Awards) has been conducted on 24th July, 5 PM at Tilles Performing Arts Centre in New York. Dulquer Salmaan-Martin Prakkat movie Charlie had got many a number of awards with Ennu Ninte Moideen. Dulquer Salmaan who was present at the award ceremony had just sizzled in the show along with Gopi Sundar, Vijay Yesudas, Parvathy etc.

Dulquer Salmaan had shared the stills from that grand function in his official Facebook page and said that it was an awesome evening. He really enjoyed his time there and thanked everyone for coming there and supported them. NAFA awards has been presented by Freedia Entertainments.

Dulquer Salmaan won the best actor award for his performance as Charlie in Charlie and Parvathy had won the best actress award for her performance as Tessa in Charlie and Kanchanamala in Ennu Ninte Moideen. Martin Prakatt had won the best director award for the film Charlie and he shared the award for best screenplay with Unni R as well for the screenplay of Charlie.

Even though it is not a confirmed news, a report is coming in which says that the Super Star Mohanlal is all set to join hands with master director from Kollywood, Gautham Vasudev Menon for an upcoming movie. The screenplay of this movie will be written by Ashwin Mathew, who is a popular actor here in Mollywood. He had acted in Bollywood movie English Vinglish as well.

Earlier there were reports that Kollywood director AR Murugadoss may direct this movie. But now reports says that Gautham Menon may be roped in to direct this Mohanlal-Ashwin Mathew project.

Ashwin Mathew had posted a photo with Gautham Vasudev Menon on his Facebook page and said that all will be revealed soon about the Mohanlal-Gautham Menon project. Gautham Menon is a great Mohanlal admirer and he always said that, to do a movie with his favorite actor is a dream for him. In 2011, he said that he is planning a movie with Mohanlal in the lead. But that does not happened as the project not really took off from the initial stages.

Mohanlal is busy with lots of projects now and as per reports, he has more than 25 projects in his kitty from various languages. Gautham Menon also busy with his project like Ennai Nokki Paayum Thottai with Dhanush and as per reports he will do a trilingual movie as well in which Prithvi Raj Sukumaran will play a key role along with stars from Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.

If the reports coming in are to be believed, then Mega Star Mammootty may play the lead in next movie directed by Omar, who had directed the super hit movie of this year, named Happy Wedding. As per reports, Omar is all set to start his next venture and Mammootty had agreed to hear the story of this movie. The team behind the project is highly confident that the mega star will be impressed with the screenplay and will give his node to start the project.

As per reports Mammootty will play a goonda in this movie which will be a Kochi based comedy flick. The project is only in its planning stage now and the official confirmation will come only after their meeting with Mammootty.

This small movie from a group of comparatively fresh faces from Mollywood had released along with biggies like Dulquer Salmaan starrer movie Kammatipaadam and Jayaram starrer flick Aadu Puliyattam. But this small film made it big here in Kerala and the flick directed debutant Omar had really showed a fantastic performance at box office here.

As per reports, this low budget movie which is distributed here by Eros International, had got close to 9 crores from Kerala. The movie had made a comeback to many screens here as well after got removed earlier for the newly released flicks. This is indeed a sensational success for this small movie.
