The culprit in Sreeya Ramesh issue cried in front her and seek apology for the sake his family
A week back we all heard the news about the fake photo and news spreading against actress Sreeya Ramesh and she had filed a complaint against it in Police. The police had acted very quickly and caught the one who did it to her. As per reports when he was taken in front of Sreeya Ramesh, he had cried standing in front of her and seek apology from her for the sake of his family. Shreya had written a Facebook post about that incident and it is going viral now in social media.
Sreeya Ramesh says that at first she want to thank all who supported her in this issue as she was really down when it befall on her. The police had arrested the one who started all this spreading of fake news and photos. She asked for the permission to speak to the culprit and the police had granted it. When she met him, she asked him why he done that to insult her. He said that he did it just for fun. Then he cried and seek apology from her saying that he has a family.
At first, Sreeya Ramesh says that she want to give him the maximum punishment he can get, when thought about the struggle she had to gone through after this man had spread those fake news and photos against her. Later when he said that he has a wife and kid and he will go to jail for a long time if she moves forward with the case. Police had explained to him about the seriousness of the crime he had done and they were still searching for the other ones who spread the news and photos. Sreeya Rameshsaid that because of that she is not taking any decision regarding this issue as of now.
Sreeya Ramesh said that she is very happy now that the police had caught the one who did it. She had thanked everyone including her colleagues, fans and family members who supported her while she was going through that horrible time.
Bollywood Model Pooja Mishra had filed a case against Sunny Leone demanding 100 cr compensation
Bollywood actress Sunny Leone landed in legal trouble as one of the Bollywood model and Big Boss TV show contestant Pooja Mishra had filed a case against her in the Bombay High Court demanding 100 crore compensation from Sunny Leone for defaming her and conspired against her. The trial will be held after the vacation as the petitioner was absent when the matter was called out before the court as per reports. Justice Naresh Patil declared that it will only be considered after the vacation.
Pooja Mishra alleges that Sunny Leone only made a late entry to the Big Boss season 5. Pooja was there from the beginning of that season. Later Sunny Leone had given some interviews to Medias in which she spoke words which defamed Pooja Mishra and Pooja says that those words had come out of pure jealousy towards her.
She alleges that Sunny Leone is full of Malice and Pooja even accused Sunny Leone that she is behind the defaming article that came against her in a City Newspaper. It made her reputation go bad in front of the public and she had suffered a loss over 70 lakhs as a part of fixing all that.
So she had filed a petition against Sunny Leone under the IPC section 500 and 120(b) for defaming and conspiring against her and wants 100 crore rupees as compensation from Sunny Leone.
Dulquer Salmaan starrer flick Kali which released on March 25 may have slowed down a bit after the big opening here in Kerala, the film is doing very good at Tamil Nadu box office. As per reports coming from trade guides in Kollywood, Kali is inching close to the mark of 50 lakhs gross from Tamil Nadu.
If it does so, then it will be Dulquer Salmaan’s third movie to do so in Tamil Nadu after Bangalore days and Charlie. His film OK Kanmani had done terrific business there but it was a Tamil film and that’s why not counted in this list.
Kali is getting great response from Tamil Nadu and Dulquer Salmaan is making his stardom felt there as well. Now-a-days Mollywood films gets great response there in Tamil Nadu and it all started with the mega success of Drishyam. Later Bangalore days had done it there and then came Premam which had become a sensational success there and it had completed 300 days of run there as well. Kali had got great opening here in Mollywood with mixed reviews. But later dropped down as the lack of family support is evident here. Dileep starrer King Liar released last week getting all family support now. But Kali is safe now as far as its budget is concerned and Dulquer Salmaan had scored another hit for him.
Jacobinte Swargarajyam is the upcoming summer release in Mollywood. The flick is directed nad scripted by none other than Vineeth Sreenivasan and the male lead is played by Nivin Pauly. Renji Panicker plays the title character of Jacob and Sreenath Bhasi too playing an important character in this flick. New face Reeba is playing the female lead in this film as well. Baby Sara coming with Sunny Wayne after working with Vikram and Aishwarya Rai
Baby Sara is a well- known child artist, as she become the sweetheart of Malayalees as well as the whole south India through the film named Deiva Thirumagal directed by AL Vijay. Dileep starrer flick King Liar which released on Saturday is going great at box office after receiving positive reviews mostly. The family audience seems to have satisfied with the film and their support is now showering in for this film came from the experienced hands of Siddique-Lal team. Lal had directed the film and acted in it as well.
Siddique and Lal combination had written the screenplay together based on the story by Siddique. Bipin Chandran had written the dialogues for the film and he too appeared in a small cameo in the film. The film had collected above 1.5 crore on its first day and the second day business of the film was even bigger.
On its first day, which was a Saturday, the film had collected above 1.50 crore and on its second day, on last Sunday, it had collected an amount around 1.75 crores. Thus the approximate total gross collection of the film from Kerala in 2 days is around 3.30 crores. The performance of Dileep as Sathya Narayanan is the highlight of this film. Presence of Madonna as female lead adds to the attraction of the film. She too had done well. Balu Varghese had just stole the show with his fabulous support to Dileep and his great comedy timing.
Anyway the film had begun well and it is expected to rake in huge amount of Money till the next release comes in Mollywood, which will be Jacobinte Swarga Rajyam starring Niviun Pauly and conceived by Vineeth Sreenivasan. It will come on April 8th all around.
Will Theri break the all-time biggest opening day collection record set by I in Kerala ?
Atlee directorial flick Theri, in which Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay is the hero is on its way to grace the silver screens all over. Mollywood is also waiting for this film as Vijay had great number of fans here in Kerala and Vijay films always get gigantic release here. The distribution rights of Theri has been bought by Mollywood’s own Vijay babu and Sandra Thomas (Friday Film House) in association with the production house named Carnival Motion Pictures Private Limited for a whopping amount of 5.6 crore, which is indeed a record. Previous record was created by Shankar’s I starred by Chiyan Vikram which was bought by Global United Media for a price of 5.35 crore.
But now Theri is all set break another record set by I as well. Yes, it is the all-time biggest opening day collection record in Kerala. Vikram- Shankar team’s I which release around 200 screens in Kerala had got an amount of 3.8 crore rupees from its first day gross here. The theater charting of Theri is on now and it is expected to reach near 200 screens by the date of its release, which is the 14th of April. With the new ticket rates and multiplex release, Theri has all the chance in the world to break that record created by I.
The anticipation level around the film is damn too high and it also will work as a factor. But there factors that can affect the prospect negatively as well. Because on 14th April, Malayalees celebrates Vishu with their whole family and it can affect the rush of morning shows. If that happens then it will become hard for Theri to beat I. But the hopes around the film is too high and people are waiting for it eagerly.

Ramaniyechiyude Namathil team coming with Asif Ali film named Kavi Udheshichathu ?
Asif Ali who is now making careful moves in his career is coming up with a promising project named Kavi Udeshichathu, which will be made by the team which made the trendsetter short film named Ramaniyechiyude Namathil last year. The film Kavi Udheshichathu will be directed by Thomas Liju Thomas and scripted by Kutty Martin. The DOP of the film will be Shahnad Jalal. These are the ones who were behind the award winning short film as well.
This film will be produced by Asif Ali’s production house Adams World of Imaginationco–owned by Sajin Jaffer and Brijeesh Muhammad. Kohinoor directed by Vinay Govind starred Asif Ali and Indrajith was their first production venture. They had committed another venture with Prithvi Raj in the lead, named The Beautiful Game, which will be directed by debutant Jamesh Kottackal.
This film Kavi Udheshichathu will start its filming very soon. Along with Asif Ali, actors like Narein and Siju Menon will play important roles in this movie. Ramaniyechuyude Namathil was a great success in YouTube and had won many awards as well. FEFKA had organized a short film contest for the assistant directors in Malayalam film industry and the first prize for best short film was won by Ramaniyechiyude Namathil. Apart from that it had won more 54 awards at many international film festivals where it had been screened.

Theri is making records even before its release as we have already told you about it. It had set new record in distribution rights in Kerala beating Vikarm-Shankar team’s magnum opus film ‘I’. Now in Youtube too it had created a new record as it the teaser of the film had crossed 1 crore views in YouTube last day. The most viewed teaser in Kollywood history is Vikram- Shankar team’s Ai’s teaser, which had 11 million YouTube views. If Theri goes by this rate, it can surpass that record set by I as well.
Theri trailer released some weeks back also going great in terms of views in YouTube as it had already crossed 70 lakhs views in YouTube. Theri teaser got 296, 579 likes as well in YouTube, which is also a record in Kollywood. The film will arrive on screen from the 14th of April, the Tamil New Year day. It said to be on its way to do 100 crore pre-release business after his last film Puli had done 101 crore business before release. But Puli had failed to repeat that magic in box office.
Vijay fans and film lovers of South India have high hopes on this film and the name of Atlee as director gives them a sigh of relief as well. Atlee’s last film Raja Rani had won great appreciation critically and commercially. The film produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu will be an action packed entertainer in which Vijay comes in triple role as per reports. About 40% of the film is shot in Kerala and one character of Vijay in this film is a Malayali character too.
Friday Film House owned by Mollywood artists Vijay Babu and Sandra Thomas had bagged the distribution rights of Theri here in Kerala and they bought it for 5. 6 core rupees and that too in association with Carnival Motion Pictures Private Limited. The Malayalam poster of the film had launched last day by Sandra Thomas and the promotion is in full swing for the film. Let’s hope that the film will rise up to the level of expectation it had created.
