Pasanga 2 postponed and Bobby Simha’s Urumeen all set for a December 4 release

The much awaited Suriya-Amala Pauly starrer film Pasanga 2 direted by Pandiraj was earlier all set to release on December 4. The film which is coming after the critical and commercial success of the film Pasanga, had generated good anticipation. The trailer of the film raised the hype and everyone is expected a Tare Zameen Par like film from Kollywood this time. The presence of Suriya also raised the anticipation level. But the latest update on the film says that it has postponed its releasing date. But we not have to get disappointed as another promising film is releasing on the same date here and it is Bobby Simha starrer film Urumeen directed by Sakhthivel Perumal Swamy and written by him as well. He is a newcomer as well coming with his maiden venture.

The film which is touted as an action thriller is now having great expectation as the trailer of the film had received fantastic reception from all around. The film is getting great release all over as well. Audience expect another master class performance from National award winner Bobby Simha through this film as well. It will not wrong to say that after watching the trailer of both Pasanga 2 and Urumeen, the later one had generated more anticipation than the former one.

The film stars Bobby Simha, Reshmi Menon, Kalaiyarasan, Appu Kutty, Kaali Venkat etc in key roles. The film was financed by G Dillibabu. In Kerala it is distributed by Sun Ads and Film production which is under the ownership of TA Sundar Menon. They had earlier financed and distributed the Malayalam film named Ayal Njanalla this year, which was directed by Vineeth Kumar and starred by Fahad Fazil.

Pasanga 2 release date will be updated later with confirmation from the team behind the film. Apart from this one another Tamil flick named Sowkarpettai also postponed. It has Sreekanth and Lakshmi Rai in lead roles and it is touted as a horror film and it was directed by Vadivudaiyan. The release date of this film also updated later as per the latest reports.

Mathrubhoomi newspaper had published the news about tribal boys who are eating waste out of hunger. At that time no one gave much care about it. But when Mohanlal had written a blog on that issue, it went viral in social media and it had become a topic of interest and discussion in the medias. And now as a result of that government bodies are ordered for a detailed inquiry on the issue.

The honorable Minister who deals with the welfare of tribal people at first blamed the media as she said that the media is creating fake news to defame the Government. Related government organization is also stood with the minister against this issue. But when they understood that Media had all the proof for what they said and Mohanlal had made an impact on this issue through his blog, government went to the back foot and they have no other way than ordering an inquiry on this issue.

Anyway Mohanlal along with Mathrubhoomi newspaper had done a great job in bringing out such an issue and now we can hope that the tribal people will get so comfort from the government.

In Kerala we saw many such examples of Social Media spreads fake news about the death of many popular people. It is just like their hobby to spread false news that somebody is dead when he is alive. We saw that in the case of Salim Kumar and Mammukkoya.

The news of their death spread in social media like wildfire and at last they have to tell themselves to the people that they are alive. Seems very weird indeed if we think about the victims of these false news. And the latest one in this list is the Legendary Malayalam actor Jagathy Sreekumar. Today many posts spread in social media platforms like Facebook and Whatsapp that Jagathy Sreekumar is died of heart attack.

The news said that he was in one of his relative’s home while the death happened. The ones who created this fake news framed a photo with the logo and template of the news screen of a popular media channel in Malayalam telling that the news is true. When the photo spread with the screenshot like photo bearing the popular news channel logo, some people even believed it as well.

Jagathy’s daughter Sree Lakshmi Sreekumar posted in her Facebook page that she and her family members are really shocked by seeing this fake news is spreading. She says that they saw this post is spreading through Facebook and whatsapp and really worried. She told that people have to mind their own business rather than spreading such fake news about a person like Jagathy Sreekumar. She says that she don’t know why these people creating and spreading these false news about a person who is alive and recovering from a fatal injury.

Sree Lakshmi says that Jagathy Sreekumar, her Dad, is safe and healthy and she asked people to stop spreading the rumors. She appeals to the people that instead of spreading fake news we have to pray for his speedy recovery and come back.

Aadu Puliyattam film producer thrashes Jewel Mary’s claims !

An interesting even happening now in Malayalam film industry and the new heroine of Mollywood, Jewel Mary is the one who took the center part of this issue indeed. Jewel Mary is well known to Mini screen as well as big screen audience through Television Programs like D4 Dance in Mazhavil Manorama channel and through films like Uttopyayile Rajavu directed by Kamal and Pthermari directed by Salim Ahammad. Now Haseeb Haneef who financed Uttopyayile Rajavu along with Noushad Alathur had come out against Jewel Mary thrashing her claims about why she rejected the new film of this production team with Jayaram in the lead.

This production team’s new film is titled as Aadu Puliyattam directed by Kannan Thamarakkulam had started its shoot in Thodupzha. It’s a horror film starring Jayaram, Remya Krishnan and Ompuri in Key role. Earlier there was a news that Jewel Mary is approached first by the producer of this film to play the female lead in this. But he rejected the film saying that she did not want to act with Jayaram. That time it was a controversy. Later she gave an interview to Manorama and said that she had rejected the film not because of Jayaram but because of the bad storyline of the film.

But now the producer Haseeb Haneef himself came out with the truth behind the issue thrashing her arguments. He said to Onlookers Media that when he approached her with this film he had rejected it even without hearing the story and she said that she don’t want to act with Jayaram as he is too old for her. She also told him that if Fahad Fazil is the hero of the film, then she can act in it. Now she is telling that she pulled out of it due to its bad story. Haseeb haneef asks that she is telling absolute lie as she had not even heard the single line of the story as she rejected when she heard that Jayaram is the hero of the film. Then how she can tell about the storyline..?

It is very interesting that she had acted as Mammootty’s heroine in her first two films and Mammootty is much older than Jayaram in fact. The behavior of Jewel Mary to the producer with whom she had worked once is really now placed her in a bad light as well. Now we have to wait as to see where this attitude takes her in her career which just started now.

Director Bharathan reveals details about Vijay 60

The news is already gone viral that director Bharathan will be the one who is going to direct the 60th film of Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay aka Vijay 60. Even though many notable directors want to direct the next one of Vijay. He chose Bharathan as he was very much impressed by the screenplay written by him. Bharathan had already worked with Vijay twice in his career. He had written the dialogues for Vijay film Gilli which was one of the mega success of his career. Later he directed a film with him as well and it was Azhagiya Tamil Magan. Even though the film was not a big success Bharathan’ skill was appreciated. Now director Bharathan opens his mind about the upcoming film of him with Vijay in the lead.

He says that it is still not decided who will play the female lead in this film. Other artists are not yet decided as well. But he says that Vijay’s look in this film will be as handsome as he looked in Bharathan’s earlier film Azhagiya Tamil Magan. He also said that the film will be a complete visual treat with all entertaining elements that every kind of viewers expect from a Vijay film. The technical side of the film consist of Madhie as camera man and Praveen K L as editor. The music director and other will be decided later.

Bharathan had written the dialogues for Siva’s Ajith starrer film Veeram last year and this upcoming film of Bharathan with Vijay in the lead will financed by the producers of Veeram under the banner of Vijaya productions as well. Vijay is completing the Atlee film now in Chennai in which he is a Police officer. It has Samantha and Amy Jackson as female leads.

Atlee is famous for his film Raja Rani with Arya, Jai, Nayan Thara and Nazriya in the lead role which was a super success at box office.Vijay is looking forward to this film as he wants to recover as quickly as possible from the failure his film Puli recently which was the biggest film of his career till now.

Mohanlal- Jr NTR starrer Telugu film which is now making the buzz in south Indian film industry is all set to start Early next year and the film is titled as Janatha Garage. The film will be directed by Koratala Siva who had directed two films and two of them are blockbusters there. His last film was the second highest grosser of Telugu Film Industry which released this year and the film was Sivamanthudu starred by Mahesh Babu. He always look for great onscreen combinations in his film. In his first film Mirchi, it was Prabhas and Sathya Raj. In his second film Sivamanthudu, it was Mahesh Babu and Jagapathi Babu. Premam is still in news in south Indian film industry. The Alphonse Puthren directorial Nivin Pauly starrer was really one of the most discussed south Indian film of this year. The success of the film was attributed to the direction of Alphonse Puthren, the market value of Nivin Pauly and the waves made by the lead heroines of the film as well. Actresses like Anupama Parameshwaran, Sai Pallavi, and Madonna Sebastain made their debut in film industry ever memorable with the performance in the film.
