Aadupuliyattam Audio Launch Stills-Photos

The grand Audio launch of the upcoming big budget Jayaram film named Aadu Puliyattam occured at Angamaly Adlux International Convention center yesterday evening. The film directed by Kannan Thamarakkulam and scripted by Dinesh Pallathu is a horror thriller and will be releasing in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu languages at the same time. The film will have a big release above 600 screens in India as per reports. The music director of this film is none other than Beautiful and Run Baby Run film fame Ratheesh Vega and yesterday there was a live concert of Ratheesh Vega music band at Angamaly along with the music launch function.

The function was attended by many popular figures from Mollywood apart from the cast and crew of the film which already had big names associated with it. Apart from Jayaram, other artist who is playing the important roles in this film include Bollywood actor Om Puri, Tamil actor Sambath and South Indian popular actress Remya Krishnan.

Along with these big names, artists like Sheelu Abraham, Baby Akshara Kishore, Ramesh Pisharody, Saju Navodaya etc also playing key roles. Singers like Rimi Tomi also came there at the audio launch function at Angamaly. The function had begun at 6 PM yesterday evening and the crowd support was fabulous. The film had got a record price as its audio rights in Mollywood which is said to be 10 lakhs rupees.

Aadu Puliyattaom is produced by Haseeb Haneef and Noushad Alathur under the banner of Grande Film Corporation and it will be distributed in Kerala by Mammootty’s playhouse release.

Popular Mollywood actor Jagadeesh is contesting this assembly elections that is coming up in Kerala and he is contesting from the constituency of Pathanapuram. Jagadeesh representing the United Democratic Front led by Congress Party and another actor Ganesh Kumar from Kerala Congress (B) contesting opposite him with the support of Left Democratic Front lead by Communist Party of India (Marxist).

The war of words between the two had already begun and both of them started to throw dirt on each other by saying not so good things about others. Meanwhile Jagadeesh said that he had come to the election campaign after getting the best wishes from Mega Star Mammootty.

Jagadeesh was acting in Mammootty starrer film Kasaba directed by Nithin Renji Panicker and it was due to the help of Mammootty that he has been able to wrap up his work in the film rapidly and join the election campaign in his constituency at the earliest. Before leaving the set, a meeting was organized by Mammootty and everyone in the set conveyed their best wishes to Jagadeesh for the success of him in the coming elections.

Jagadeesh had also said earlier that it was Mohanlal and Mukesh who said him to give reply to Ganesh Kumar’s allegation that Jagadeesh was enjoying in a foreign country when his father was lying dead at his home. But Jagadeesh said he had went for a program there and the news of his father’s death reached lately to him. Mohanlal had said to give the reply as he knows the dilemma of an artist who have to perform just a day after the death of their beloved ones. Mukesh also stood by him in this matter says Jagadeesh. Mukesh is also contesting elections from Kollam, representing the Left Democratic Front.

Mammootty is a popular left supporter for years and Mohanlal made clear about his stand that he does not representing any political parties and their ideologies as he had not much knowledge about any political parties. Anyway we also wishing all the very best to Jagadeesh and all other actors who is contesting in this election.

Kali Collection Report – 11 Days

Kali had made a great run at Kerala box office for its first 3 days as it had grossed close to 5.5 crore from those 3 days. Later the collection dropped down and from the later 8 days the film had earned only close to 4.5 crore. But when we look at the overall collection of the movie, it’s fantastic as it had earned more than 10 crore from its 11 days of theatrical run here in Kerala.

Multiplexes are showing decent status in the evening specially. From Ernakulam multiplexes alone it had crossed 1 crore gross last day and now Kali is the 6th movie of Dulquer Salmaan to gross 1 crore from Ernakulam Multiplexes. The film doing good business at Tamil Nadu too as it is inching close to the 50 lakhs gross from there. It will be his 3rd 50 lakh grosser and that is a great achievement for Dulquer Salmaan.

This Sameer Thahir directorial and Rajesh Gopinath scripted movie has Sai Pallavi playing the female lead and artists like Chemban Vinod, Vinayakan, Soubin Shaheer playing important roles as well. The youngsters are the majority who comes to watch this film. The mixed response and lack of family audience is the one which made the film to go down on collection after the first few days. The competition from King Liar last week also affected Kali.

When Prithviraj and RS Vimal team announced the project based on the character Karnan, from the epic Mahabharatha, it was really an exciting news. They had launched that project and even published a motion poster. Then came the news that Madhupal and P Sreekumar is coming with a project based on Karnan and Megastar Mammootty will play the lead role in it.

Then the discussion went in another direction as everybody began to discuss about which film become the best and who will play the character better. Then some weeks back director RS Vimal posted in his Facebook page that he had completed the screenplay of Karnan and as per reports the pre-production work had already started. Then the focus was on Mammootty’s Karnan as everybody want to know when it will start filming. Now Madhupal the director of Mammootty’s Karnan confirmed that it only start in next year as it is a big budget project.

Madhupal said that it is a big project and need some time to finish its pre-production works. In between he had to finish another project as well with Jayasurya and Biju Menon in the lead, which will be based on the Summariyamma murder case that happened in 2012. When the news of Madhupal’s upcoming project came, there is a rumor spread in social media that his project based on Karnan is delayed indefinitely.

The other details about Madhupal’s Karnan is not yet revealed as they are tight lipped about it. Madhupal not even got ready to tell the exact status of the film’s pre-production works. Meanwhile some details about the Prithvi Raj- R S Vimal team’s Karnan is out. The DOP of the film will be Senthil Kumar. Who shot to fame through his works in Bahubali. Gopi Sundar will tune the music for this film which will be produced by Venu Kunnappilly under the banner of Kavya Films. Everybody wants to know how these two directors, Madhupal and RS Vimal approach the same character in their own style and how differently they will present it.

The audio launch of Jayaram starrer horror film Aadu Puliyattam was celebrated grandly at Angamaly Adlux center today evening. The function was a superb one with the live concert of Ratheesh Vega music band and the crowd support was fabulous as well. The crowd came in such large number there that even actor like Om Puri had to wait outside close to half an hour to enter in to the main area of the event. People like Jayaram, director Kamal, Om Puri, director V K Prakash, actor siddique, director Padmakumar, Kailash, Rimi Tomi attended the function along with other cast and crew of the film.

As we said above, the uncontrollable crowd created some problems as well to enter in to the main area of the program which had already filled by the evening. There was huge screen set outside but that area also filled with large number of crowd and later the number of crowd increased an ends up in problems like manhandling the security staff etc.

The film is directed by Kannan Thamarakkulam and it was written by Dinesh Pallathu. As per reports the film will come to the screens all over India in 3 different languages and over 600 screens. Ratheesh Vega composed the music for this film and Jithu Damodar is the DOP. The flick had been produced by Grande Film Corporation owned by Noushad Alathur and Haseeb Haneef.

Few days back a north Indian serial artist named Pratyusha Banerjee had committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling fan in her apartment. The Police is investigating about her suicide and there are lots of discussions going around her death and the probable reasons for that. She had become famous through the Television serial named Balika Vadhu and acted in some other serials as well.

But the point of discussion here is the comment from Rakhi Sawant who happens to be one of the close friends of Pratyusha Banejee. Rakhi Sawant, the Bollywood actress and item dance girl asked for the ban of ceiling fan in our country to reduce the rate of suicide.

Rakhi Sawant said that most of the women commits suicide by hanging on to the ceiling fan in their house and the ceiling fans should be banned in order to decrease that suicide tendency among women. She said that if you love your mother, sister, wife or lover, you all should avoid Ceiling fan and instead of it, one can use the table fan and Air Condition in his house.

She came to the press meet holding a miniature of a ceiling fan as well. Rakhi said that we have to take steps forward to protect the women in our country. More than using the slogan of Bharath Matha Ki Jai, we have to do something for the women in our country.

Mollywood again moving to yet another strike as tomorrow the exhibitors of Kerala will close down all screens as a part of a one day strike against the decrease of cinema ticket CESS rate from 5 rupees to 3 rupees by government. The exhibitors had warned that if the declaration about the decreased CESS rate not withdrawn, they will start the theater strike for indefinite period from May 2nd. Kerala Exhibitors Film Federation, Kerala Cine Exhibitors association etc will take part in the strike tomorrow and along with them the Multiplexes of Carnival group also join the strike tomorrow.

Liberty Basheer, the president of Exhibitors federation said that the cabinet first decided to increase the rate to 5 rupees, on December 17 last year. Then they decided against it on this year February 18 and decided to decrease the rate to 3 rupees. That is not at all acceptable and that is why they decided to go for a strike tomorrow which will serve as a warning from them to the government.

Liberty Basheer also alleges that the decision to give a private company the authority of ticket sales has come even after the opposition from the Minister who looking after the cinema affairs. By giving away 50 paisa for each ticket will be like 12 crore extra loss to the theaters of Kerala altogether.

We are presenting an exclusive news before you. Lal Jose and Dulquer Salmaan is joining together again after the success of Vikramadithyan. This team they are joining together for a film written by Unni R who wrote Charlie which had helped Dulquer Salmaan to win the best actor in State film awards. Shebin Backer will produce this movie and he told to Onlookers Media that the filming will begin by the end of this year. They are looking for the correct location to shoot the film and other details will update soon after the finalization.

Lal Jose already committed another two projects as well. One with Sreenivasan and another with Mohanlal. The Mohanlal film is scripting by Benny P Nayarambalam in which Mohanlal will play the character of a college lecturer. The scripting of that film is on and we still don’t know whether Lal Jose will do Mohanlal film before this Dulquer Salmaan starrer.

The busy schedule of Mohanlal may delay that film and in that case, this Dulquer Salmaan film will be the one which Lal Jose doing next. Earlier a Nivin Pauly project was also announced by Lal Jose. But due to some technical reasons they had postponed that project to next year or so.

Shebin Backer is one of the producers of Charlie, in which Joju George and Martin Prakatt co-produced the film with him under the banner of Finding Cinemas. Dulquer Salmaan’s next release is Rajeev Ravi directorial film Kammattipadam. Then he will join the Amal Neerad film and later will do the film directed by Pratap Pothen titled as Love in Anjengo, scripted by Anjali Menon.
