The film is all set to release on this coming March 26 and the posters of the film is already going viral in social media. The anticipation for this film is mainly due to 3 reasons. One is that it is a Dulquer Salmaan film. The second one is that Sameer Thahir is making it after his film named Neelakasham Pacha Kadal Chuvanna Bhoomi with Dulquer Salmaan. And the third one is that Sai Pallavi is acting in this film as heroine after the sensational character named Malar, that she played in Premam. Traffic Hindi remake to release on April 29th

Traffic, the film that bring about a change in Mollywood is all set to speak Hindi and the Hindi remake of the film will release on April 29th this year. It had finished its shooting long back and the release was delayed due to some unknown reasons.

Now, Fox star studios announced that they are all set release this film on April 29th. The remake of this film is also directed by Rajesh Pillai who directed the Malayalam version of the film. Rajesh Pillai had passed way last month due to severe liver disease. He had completed and released the film Vettah, before his death and the film is running successfully now in Kerala.

The hindi version of the film Traffic has actors like Manoj Bajpayee. Jimmy Shergil, Prasonjit Chatterjee, Parambrata Chatterjee, Divya Dutta and Amol Parashar etc in lead roles. In Malayalam version, actors like Sreenivasan, Anoop Menon, Rahman, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Asif Ali etc played the lead roles. The hindi remake was produced by Deepal Dhar of Endemol India and the film will be presented to us by the popular Fox star studios.

The flick deals with the plot of a high intensity road trip from Mumbai to Pune, in a police car which carries a live heart to deliver in short amount of time which can save the life of a 13 year old girl, who is dying with heart failure.

Chiyaan Vikram starrer Iru Mugan is on its way !

Chiyan Vikram starrer film Iru Mugan is on its way and the third schedule of the film is all set to start from this March 20. The film crew had reached Chennai after the location visit at the snow clad valleys of Jammu and Kashmir. Anand Shankar directing this film and the producer of this flick is Shibu Thameens. Nayan Thara plays the female lead in this film and she will join the sets after finishing up her film with Karthi on 21st March.

8 huge sets had been made at 8 different places at Chennai for this upcoming film and the third schedule will end in the last week of May. This schedule will include the shoot at Tamil Nadu and Kashmir. The film will have a Bangkok schedule as well and before the starting of that schedule, the crew will come back to Chennai again for the filming of some parts. The crew is working hard without any intervals in between different schedules and they hopes that the result of their hard work and efforts will be rewarded with the success of the film when it comes to hit the screens.

Nayanthara will begin her shoot with a song sequence. There will be 3 songs featuring Vikram and Nayan Thara. One will be shot at Chennai and one will be at Kashmir. Action sequences are filmed in the first two schedules of the film. The music for this flick is tuned by Harris Jayaraj and lyrics were penned down by Karkki and Thamara. Brinda Master is the choreographer of the film as well.

This will be the next release of Vikram after the last year release named 10 Enradhukulla directed by Vijay Milton. It was not that big success and this one is very important for Vikram as a star. The film already invited the attention of the audience with its first look poster and stills which came out from the shooting spot. The title of the film also gives much hope to the fans and film lovers.

Right behind him, there is again Mohanlal, with more than 36 lakhs Facebook likes to his official Facebook page. Nivin Pauly at 3rd with 34 lakhs likes and Mammootty at 4th with 31 lakhs Facebook likes.

In twitter, Dulquer Salmaan has more than 3 lakhs followers as well. After acting in the Tamil film OK Kanmani, Dulquar had become very popular among the youngsters of Tamil Nadu and that really boosted his Facebook likes. Nivin Pauly also got that boost after the success of his film Premam in Tamil Nadu. But when we look at overall likes, it is actress Nazriya Nazim, Mia George, Amala Paul leading the way in Facebook likes with 72 lakhs, 57 lakhs, 53 lakhs likes respectively.

The popular annual cultural festival of NITC, named Ragam is all set begin and the event will start off with a social initiative taken by the students of NITC as a part of Ragam. The event is titled as Sneharagam and the heartwarming program will take place on March 13th. Calicut district collector N Prashant will be the chief guest of this event and NITC will host more than 200 differently abled students who are coming from the Malabar region of Kerala. Ragam 2016 will kick start with this event as well.

The event aims to spread joy and celebration and also carries forward the legacy of NITC to realize the needs of the society and the striving to meet them. The spirit of giving is the one which makes this event possible and for NITC students, this is very special and they keeps this close to their heart. For them this is a venture that touches lives of the fellow being around them and they like to carry out it with new spirit and thereby fulfill their duty to the society they live in with full of joy.

They conducts programs for the children with special needs. In the platform they set for them, they can showcase their talents in dancing, singing, acting and there are many other activities as well. It gives a sense of accomplishment and self-worth among them and it also tells to the society that they are also a part of our society and they should be given the care and support to accomplish their dreams.

As a part Sneha Ragam they conducts excursion for 140 children for the nearby orphanages to the regional science centers and planetarium. They also gives medical aid to the children from the fund they created through the selling of handmade card made by the volunteers. Their effortscan be called a life transforming experience and what they really do with their activities is that they bring smiles to the face of others. That is the biggest thing one can do in his life in this world. They are inviting us to be a part of that as well and we can also contribute to it with whatever ways that we can afford.

Prithviraj and Jayasurya shared best actor award declared by Producers association

Kerala Film Producers Association Award for the films released in last year was announced today. Prithviraj and Jayasurya had shared the best actor award for their performances in Ennu Ninte Moideen and Su Su Sudhi Vathmeekam respectively. Ennu Ninte Moideen directed by RS Vimal had won the award for best film and Jayaraj was chosen as the best director for his film Ottal. Parvathy is the best actress for her performances in films like Ennu Ninte Moideen and Charlie. The prize money for best actor, actress, director and movie will be 1 lakh rupees and for other awards, the prize money will be 50000 as well.

The awards will be distributed on April 13th at Angamaly Atlas convention center, said by Jury Chairman and Film Maker Bhadran, Producers association president G Suresh Kumar and General secretary M Renjith at press conference.
Prem Prakash and Sudheer Karamana shared the award for best character actor for Nirnnayakam and Urumbukal Urangarilla respectively. Lena won best character actress award for Ennu Ninte Moideen and Alif. Parvathy Ratheesh won the best debutant actress award for Madhura Naranga and Kumarakam Vasudevan and Master Ashant Sha shared best debutant actor award.

Best screenplay award went to Unni R and Martin Prakkat for Charlie and Jomon T John won the best cinematographer award. Best music director award went to Rajesh Murugan for Premam and Vijay Yesudas won the best male singer award for the song “Malare..” (Premam). Madhusree Narayan is the best female singer award and Alphonse Puthren won best editor award for Premam. Best debutant director award went to R S Vimal for Ennu Ninte Moideen and best producer award went to the producers of Ennu Ninte Moideen as well.

Costume designer award went to Sameera Saneesh for Charlie and best make up man award went to Ratheesh Ambady for Ennu Ninte Moideen. Best art director award went to Gokul Das for Ennu Ninte Moideen. Ennu Ninte Moideen is the film which had won most number of awards in this awards declared by producers association as well.

Renjith come out with a powerful reaction to the ban of Leela !

Director Ranjith who always known for his strong stand against issue in Mollywood once again come out with strong stand, this time against an issue which troubles his latest film Leela. Producers association is all set to ban Leela from screening it here in Kerala, as Renjith had went against them in the strike that they conducted 2 months back related to the remuneration issue of the technicians.

Ranjith who is also a member of producers association went on with the filming of his new film Leela, starring Biju Menon and written by Unni R, despite the producers association had ordered every members of their association to stop their production of movies. Ranjith who is also the producer of the film, continued the shoot agreeing to the remuneration percentage asked by the technicians association.

Ranjith had said that if he had not allowed to screen his film in theaters, he will make the CD’s of the film and will sell it by making a stall in front of the Producers association office. Renjith said that they are planning to release the film in this coming April and if they don’t get the permission to screen it, then they will look for other ways just like the one we just mentioned above. Producers Association president Suresh Kumar said that the action was taken against Renjith and his film by the committee conducted by the producers association unanimously as a part of the disciplinary action against him.

B Unnikrishnan, the General Secretary of Technicians association named FEFKA, said that they will try their maximum to solve the issue and will support Renjith in this matter. Leela was a film based on the story written by Unni R, years back and Unni R himself written the screenplay of this film as well. It is for the first time that Renjith is directed a movie written by some other. Usually he writes the screenplay of the films he directs as he himself is one of the most prolific screenplay writers in Mollywood.
