Oozham first look poster ruling social media and going viral all around Kerala

The first look poster of Prithviraj starrer movie Oozham had released today morning and from the time of its release, the first look poster is trending all over Kerala and in social media platforms as well. This is a much awaited movie coming from master director Jeethu Joseph who had scripted it as well.

The film is said to be the Onam release of this year for Prithviraj and it is touted as a revenge thriller with the tagline, “It’s just a matter of time”. This will be the second outing of Jeethu Joseph with Prithviraj in the lead and the first one was Memories which hit the screens in 2013 Onam season.

Jeethu Joseph had directed Drishyam, the biggest ever success in Mollywood with Mohanlal and Life Josootty with Dileep after Memories in Malayalam. He had also remade Drishyam to Tamil with Kamalahasan in the lead and that movie was titled Papanasham.

This film Oozham has artists like Divya Pillai, Neeraj Madhav, Balachandra Menon etc in its cast list and Divya Pillai playing the heroine in this movie. She had earlier acted with Fahad Fazil in Ayal Njanalla directed by Vineeth Kumar. The teaser of this film will release on the 7th of July and the expectation level is going high as each day passes.

Mammootty explains why he decided to act in Kasaba

Megastar Mammootty’s upcoming film Kasaba is all set to grace the screens here in Mollywood on the auspicious day of Eid in this July. Debutant film aker Nithin Renji Panicker has scripted and conceived this movie and it is produced by Alice George under the banner of Goodwill Entertainments. The posters and teaser of the film had went viral in social media thanks largely to the trolls that created by troll pages in social media aimed at it.

Director Nithin Renji Panicker says that it helped the film to get great promotion among the film lovers. Meanwhile Mammootty has opened his mind about Kasaba and he explains why he decided to act in Kasaba, to the media.

Mammootty said that the character in this film is very different from all cop characters he played in his career. Circle Inspector Rajan Zakariah has his own mannerisms and unique style in everything he does. That is what attracted him.

Mammootty also said that he chose to act in this film directed by Nithin, not because he is the son of Renji Panicker. But, because he has his own view and style of narrating a story which is entirely different from his father’s style. He had all the answers for Mammootty’s questions when the star asked doubts after hearing the screenplay. He corrected all mistakes pointed out by Mammootty and come up with a clean script.

Mammootty is pretty much impressed by Nithin Renji Panicker’s making of the film and the star said that Nithin Renji Panicker had done a fine job.

The first look poster the film had released today and getting great response from Film lovers. The makers also announced that the first teaser of the film will release on July 7. As per the reports coming now, it will hit the screens in this coming September as an Onam release of Prithviraj. Their previous association named Memories was also an Onam release.

Ayoob Khan is the editor and Jeethu Joseph’s wife Linta Jeethu is the costume designer.

Central Pictures will distribute this movie in theatres and the film is produced by G George and Anto Padinjarekkara.

Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, the daughter of popular Tamil movie actor Sarath Kumar is making her Malayalam debut through Mammootty starrer movie Kasaba directed by Nithin Renji Panicker, a debutant. The film will hit the screens on July 6 or 7 as per reports. The promotional events are on full swing for the movie and Varalakshmi Sarathkumar also came here to be active in the promotion of her first Malayalam movie.

She said during such an event that when she first met Mammootty, she felt like vomiting out of fear. She was really scared to see such a great actor in front of her and the thought of sharing screen space with him really scared her at first. Mammootty also came in a rough and tough look for the movie. But later when they came close, she understood that he is a cool person.

The second part of the film is now in its making stage and will hit the screens in 2017 April as per reports. The first part had released in last year July 8 and now the film is celebrating the first anniversary of its release.

As a part of that celebration, Baahubali is re-releasing in Kerala in this July and Global United Media which distributed the film here last year, will once again release the film here in selected screens. Eid Celebration is about to begin in Kerala from next week and Baahubali is coming again to be a part of that celebration.
