Ratheesh was one of the most popular actors in Kerala and he was quite famous here playing hero, villain and character roles as well. He had played some unforgettable characters in Mollywood and mainly his Villain roles were just superb. His villain roles in films like Rajavinte Makan which made Mohanlal super star and Commissioner which made Suresh Gopi, a super star was evergreen and highly appreciated.

Recently his son and daughter came in to Malayalam film industry as well. His son Padmaraj had come to Mollywood through Mammootty starrer film Fireman which was directed by Deepu Karunakaran. Padmaraj had played Villain role in it. His second film was also with Mammootty, playing again a villain role in that Marthandan directorial flick. His elder sister Parvathy Ratheesh came to Mollywood through Sugeeth directorial film Madhura Naranga, which had Kunchacko Boban and Biju Menon in the lead.

Now Ratheesh’s younger son Pranav is making his debut here in Mollywood as well through a film named Vakku. It is directing y Sujith who is also a new comer. But the interesting thing is that in this film his heroine will be his own elder sister Parvathy Ratheesh. In Mollywood this will be for the first time that a real life brother-Sister is playing hero-heroine in reel life.

In this film, Kamal Haasan’s elder brother Chandra Hasan’s daughter Anu Hasan also playing a key role. Madhu Ambat is the DOP of this film which is already started filming in Trivandrum.

Vijay and Ajith fans are at loggerheads in social media platforms through numerous troll pages. Now they decided that they will not troll each other and any actor in that sense. They says that there is lot more happening in politics and society, especially in North and they will focus on that rather than trolling and triggering fan fight. The good gestures showed by these actors had opened their eyes and they will be at peace from now on.

They said that don’t want to waste the young energy on fan fight and in fact they will try to direct that energy to something useful for the society in the light of what happened in Chennai now.

From the moment the pictures came from the set of Majnu, the Telugu remake of Premam, social media began to troll Sruthi Hasan as her look for the character of Malar was not at all impressed the film lovers. They even said that with those looks she can’t even come anyway near the performance of Sai Pallavi in the original version. People also said that Sruthi Hasan’s looks in the film suggested that the character will lose its depth and maturity as well in the Telugu version.

Those pictures not officially given by the team of the film. But it was leaked out from the set as many people, students etc gathered to watch the shooting clicked photos of her while she was in her costumes to play that character and they posted it in Facebook. Sruthi Hasan reportedly reacted to this saying that it will not affect the outcome of the character she plays.

Sruthi hasan says that it is one of the different roles she ever played in her career and the team of the film also thinks that her character will be a great surprise for the film lovers. The character does not have any masala and glamorous element associated with it unlike the characters usually played by Sruthi Hasan.

Now everyone is waiting for the outcome of all these hopes and expectation by the team behind the fim and Sruthi Hasan.

Unni Mukundan’s Style movie music was launched by Dileep

After the surprise success if the film named Ithihasa starred by shine tom Chacko, director Binu S is coming with his next film named Style which has Unni Mukundan in the lead. The audio launch of the film took place last day and popular actor Dileep had launched the audio and the music is out through Muzik247, the most popular music label in Kerala.

Actor Unni Mukundan, director Binu S, producer Rajesh Augustine, DOP Sinoj Ayyappan etc were at the function as well. The music director of this film is Jassie Gift and the album has 3 songs in it. The songs were penned by Hari Narayanan, Manu Manjith and Sathyan Anthikkadu. Haricharan, Swetha Mohan, Benny Dayal, Suchithra, Karthik etc were sung the songs as well.

The lead artists in the film is Unni Mukundan, Tovino Thomas, Balu Varghese etc and the heroine is a new face. She is a Mumbai based model named Priyanka Ghandwal. Anil Narayanan and Dominic Arun had written the screenplay of the film. Music was composed by Jassie Gift as said above and background scoring was done by Rahul Raj. Sinoj P Ayyappan had done the direction of Photography. Rajesh Augustine had financed the film under the banner of Arc Media and Lal jose’s LJ Films will distribute the film all over Kerala in December.

Muzik247 is the official music partner of the film and they are the best in Mollywood for the last few years and became part of most successful films of last two years as well. Premam, Vadakkan Selfie, Bangalore Days, Vikramadithyan, Iyyobinte Pusthakam, How old are you etc are some among them.

Premam was one of the biggest hit in Kerala this year and it had become super success in Tamil Nadu and Andhrapradesh as well. Now looking at the popularity it had got, the film is now remaking to Telugu with Naga Chaithanya playing the lead role in it. Malayalam version fame Anupama Parameshawaran will reprise her role in Telugu version as well and the character of Malar in Telugu version will be played by Shruti Haasan. It was in fact an unusual choice of casting.

In Malayalam version the character of Malar is played by Sai Pallvi, who was a newcomer and she had done a great job. In fact her character become instrumental in the success of the film. Prithviraj’s Pavada audio launched on December 7 through Muzik247

Prithviraj starrer film directed by G Marthandan titled as Pavada is all set to release on this month last or next year early part. The music launch of this film financed by Maniyan Pillai Raju had already taken place on December 7 at Kochi. The audio of the film is out through Muzik247 and it was small function as the team decided to cut the celebrations because of the Chennai floods. Muzik247 is one of the leading and most popular music partner in Malayalam cinema.

The function is blessed with presence of actors like Prithviraj Sukumaran, Kunjan, Kalabhavan Shajon, Maniyan Pillai Raju, actor/director Lal, Marthandan, Renjith, Amal Neerad, Anwar Rasheed, music director of this film Aby Tom Syriac, Muzik247 head of operations Mr, Saidh Sameer, script writer Benny P Nayarambalam, distributor Anto Joseph, producers like Ever shine Mani, M Renjith, Mathrubhoomi Marketing director M Sreyams Kumar etc. Many other crew members of the film also present there at the function.

They had made it a simple function and the money they had intended to use for the grand audio launch function was donated to Chennai flood relief fund by producer Maniyan Pillai Raju. Hari Narayanan penned the lyrics for this film and music was tuned by Aby Tom Syriac as we mentioned above. This film is financed by Maniyan Pillai Raju under his banner of Maniyan Pillai Raju productions. He had financed many films in the past as well and mostly with Mohanlal in the lead such as Aey Auto and Vellanakalude Nadu.

But she still didn’t use that money to revive the Moideen Seva Mandir and now blaming others.

RS Vimal said the even before the start of the film they had given 5 Lakhs of rupees to the Moideen Seva Mandir. Still she blaming them and also created all sorts of problem by filing case against them asking 5 crore as compensation. The court understood the innocence of the team and rejected her plea. Prithviraj to star in the Malayalam remake of Spanish film Timecrimes

Young super star Prithviraj had fantastic 2015, specially the last 4 months in this year with 3 consecutive successes. 2 of them are blockbuster hits and another is a super hit as well at box office. Apart from that many fabulous projects waiting for him next year which will equally challenge him as an actor and as a star. Now the latest on him says that he is going to be the lead in the Malayalam remake of a Spanish film named Timecrimes which is based on time travel.

As per reports Prithviraj himself will finance the film and it will be directed by debutant named Kannan. The remake rights of the film is already bought by him as per reports. The film revolves around the time-loop concept in which a middle aged man have to fight himself after got caught in a time continuum and it will be a bizzare thriller as well with regard to its concept. Sources says that the team behind the film is now looking for the artists to play the rest of the characters.

They are planning to start the film early next year and there are also reports that Prithviraj will add some weight to do the character as well. But there is a confusion regarding this news is that, there has been confirmed reports that Prithvi is all set to loss his weight for Aaadu Jeevitham which will be directed by Blessy and that film also all set to start next year early parts as well. This remake is not an officially confirmed one as of now.

He had releases like Paavda by Marthandan, Darvinte Parinamam by Jiju Antony etc for release early next year. Then he also had projects like James and Alice by Sujith Vasudev, Jeethu Joseph directorail film, Hariharan directorial film Symanthakam and a magnum opus named Kunchirakottu Kaali as well. Aaadu Jeevitham will also start next year and release only in 2018 as per reports.

Anyway hope that this time travel stuff will also be confirmed and we will have chance to see something very different on Silver screen as well.
