Jacobinte Swargarajyam from Vineeth Sreenivasan-Nivin Pauly team is getting great reviews from all around and actor Jayasurya too posted his review on the film after watching it. The celebrity review is already going viral in social media platforms as well. Jayasurya said that Jacobinte Swargarajyam is a stunning film and he loved it a lot. Jayasurya first of all appreciated Vineeth Sreenivasan for the dialogues he had written for the film. He said that those dialogues had touched his heart many times during the movie and it was due to happiness, sadness and realizations after hearing those dialogues.

Jayasurya said that everyone who watches this film will think that his family should be like this. The film reflects the value of family relations that much clearly and in a heart touching manner. The film also shows us that everyone has goodness in them. We have to realize it and go forward in life with that realization, confidence and to be honest at every juncture to be a winner in life. He also said in a funny vein to Jomon T John that, if he ever decide to go away from Mollywood to other film industries, then he will be shot to death by Jayasurya. Jayasurya concluded his review by saying that everyone will have to keep the DVD of this film in his/her house like a prayer book to make your family like a kingdom of heaven.

Yathra Chodikkathe Review

Yathra Chodikkathe is one of the Malayalam films that released today and the film got the attention of the audience for one reason. It is the last movie of late actor Kalabhavan Mani. The film thus bagged an emotional attachment from the people of Kerala towards it. It has been directed by Aneesh Varma who is a debutant director and scripted by Haripad Harilal. Along with Kalabhavan Mani, actors like Sadik, Reena Basheer, Sreekumar, Manuraj, Kannan Pattambi, Anil Panachooran etc also played important role in this film.

The plot of the film revolves around Balan, played by Kalabhavan Mani and his wife character Indira played by Reena Basheer. They had a daughter named Ponnu and the parents want her to reach heights through studies. They are from Kuttanad. So they send her to Ernakulam for higher studies and there she gets a gift from a boy in the form of a mobile phone. That gift makes her fall in a trap and the film follows what happens next to Ponnu and her parents, Balan and Indira.

We have to say that Aneesh Varma had become successful in making a decent film even though the theme of the film is an old one. But he presented it with intensity and the subject has great relevance in our society as well. The dialogues were a bit dramatic and it was a negative of the film. And also at some parts audience may feel that the makeup of Kalabhavan mani in incomplete. If the technical side was better, then the film can be a better one as well.

Kalabhavan Mani had given a great performance as Balan and specially, the emotional scenes were terrific. Each and every one will really miss him after watching this performance for sure. Reena Basheer, Meenu Kuryan, Sadik etc also done a very good job even though no one matched up to Mani’s performance. The climax portion was really good and the film gives a message for us regarding the plight of girls who goes away from home for higher studies and the traps waiting for them. It also points towards the flaws of Indian Judicial system through some scenes. Kaithapram Vishwanadhan Namboothiri and Ajith Sukumaran had given the music for this flick and Ramachandran was the DOP of the film. Both department had given satisfactory results.

In Total, Yathra Chodikkathe is an ok and one time watchable emotional family drama, which tells a relevant subject through some great performance from Kalabhavan Mani. If you want to see the glimpse of that great talent from Mani for the last time, Yathra Chodikkathe is one for you.

If the reports coming are to be believed, after the Vishu box office fight between Vijay’s Theri and some Malayalam films like King Liar, Jacobinte Swargarajyam and Kali, another box office war is going to happen in the last week of April. Prithviraj’s upcoming film James and Alice directed by Sujith Vasudev, had already confirmed its release date as April 29. But as per reports, Mammootty starrer film White directed by Uday Ananthan also planning to release on the same day. The date of release is not confirmed for White and but reports says it will come in April 29 along with Prithviraj’s James and Alice.

If it happens, it will be another big war at box office between the young super star and Mega star of Mollywood. Both movies said to be based on romance and that will enhance the intensity of the fight. Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi is the female lead in White, which is produced by Eros International. Vedhika playing the female lead in James and Alice, which is produced by Dharmik films. This will be cinematographer Sujith Vasudev’s debut movie as a director. White will be Udaya Ananthan’s 3rd movie as he had earlier directed a segement in Kerala Café named Mrithyunjayam and later made a film named Pranayakalam, which was not a box office success. So he looks forward to deliver his first box office success with White.

Mammootty and Prithviraj films came face to face at box office a number of times before and most of the times, the winner was Prithvi Raj. So this time Mammootty will be looking forward to settle the score by winning this fight at box office. Prithviraj playing the title character James in this upcoming film and Mammootty’s character in White is Prakash Roy.

Last time both of them came face to face when the films Uttopyayile Rajavu starring Mammootty and Double Barrel starring Prithviraj came to the screens within the gap of a single day in last year August. But both were flops at box office.

The film lovers all over South India is waiting for April 14th. It is not just the Vishu day for Malayalees and Tamil New Year day for Tamilians, but it is the big day of the release of Ilaya Thalapathy starrer flick Theri directed by Raja Rani fame director Atlee. The film produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu is all set for a gigantic release worldwide and as per reports the film is going to hit 2000 screens worldwide. Vijay film always gets that much of screens and Theri repeated that as well.

In Kerala, the film will release around 200 screens and will be distributed here by Friday Film House and Carnival Motion Pictures, who jointly bought the distribution rights for 5.6 crore rupees, which is indeed a record price here in Mollywood for any other language film so far.

Amy Jackson and Samatha playing the female leads in this film and more than 40% of the film is shot in Kerala. Vijay sport 3 different get ups in this film. One character of his is a cop named Vijay Kumar and another one is named as Joseph Kuruvila. This is the first full-fledged cop role in Vijay’s career.

GV Prakash Kumar had tuned the music for this flick and the trailer, teaser etc of the film had already created records in YouTube views.

Jacobinte Swargarajyam Review

The big release in Mollywood today is Jacobinte Swargarajyam, which is written and directed by none other than one of the most trustable film makers of our young generation, Vineeth Sreenivasan. Young star Nivin Pauly, who also emerging as one of the most dependable young star here in Mollywood plays the male lead in this movie. This will be the third time, Nivin Pauly is playing the lead in a Vineeth Sreenivasan directorial film. Earlier they had done Malarvadi Arts club, (which was the debut film of Nivin Pauly as an actor and Vineeth Sreenivasan as a director) and Thattathin Marayathu and both films became successes.

So the anticipation level for this third union of them is so high. The Nivin Pauly-G Prajith film Oru Vadakkan Selfie (2015) which was scripted by Vineeth Sreenivasan also became a success which made this pair a 100% successful film maker-actor pair in Mollywood now. So when we are stepping in to the theaters for Jacobinte Swargarajyam, the level of expectation is damn too high.

The film revolves around the family of Jacob played by Renji Panicker. He had 4 children named Jerry, Ammu, Chris and Abin played by Nivin Pauly, Aima Sebastian, Stacen and Sreenath Bhasi. He is an iron businessman in Dubai and leading a happy life with his family. Jerry assist him in his business as well. But the global economical recession had hit his business and later he was cheated by one of his friend named Ajmal. That affects their life big time and they land in great financial crisis. Then Jacob had to go to Liberia for a business meeting to sort out things. The movie really picks up from there where Jerry starts to fight for his family.

Vineeth Sreenivasan had done it again as he had created just another gem of a movie which will make you happy and satisfied. The screenplay by him is fabulous and the way in which he narrated the story as a director speaks volumes about this man’s caliber. He made the movie special for family audience and youth alike. The perfect mixing of elements that satisfies both is the positive of the plot as well as the making style. The music of Shan Rahman had contributed big time to make this happen as well. The songs were beautiful and the background scoring also really made the audience to get in to the atmosphere that is created in the plot.

Jomon T John, we all what a magician he is with his camera and he had done the magic again with some beautiful frames. Even if the film is shot in Dubai, his frames gives the feel that we are in a familier atmosphere of our home and even the unknown places looks familier to us. Ranjan Abraham’s editing also enhanced the viewing experience of the film as it really created the pace which the flick needs to make the audience glued to their seats.

Nivin Pauly once again done a great job when it comes to the performance level. He is maturing as an actor with each films he does and he is becoming more natural too as an actor. The character named Jerry has all the mannerism you expect from him and you will love it as well. At the same time he had did a great job in the emotional scenes too. He was well supported by fabulous performance by Renji Panicker who had played the title character of Jacob. This may be the best character Renji Panicker done so far in his career.

Other notable performance were came from artists such as Sreenath Bhasi, Lakshmi Ramakrishnan, TG Ravi, Sai Kumar, Ashwin Kumar etc. Vineeth Sreenivasan’s character and his dialogues were superb too. The new faces Aima Sebastian and Reeba Monicka John who played Ammu and Chippy respectively had done a graceful job as well along with the above mentioned experience artists.

On the whole Jacobinte Swarga Rajyam is the best film released in this summer so far in Mollywood. It is a perfect mix of youthful energy and family sentiments. This one can be considered as the best from Nivin Pauly- Vineeth Sreenivasan combination and will remain in your heart for long.

The flick had shot in Vietnam, Bangok, Thailand and Kerala. This will be one of the biggest budget films ever made in Malayalam and the producer of this film is Tomichan Mulakupadam. Gopi Sundar tuned the music for this film which will have a great star cast including Kamalini Mukharjee, Jagapathi Babu, Siddique, Suraj Venjarammoodu, Nobi, Bala, Namitha etc. July 7, the Ramzan festival time has been locked as the release time of the film and the Mollywood film lovers are waiting eagerly to see the Puli Murugan Avatar of their most favorite actor.

Dileep starrer film King Liar is running successfully all over as the Siddique-Lal film had got great report from all over. Being a funny family entertainer, the flick is getting the support of family audience and that itself is an assurance of its long run. The film directed by Lal and scripted by Siddique-Lal team has Madonna Sebastian as female lead.

The flick had got 1.5 cr+ on its first day and 1.75 cr+ on its second day. After the completion of 4 days at box office, the film had raked in a gross above 5.56 crore from Kerala alone. The superb family support is the main reason behind the great collection of the film.

Dileep is now right on his success after the mega success he had got with Two Countries directed by Shafi last year December. Siddique-Lal team had united after 22 years and the film is produced by Ouseppachan Valakkuzhy who had produced the debut film of Siddique-Lal team, Ramji Rao Speaking.

King Liar will not have much opposition till this coming Friday as Jacobinte Swargarajyam by Vineeth Sreenivasan and Nivin Pauly team will release only on this Friday. If it gets great report, then there will be a contest on cards for King Liar as Jacobinte Swargarajyam also said to be a family entertainer.
