Yesterday the much awaited trailer of Kollywood film Theri had released. Yesterday was the official audio launch ceremony of the film and the trailer was released after that audio launch. The film directed by Atlee and starred by none other than the Ilaya Thapalathy of Kollywood, Vijay is all set to hit the screens all over the world on this coming April 14, the Tamil New Year day.

The trailer of the film which released last day got fantastic reception from social media and it had started off by creating a record in YouTube as well. The trailer of the film had crossed 100k likes in less than 3 hours in YouTube and it is the fastest Indian film to do so as per reports.

The trailer had already crossed 11 lakh views as well in less than 24 hours and the confirmation of that record will also come soon as per reports. The teaser of the film had made history as well by gaining the 5th spot in the list of highest number of teaser views all around the world. The Theri teaser had mot more than 95 lakhs views as of now and it is the highest in India as well.

The songs of the film had also released yesterday and already creating controversy regarding plagiarism issue. The Jithu Jilladi song from the film had great similarity in its tune with the Nan Autokkaran song from the Rajni Kanth starrer flick named Basha and social Media already started trolling G V Prakash Kumar, the music director of Theri.

Last Saturday, it was a big day for Indian cricket fans as the team India beat Pakistan at Twenty20 World cup match. It was at Eden Garden Kolkata and many legends from cricket and film field were present there. People like Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Imran Khan, Amitabh Bachchan were present there and Amitabh Bachchan had sung the National anthem before the game as well. But later a controversy sprouted up that Amitabh Bachchan had charged rupees 4 crore to be there and sing the national anthem.
It was spreading in social Media like wild fire as well.

Now Sourav Ganguly, the legendary cricket player who is from Kolkata as well said that it was all fake news that is spreading against Amitabh. He did not charged a single penny for coming there and singing national anthem to life up the spirit our team. He don’t even charged for his flight tickets and hotel bills as well. Ganguly is the president of Cricket association of Bengal and he said that Amitabh Bachchan had spent almost 30 lakh rupees from his own pocket to be there and sing the national anthem.

Ganguly said that even after persuading him to receive some money, he did not received that by saying he is doing these for love and not for money. He did such a wonderful and patriotic act and Ganguly reportedly said that he is grateful to Amitabh Bachchan eternally for his special presence and involvement there. He even got ready for a rehearsal for the show when the weather was not good there and there is no surety that the game would happen or not. His enthusiasm was unbelievable and for that we have to salute him. But what some people e doing is just insulting him by spreading fake news against him.

Indian had won the match yesterday quite comfortable in the presence of all those big names in India. The happiness of people like Amitabh Bachchan and Sachin Tendulkar was indeed great to see as well. Amitabh Bachchan had come with his son and popular actor Abhishek Bachchan to attend the event.

Jeethu Joseph to script Biju Menon- Indrajith starrer !

We already know that Jeethu Joseph is all set to begin the shoot of his new film named Oozham with Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead. As per reports Oozham will be an Onam release this year, which will tell a revenge story. The film will have Balachandra Menon, Neeraj madhav and Divya Pillai as well playing key roles in it. Jeethu Joseph for the first time is scripting for a new comer named Anzar khan which will be produced by Jose Thomas Shakthikulangara. Anzar khan who before proved himself with a short film which has won numerous awards. Roshan Chittoor is signed as the production controller of the movie. The film will have Biju Menon and Indrajith playing the lead roles and not titled as of now.

The plot of this film is based on the state award winning telefilm named Mukhamukham directed by Anzar Khan, years back. The plot revolve around two convicts who are being transported from Peerumedu to Ernakulam. It will be a thriller says Jeethu Joseph and he also said that it is one of the most challenging screenplays he had written so far as there is not many characters in this movie and most of the scenes took place in a forest area. The journey of two convicts inside the forest takes up majority of the scenes.

Anzar Khan is a friend of Jeethu Joseph and he had assisted directors like Viji Thampi and Blessy earlier. He said that they are planning to start the filming in August and both Biju Menon and Indrajith are agreed to do the roles offered to them. Now the location hunt is on for the project and forest area in Kerala are going to be explored more for its location. Other artists were not yet confirmed and it will be done very soon. Jeethu Joseph’s last film was Life of Josootty with Dileep in the lead which released last year. It was not a big success at box office but his Drishyam with Mohanlal in the lead still remains the biggest success in Malayalam film industry.

As per reports, after the Prithviraj starrer, Jeethu Joseph will have projects with Mohanlal. Mammootty and Kavya Madhavan as well. The projects will be announced according to the availability of dates of the super stars.

Actress Sreeya Ramesh, the new victim of online attack had come out through her Facebook page and reacted strongly. Sreeya Ramesh who acted in a number of films before is now doing a key role in Mohanlal-Priyadarshan film Oppam. For last few days a fake report is spreading in her name using a photo of her in which she stands with the producer of one of her films. But the news is framed in such a way that she was connected to an ex-minister of Kerala and spread it in a negative light.

Sreeya Ramesh says that the man in that photo was the producer her film named Aneesiya. The photo was taken while she were on the sets and then framed it in such a way that it can be spread using her name and also by connecting it to some other names as well. She says that when she come to know about this, she become a upset and it was really painful as well to be a victim of these kind of online attack from perverts. Sreeya Ramesh said that Mohanlal and Priyadarshan had tried to console her like two elder brothers and their support was done a great to her mental state.

Sreeya told in her Facebook status that, she had filed a complaint against this in Cyber Cell and they had already started investigation about this issue. She appeals to the people to not to spread this news if it reaches to us. It can create legal problems for the ones who spreads it and also will defame her as a woman. She said that these kinds of incidents is happening regularly now.

People with some abnormal mental conditions doing this to women and they don’t even think about how it affects the mental state and family life of the victim. They are doing this to satisfy their pleasure and that actually spoils the life of other person who is the victim in it. Sreeya Ramesh appeals to each and every one of us not to spread and encourage these fake stories if it reaches to us.

The songs from the film Theri had released and from right away one of the song had landed in plagiarism controversy. The flick directed by Atlee and starred by Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay is all set to release on this coming April 14th. The music director of this big budget flick is G V Prakash Kumar and it is his 50th music album as well. They are planning a grand audio launch ceremony which is said to be happening today.

The song which came online is one starting with the line Jithu Jilladi. But the root of the controversy is that the Jithu Jilladi song has great similarity in its tune with the song starting Nan Autokkaran Autokkaran, from a Rajinikanth film named Basha, which was a big success years back.

GV Prakash Kumar said some weeks back that this song Jithu Jilladi , which will be the intro song of Vijay in this film, is going to be the main highlight of the music album created for the film. But now the music director is feeling the heat as the song had landed in this plagiarism controversy. Rokesh had penned the lyrics for this song and sung by Thenisai Thendral Deva and Harichandran.

The film is produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu and it will have artists like Samantha, Amy Jackson etc playing the female leads as well.

Sabumon Abdusamad (Tharikida Sabu), who has been considered as one of the suspects related to the unnatural death of actor Kalabhavan Mani, had revealed to the media that, he had used alcohol at that night when we went to see Kalabhavan Mani.  Next day Kalabhavan Mani was hospitalized and later died at the hospital. Earlier Sabumon had said that he is not ready to reveal anything about whether he was drunken or not on that day as it is his personal matter. Later actor Jaffer Idukki, who is also present there that day said that Sabumon was not used any alcohol. But now Sabumon himself revealed that he had used alcohol that day and that put Jaffer Idukki’s statement under suspicion as well.

Sabumon said that it was Vinu, a friend of Jaffer Idukki, had brought alcohol there at the paddy house of Kalabhavan Mani. Jaffer Idukki said to Sabumon that Vinu is a production controller in films. The Bear was bought from Sidhartha Regency. Earlier Sabumon and Jaffer Idukki said that they did not bought any alcohol and not used it at that night at Paddy. But now, both of them agrees that they bought it from Sidhartha Regency and also used it at that night as well.

Sabumon said that he left paddy house at 11.30 night and he did not notice that whether Kalabhavan Mani used that bear which was brought to that place by Vinu. Sabumon said that Jaffer Idukki may be have said contradictory statements in order to save him. Sabu also said that he was at his home in Kayamkulam on the day of Kalabhavan Mani’s cremation and did not went there to see him because of the pain of loss. Jaffer Idukki also not came there to see him. Mani’s relatives had raised suspicion about this matter as well.

Anyway Chalakkudy Police had interrogated both Sabumon and Jaffer Idukki in this matter and the investigation team is expanded as well considering the seriousness of this matter.  One thins was almost become sure that Mani’s death was not due to his liver disease but he is poisoned.

Last Fridays big release in Mollywood was the Jijo Antony directorial film named Darvinte Parinamam and what made it really big is the presence of Young Super Star Prithviraj. Prithviraj plays the character named Anil Anto in the film and Chemban Vinod plays the title character of Darvin in this flick. Prithviraj is the one who produced this film as well under his banner named August Cinemas which has Santhosh Sivan, Shaji Nadeshan and Arya as partners.

The film had opened to mixed reviews all around and it had released in more than 100+ screens all over Kerala. The statuses at almost every theaters were terrific on its first day and the first day gross of the film is around 1.48 crore rupees as per report. The trade guides says that the net of the film is around 1.2 crore and the share may be around 70 lakhs on day one.

As per the report says Darvinte Parinamam had took the second biggest opening here in Kerala this year. First one was Actin Hero Biju starring Nivin Pauly and directed by Abrid Shine. It had made a gross around 1.59 crore on its first day. The report says that the mixed reviews is affecting the collection of the film in its second day and the exam season also taking its toll on Darwinte Parinamam. Jijo Antony’s first film Konthayum Poonoolum was a box office bomb and the success of this film Darwinte Parinamam is very much important to him more than anyone.

Prithviraj is looking to get the 5th success in a row in his career and there by equal the record of Mohanlal, who got such a unique record after 2005 in Mollywood and in fact he is the only star got that in Mollywood in last 10 years. So if this film becomes a success, then Prithviraj can make his name join that club as well along with Mohanlal.

Chemban Vindo and Prithviraj had given superb performances in the film as Darwin and Anil Anto. Let’s wait how the working days behave to the film after the weekend.
