Global United Media filed case against a local Facebook page for uploading Kammattipadam pirated print !

Piracy issue already affected Malayalam Cinema industry a lot and it is still going strong. Few days back Jayaram film Aadu Puliyattam’s pirated print had come on internet and the producers are all set to file a complaint against the local sites and Facebook pages that uploaded the print online.

Now another film faced the same threat. It’s the film named Kammattipadam directed by Rajeev Ravi and starred by Dulquer Salmaan. The pirated print of the film had uploaded online by a Facebook page named Balcony Pictures Entertainment. Global United Media, the producers of the film had filed a case against this Facebook page in the Anti-Piracy cell in Kerala.

Balcony Pictures Entertainment had uploaded the pirated print of the movie Kammattipadam by different parts and they urged people to download the film through their posts as well. The film is still running in screens here in Kerala. They had also uploaded Dulquer Salmaan movie Kali in their Facebook page as well. The DVD of Kali released only today and they had uploaded the print of the movie many hours before.

Anyway if this trend goes forward, then it will kill Malayalam cinema for sure and we have to act against in whatever way to stop this and save Malayalam Cinema.

He took that selfie while they were at Hyderabad for the 63rd Britannia Filmfare Awards. Vikram had won the best actor award from Tamil, for the year 2105. His performance in the Shankar directorial film ‘I’ had won him the award.

Dhanush posted that selfie with the caption “With the best actors in the nation. Proud, Happy, To have been in the same era as Chiyaan and Nivin”. The selfie with this caption is going viral now in social media. The selfie had got great attention from Mollywood because it is a proud moment of each and every Malayali.

Aadu Puliyattam directed by Kannan Thamakkulam and starred by popular actor Jayaram is running successfully all over Kerala now and with this film, Jayaram managed to get a box office success after some years here in Mollywood. The horror thriller written by Dinesh Pallathu had attracted family audience and collected around 8 crores from Kerala alone as per latest reports from trade guides.

But as usual, this film as well facing the issue of video piracy as the pirated print of the movie had already uploaded on internet by some local sites and some Facebook pages. The producers of this film is all set to fight against this issue as they are going to file compliant in cyber cell wing of Kerala Police against those sites and Facebook pages which uploaded the pirated print of Aadu Puliyattam.

Haseeb Haneef and Noushad Alathur had bankrolled this movie under their production banner named Grande Film Corporation. The film is getting attention for its technical brilliance and also for the performances from artists like Jayaram, Ramya Krishnan and Baby Akshara Kishore.

This movie has been moving to its 50th day at Kerala Box office and the team behind the film is getting ready for a success party as well. This flick will have a Tamil and Telugu version also as per reports and it will hit the screens soon.

Mega Star Mammootty had won his 13th best actor Filmfare award last day, when he was chosen as the best actor from Mollywood of the year 2015 at 63rd Britannia Filmfare awards. Mammootty had won the award for his performance in the movie named Pathemari directed by Salim Ahammad last year. Now he holds the record of the most number of filmfare awards by a Malayalam actor as he got his 13th Filmfare award this year. Mohanlal who had won 9 Filmfare awards is at the second place from Mollywood.

Pathemari is chosen as the Best film from Malayalam and Parvathy had won the best actress award for her performance in the film Ennu Ninte Moideen. RS Vimal had won the best director award for making the film Ennu Ninte Moideen. Tovino Thomas and Lena won best supporting actor male and supporting actor female award respectively for their performance in the film Ennu ninte Moideen.

M Jayachandran won the best music director award for his songs in Ennu inte Moideen and Rafeeq Ahammad won best lyricist award for penning the lyrics of the song Kathirunnu from Ennu Ninte Moideen. Shreya Ghoshal won best female playback singer award for the song Kathirunnu from Ennu Ninte Moideen as well. Best playback singer male award went to Vijay Yesudas for Malare song from Premam.

Jayasurya had won the critic’s best actor award for his performance in the film Su Su Sudhi Vathmeekam and Sai Pallavi had won the best female debutant award for her performance in the movie Premam. The award ceremony was a grand one with lots of glitz and glamour and it was occurred at Hyderabad Convention Centre in Hyderabad last night.

Karachi 81 : Prithviraj to act in first Malayalam movie to be shot in Pakistan

Young Super Star Prithviraj Sukumaran had finished the shoot of his upcoming film named Oozham, which is a revenge thriller directed by Jeethu Joseph. The film will hit the screens all over Kerala in this coming Onam season. Now he will join the horror thriller named Ezra directed by debutant Jayakrishnan.

A latest report coming in that Prithviraj is all set to be a part of a movie which will be the first Malayalam film ever to be shot in the country Pakistan. This film is titled as Karachi 81 and will be directed by KS Bava, who had earlier directed a Malayalam film named Idiots with Asif Ali in the lead.

The team behind the film planning to start the first schedule of this film in this coming September at Karachi. It told the story of friendship between an Indian and Pakistan soldier and the movie had got very good response as well. This film, Karachi 81 will be shot in Moscow, Rajasthan and Kochi as well and there are some reports which says that Karachi 81 will be telling the story of a spy.

There were reports came earlier that Mohanlal-Jr NTR starrer Telugu film Janata Garage and the Telugu remake of Premam starred by Naga Chaithanya will release on the same date. August 12th this year is the date on which both films are planned to hit the screens all over. But the latest update says that this fight will not happen there at Telugu Box office.

Because, sources from Tollywood says that the distribution rights of both these films has been bought by the same distributor named Dil Raju. So, there is less chance that both these films will release on the same day. Reports also said that Dil Raju had got the distribution rights of Janata Garage for a record price in Tollywood and it is the highest ever got by any Jr. NTR film till now in his career. The Presence of Mollywood Super Star Mohanlal also played a major factor in it, says the sources from Tollywood.
