Mohanlal is unarguably the biggest crowdpuller here in Mollywood and without any doubt, the most loved and most followed actor in Kerala. And when it comes to his acting skill, many greats calls him the greatest actor Indian Cinema has ever seen. So it is natural that his star value will be on sky high and his name is enough to bring people to the theaters in large numbers. We had already saw in last year that even films with average response getting great collection at box office and becomes a success financially only because of his name.

The star value of Mohanlal is well known outside Kerala as well. So whenever he acts in a film other than Malayalam, the makers of that movie gives him the highest remuneration when compared to the salary he gets here in Mollywood. As per reports, the upcoming Telugu film of him and Jr. NTR also gave him the highest remuneration. As per some unconfirmed reports, it is the record remuneration received by a Malayalam hero for acting in a film.

The upcoming film named Janata Garage, directed by Koratala Siva is produced by Mythri Movie Makers. The Tollywood and Mollywood film lovers are so much excited to see the combination of Mohanlal and Jr. NTR on the screen. Mohanlal is playing the character of Jr. NTR’s uncle and some flash back scenes had already shot at the first schedule at Hyderabad in which Mohanlal participated along with other Mollywood actors such as Rahman. As per reports, they had given Mohanlal 1.5 crore as cash and along with that gave him the rights of the film here in Mollywood. Mohanlal had reportedly sold that right and got 4.5 crores and now his total remuneration stands on 6 crore rupees for the film.

Normally, a Telugu dubbing film gets only around 1.5 crore maximum here, as its distribution rights. But the name Mohanlal had tripled the amount and now it has been sold for 4.5 crores. The official conformation about tis news had not came yet. But it seems that Mohanlal again created record here and proved that when it comes to star value, he is the ultimate here in Mollywood.

Bahubali was Indian’s biggest motion picture ever and it had created history at Indian Box office by becoming the 3rd highest grosser in Indian film history. It had made such a huge impact that the sequel of the film become the most anticipated movie ever in India. It had created several other records too in various states, in its dream run there. But one record created by Bahubali was broken by Vijay Starrer Theri. Theri is not yet released, but the trailer of this Atlee directorial film had released 2 day before and it is making records in YouTube.

Bahubali was holding a record of 1.4 million views in YouTube for its trailer in 24 hour time. But Theri trailer which released two days back had crossed 1.4 Million views in just 21 hours and a new record has been created. The trailer of this Tamil flick has been generating great response from all over even though the music of this film composed by GV Prakash Kumar has getting only mixed reviews from the audience.

Vijay is playing a cop in this film and as per reports he is playing 3 characters in this film and sporting 3 different looks as well. Samantha and Amy Jackson is playing the female leads in this movie and there are reports that one of the characters played by Vijay in this movie is a Keralite.

While the film is going great with its teaser and trailer reviews, everyone hopes that it will rock on the big screen also and will be a comeback from Vijay whose last film Puli was a disaster.

Oppam : Devshi Khanduri to make her Malayalam debut with Mohanlal

Priyadarshan had started the filming of his new Malayalam movie named Oppam with his best friend and the finest actor in Indian cinema, Mr. Mohanlal. The flick had started off at Kochi on March 5 this year and the first schedule of the film is almost going to its last part there. The film is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Ashirvad Cinemas and it will come as an Onam release of Mohanlal on September 8 this year, as per latest reports.

Another news related to this film is coming now, which says that, popular Bollywood actress Devshi Khanduri is making her Mollywood debut through this movie. She had shared some photos of her with Mohanlal, Priyadarshan from the set of Oppam via her official facebook page. The photos was taken during the song shoot of the film in which Mohanlal, Vimala Raman, Mamukkoya, Kanaran Harish etc also were part of.

She had made her debut in Bollywood through the movie named Charge sheet by Devanand. She is doing films like Khel Toh Ab Shuru Hoga and Shakal right now in Bollywood and she had also acted in Telugu films with Allu Arjun. She had written lyrics for songs in Hindi movies as well. Anyway she is very happy to make her Mollywood entry in a film directed by one of the best directors in Indian Cinema and also acting along with the Legendary Mohanlal, who is considered as the biggest star here in Mollywood and the finest actor Indian cinema has ever seen.

Devshi Khanduri had done a lot of advertisements too such as Bru, VIP Suit case, Godrej, Monte Carlo, Dabour etc. She is also active in many stage performance and entertainment shows. In the film Oppam, she plays a Punjabi bride as per reports and Arjun Nandakumar plays the bride groom. Mohanlal plays a blind character named Jaya Raman in this movie and the plot revolves around the incidents happens in his life and shows how his life gets affected by all those events. The film is making as a crime thriller.

SS Rajamouli is currently busy with the shoot of Bahubali-The Conclusion, the sequel to the first part Bahubali-The Beginning, which released last year July and become one of the biggest hits in India. As per reports the second part will only release in April 2017 and a teaser may be released in this coming October. But another news coming in which says that there may be a third part to Bahubali and it will not have Prabhas and Rana Daggubati in lead roles.

Instead of them, there may be Tamil star Suriya and Telugu super star Jr. NTR in the third part of Bahubali. If the report comes true, then Bahubali 3 will be something very special for the fans of both Suriya and Jr. NTR. Suriya had openly expressed his wish to work with SS Rajamouli and in a function he openly said that even if he invited to do a cameo in Bahubali, he will accept it with both hands.

SS Rajamouli had already made three films with Jr. NTR and they both share a great bond too. Student No.1, Simhadri and Yamadonga are the three films in which SS Rajamouli and Jr. NTR worked together before. There are reports in Tollywood medias that this pair may again join for a film after the completion of Bahubali 2.

Mohanlal, he is proving again and again what a powerful writer he is apart from the heavenly acting skills he have. His blogs are very popular in Kerala and his last blog regarding JNU issue had trended all over India. Even though he is criticized by many who did not understood what he really meant, many national medias and people who stand impartial in the issue recognized the merit of his words and he got great appreciation in the national level as well.

Now Mohanlal had come up with his latest blog today titled “A letter from God” and it is going viral in social Media platforms. Many people opines that it is a perfect and power packed reply from Mohanlal to his critics and the way in which he shaped the blog was terrific to say the least. He had touched upon all issue going on in our society which is unwanted and he told us the futility of all those things we are doing in the name of caste, creed, color, nation etc.

Mohanlal said that he inspired to write a letter to God after reading a book written by Paul Kalanidhi, titled When Breath becomes air. He asked to God about the life span of a human being and why some people leave this world early. He want to know why God had given less time for us in this world. As usual, God’s reply letter had come to Mohanlal and in that letter God says that it is quite natural that human beings thinks about God only when death is near them or they are in a fear of death. God asks him how many of us, human beings makes use of the time given to us by him sensibly and aptly. God had given everyone 24 hours a day but people uses it differently.

God says that many people uses time to bully others, spreading bad things about others, fighting with each other in the name of God, caste, color, nation etc. They do all negative things using the valuable time given by God. Then they says they did not get enough time to live.

There are examples of people as well who used the time given by God very well. Examples are Mahatma Gandhi, Sachin Tendulkar, MT Vasudevan Nair, Tagore, Amarthyasen, Yesudas, Mammootty, A R Rahman etc, who had perfectly used their time do something fruitful to the society they lives. God also criticizes the ones who are addict to social media and through that wastinmg their time by spreading hate speech, unwanted criticisms, negative thoughts and ideas etc. God asks why people are so concerned about God, by making big Temples, Churches or mosque etc. God says if he can manage this all universe by himself, then he can take care of his own things. He did not need the help and support of any human being for that.

Mohanlal’s words are perfect and powerful in this situation in which our society is going without any direction and only concerned about making new and new problems. Mohanlal’s words is a perfect reply to those whose only aim in life is to criticize or insult Mohanlal using whatever they got against him. Mohanal is making us proud again, with his talent, humility and the noble thoughts and actions of him.

Some days before, a rumor had spread through some online medias that Super Star Mohanlal’s daughter Vismaya Mohanlal is all set to make her movie debut this year. The report says that the Vismaya 2016 stage show Mohanlal doing in Sharjah Cricket Stadium at UAE on April 8th this year is one which will launch Vismaya Mohanlal to Mollywood. But sources close to Mohanlal said to Onlookers Media that this is an absolutely fake report and Vismaya has no plans to do films. The report about her movie debut is absolute rubbish and there not even 1% of truth in it.

The sons and daughters of many film stars has been made their movie debut in India, whether it is Mollywiood, Kollywood or Bollywood. So some people thinks that Mohanlal’s children also have to make that tradition going. Mammootty’s son Dulquer Salmaan and Jayaram’s son Kalidasan had made their hero debut.
