The much awaited movie of the year, Super Star Rajinikant starrer Kabali will hit the screens tomorrow all over the world and it will be screening in 60 different countries worldwide. The movie has got 5000+ screens all over which is an all time record for Tamil Cinema. In Kerala too the flick had created history by getting record number of screens.

The Kerala theatre list had arrived and it is a whopping 306 screens here in Kerala. The film will have 2000 shows on its opening day here and expected to set a new opening day gross collection record. Almost all shows of Kabali at multiplexes here were sold out and will set a new history in multiplexes too. No movies ever got more than 220 screens from Kerala before. No Rajinikant movie ever got 200+ screens here before as well. Now all that has been changed and the most important and powerful factor behind this is Mollywood Super Star Mohanlal and his production house named Aashirvad Cinemas.

Mohanlal and his partner in production and distribution, Antony Perumbavoor had took up the deal to distribute Kabali here in Kerala and they had done it in an awesome manner. Once again Aashirvad Cinemas proved without any doubt that it is the biggest and strongest production and distribution Company here in Kerala and the ever increasing impact of Mohanlal here in Kerala played a key role in it as well.

The previous best in terms of the number of screens got in Kerala was by Shankar-Vikram movie I, which got 220 screens here last year.

The film is all set to hit the screens on September 2 this year and it will release in Mollywood as well.

Unni Mukundan is playing a negative character in the movie and he is playing the son of Mohanlal’s character. Unni Mukundan announced through his Facebook page that he had successfully completed the dubbing of his first Telugu movie and along with that he had announced his next project in Tollywood as well. In this upcoming project named Bhagmati, he will play the hero of Anushka Shetty.

The film is produced by UV Creations and it will be directed by G Ashok. Apart from Unni Mukundan, popular Mollywood actor Jayaram is also playing an important role in this movie and reports are coming in that he will play the villain in this thriller movie. Aadhi Pinisetty is the other artist who is playing an important character along with the above mentioned three.

Unni Mukundan is now quite popular there in Telugu and the fight sequence of his from the Malayalam movie Style has been uploaded online by his Telugu Followers got more than 20 lakhs views in YouTube.

Mollywood is going to witness some big releases from now on. From this month last, movies will start releasing almost in every week here and all those films will be much anticipated ones as well. On July 29, 3 movies will hit the screens here in Mollywood. White, Starring Mammootty which is directed by Uday Ananthan and Guppy Starring Tovino Thomas directed by debutant John Paul George are the major releases on that day. Another movie named Kismat also hitting screens on July 29.

On August 5th also, 3 movies will hit the screens here. One is Mohanlal-Chandrasekhar Yeleti bilingual movie named Vismayam and another big one will be Midhun Manuel Thomas directorial movie Ann Maria Kalippilanu starred by Sunny Wayne and Dulquer Salmaan. Biju Menon-VK Prakash movie named Marubhoomiyile Aana will also come to the theaters on that day.

August 12 will witness two Jayasurya movies releasing together. One will be Renjith Shankar movie named Pretham and the other will be Sajid Yahiya’s debut venture named Idi-Inspector Davood Ibrahim. Pretham is coming from Jayasurya’s own production house and Idi will be distributed by Eros International.

Kabali to hit 300 screens here in Kerala

Earlier it was reported that Rajinikanth starrer Kabali will release here in Kerala in almost 250 screens. The film is distributing here on July 22 by Super Star Mohanlal and Antony Perumbavoor under their production and distribution banners named Aashirvad Cinemas and Maxlab.

Now, as per the latest report, the Super Star Rajinikanth movie will hit 300 screens here in Kerala and the first show will start at 5 AM in the morning. Antony Perumbavoor, the Co-Owner of Aashirvad Cinemas, said that the film will have 300 screens here and will have more than 1500 shows on its day 1 itself.

In Tamil Nadu, almost all the shows in the first week is sold out and people from Tamil Nadu is now coming to Kerala to watch this movie in its opening days itself. That is why the screen count has been increased here along with increased number of shows.

Most of the tickets were sold out here as well through reservation and Antony Perumbavoor said that only people with tickets in their hand will be allowed to enter the theatre compound. He also said that service of police will be used to control the crowd and avoid road block in front of the cinema halls.

Pa Ranjith had helmed this gangster movie which will hit 5000+ screens all over and will speak multiple languages including Malay, Chinese, Japanese etc.

A Chennai based company had booked a cinema hall itself and provided free tickets to its employees for watching the Super Star movie.

There were reports that huge number of leave applications were submitted by the employees working in different private companies and the number of applications asking for Sick leaves are too high. So, many private companies had declared holiday on that day and they call it as Kabali Bonus for their employees. The release of a Rajinikanth movie is just like a celebration in the whole South India. So they decided to give holiday to allow people to celebrate on that day.

The film is bankrolled by Kalaipuli S Thanu and it is made using a budget of 110 crores as per reports coming in. The flick will hit a record number of 5000+ screens all over and will screen in 60 different countries as well.

Fans of Rajinikanth and fans of Mohanlal joined hands at many places to conduct the fans shows and organize celebrations. Super Star Mohanlal is distributing the movie here through his production and distribution company named Aashirvad Cinemas and Maxlab. The fans of the biggest star here is going all out to promote this Rajinikanth film as well.

But along with that some nice things too happening there at Thalassery.
