Nivin Pauly slowly becoming a saleable star in Tamil Nadu as well with the success of his last film Premam there. It was not just a success nut a big one there as well. The film had completed 185 days yesterday at Tamil Nadu in Sathyam Cinemas. Now because of his raising star value there, his Malayalam films were all set to be dubbed in Tamil and release there. As a first step to that his Malayalam film named The Metro which was financed by Dileep is already dubbed to Tamil language and will be releasing there on December 11 this year. They are presenting him as the Premam fame Young star Nivin Pauly in the movie posters of the dubbed film and in Tamil version the film is titled as Thennindian.

The Metro was an action thriller which was released in Malayalam in 2011 directed by Bipin Prabhakar and financed by actor Dileep under his banner of Grand production. It was written by Vyasan Edavanakkadu and it had a great star cast including Kollywood star Sarath Kumar, Nivin Pauly, Bhagath Manuel, Biyon, Suraj Venjarammoodu, Arun, Bhavana etc. But after all this great team the film was financial flop in Kerala box office. Nivin Pauly was only in the beginning stage of his career at that time. The presence of Sarath Kumar also prompted the Tamil financers of the film to release it in Tamil as it can also add to the attraction of Tamil audience.

In Tamil it is financed by Maruthi Films International owned by N Muthu Kumar and it is getting releasing centers in all major places like Salem, Trichy, Chennai, Madhurai, Kovai etc as well. It was Alphonse Puthren’s first film named Neram which given the first opportunity for Nivin Pauly to shine in front of Tamil audience as the film was made both in Malayalam and Tamil. It was received well in Tamil Nadu.

Later the Anjali Menon film Bangalore days which has Fahad Fazil and Dulquer Salmaan along with Nivin also made an impact in Tamil Nadu and thereby Nivin Pauly become popular there.

Mollywood’s most popular and talented actress Manju Warrier had filed a complaint in Cyber Cell of Kerala Police against the online medias which spread the fake news about her personal life. For last few days there are some reports came about her love affair with an Ad film Maker. Some online medias spread these news through their social mMedia page and all that. Cyber Cell had already started investigation following her complaint on this matter.

Manju Warrier after her divorce from actor Dileep, is very active in films and advertisements. She had done Kalyan Jeweler’s ad with Aishwarya Rai and Amitab Bachchan which was very popular and it was directed by Sreekumar. The news which said to have spread in the name of Manju Warrier had placed Sreekumar as her love interest. The news said that she is in love with this Ad film Maker and he is also a divorcee. His wife had reportedly attempted suicide after she come to know his affair with Manju Warrier as per the news spread in wocial mMedia.

Anyway sources close to Manju denied all this and now she had lodged complaint as well. She is very active in films and had made some successes as well after her coming back to Mollywood such as How Old Are You and Ennum Eppozhum. Her last film Rani Padmini got her good critical appreciation as well. Another film of her named Jo and The Boy will release in this coming Christmas season.

Manju and Dileep got separated due to the relationship of Dileep with actrerss Kavya Madhavan as per rumors even though both Dileep and Kavya Madhavan denied it and said that they were just friends. Dileep-Mannju warrier couple’s daughter Meenakshi chose to live with her father Dileep as well. Sreekumar is the one who had made the gigantic marriage arrangements of Ravi Pillai’s daughter few days back along with Sabu Cyril and there has been also reports that he is planning to make M T Vasudevan Nair’s Randamoozham on big screen with Mohanlal in the lead as well.

Malgudi Days, from the day of its announcement it had given a unique feel to our audience. At first it’s the title itself. Because we all are fond of RK Narayan’s literary piece named Malgudi Days and later we loved it when it came on mini screen as well. Even though this Malayalam film had nothing to do with that story of RK Narayan, the title gives a sweet nostalgic feel to everyone who heard it.

Then the thing which gave a unique feel to the movie Malugudi days is that it is directing by a trio of Visakh, Vivek and Vinod. They had scripted the film as well. We heard lot of director duos but may it is the first time that we are hearing a director trio. Yes, of course we heard a film directed by many directoirs as unit wise direction as in Manichithra Thazhu. But it’s headed by Fazil and it’s his film. But this time the credit is for all three of them and it will be coming in the name of these three.

The film which has Anoop Menon and Bhama playing the lead is touted as an emotional thriller with enough suspense elements in it. The story is set in the backdrop of a residential school (Malgudi NPS). The main characters in this film is Zephan played by Anoop Menon who is an artist and his wife character named Janet played by Bhama. There are two children named Atheena and Milan played by Janaki and Vishal as well and they were the 4th standard students of the school Malgudi NPS. The school is a fictitious one which situated in the hill area of the Idukki district of the state Kerala. As per reports the story is based on a real life incident that happened in the year 2002 in Kerala.

Actors such as Priyanka,TP Madhavan, irshad, Nobi, Saiju etc playing key roles in the film along with Anoop Menon and Bhama. The flick is financed by V Company and distributed by them as well through Murali Films. Anil Nair is the DOP of this film which will come to screen in January 2016. Dr. Praveen is the music composer of this film and Shaijal P V is the editor.

The tagline of this movie named Malgudi days is that “Oro Koodi Kazhchayum oru niyogamanu”.

Ennu Ninte Moideen team again to join for a 45 crore budget film

Ennu Ninte Moideen released on this year September had already on its way to become the second biggest hit of Malayalam cinema history. As per reports this RS Vimal directorial flick starring Prithviraj and Parvathy Menon in the lead is all set to surpass Alphonse Puthren’s Nivin Pauly film named Premam in its box office collections from Kerala. Even though not an official report, the film said to be only 60 lakhs or something away from becoming the 2nd biggest hit of Mollywood ever. Only Drishyam is in front of it if Moideen surpasses Premam.

But breaking Drishyam record seems impossible as per the theater status of Ennu Ninte Moideen now. But they are all set to come up with a big film in the coming year or so which can have the potential to become the biggest ever film in its budget as well as reach. As per reports the Ennu Ninte Moideen team is uniting again for a 45 crore budget big film.

Director RS Vimal told to media recently that Prithviraj will play the hero of his next film as well and it will be a 45 crore budget big film. If it happens it will become the highest budget film ever made in Malayalam cinema history as of now. The director also said some details about the storyline of the film. The film will have historical significance as it will be telling a story related to Mahabharatha. The main character will be one from the Epic of Mahabharatha. Ganga River Side and Haridwar will be the main locations of this film which will be financed by a financer named Venu. The shoot will start next year and it will have popular actors from Kollywood as well along with Prithviraj.

Earlier Prithviraj announced a project through Facebook page, which will be based on the life and sacrifice of the fighter of Venad named Kunchirakkottu Kaali. But he did not told any details regarding the film except the name of Kunchirakottu Kaali on whom the film will be made.

Mollywood Blockbuster hit Premam directed by Alphonse Puthren and starred by Young star Nivin Pauly had terminated in Kerala after playing around 125 days but it is still making it presence felt in Kollywood. The film is still running in Tamil Nadu with good collections specially in the holidays. In the famous multiplex named Sathyam Cinemas in Chennai, Premam is still running with good status on its 185th day as well. The film will cross 200 days there as per reports and that will be history of Malayalam cinema as well.

The film has been the second biggest grosser of Malayalam Cinema history after Mohanlal’s Drishyam. But made more impact in Tamil Nadu than Drishyam. It is surely because of the youth oriented subject the film told including romance and youthful songs and comedy. The spreading of censor copy of the film marred its run here in Kerala. The collection also got affected. But it seems that in Tamil Nadu it was not affected the film. Alphonse Puthren- Nivin Pauly teams’s first film Neram also was a hit in Tamil Nadu and also Nivin- Dulquer Salmaan- Fahad starrer Anjali Menon film Bangalore Days also done good business there.

It seems that Nivin Pauly’s market was raising in fast pace in Tamil Nadu as well. The talks are going on about the remake of Premam in Tamil. Earlier there was reports that Dhanush is going remake it in Tamil with Vijay Sethupathy. But later Dhanush himself denied that news through his social media profile. The film is now making in Telugu in the title Majnu. It has Naga chaithanya in the lead role along with Sruthi Hasan and Anupama Parameshwaran who reprising the same character she had done in the Malayalam version.

The Tamil Remake may be not going to materialize in this situation in which the Malayalam version is running there with good acceptance. Even Selva Raghavan said that it cannot be remade in to Tamil as he thinks no others can do justice to this film other than Alphonse Puthren, Nivin Pauly etc who had just gave their best use skills for the film.

As per reports he had donated 25 Lakhs Rupees to the flood relief fund of Tamil Nadu. Many popular people are coming with their help for the people who suffered lose due to the flood there and this act by Suriya can inspire many others to follow his path as well. For the last few weeks Tamil Nadu is suffering with flood related problems due to the heavy rains there and the city of Chennai has been suffered great problems with the lashing downpour.

Now it seems that the heavy rains had settled down a bit and it’s the time for rehabilitation as well starting relief activities. Many other film personalities like Anirudh Ravichander, Captain Vijaya Kanth, Raghava Laerence, Vishal etc given money as their contribution to the relief fund.

Suriya given the 25 lakh amount on the behalf of his family and it was collected by the Nadigar Sangham President of Tamil Nadu, Mr. Nasser. The amount was received by Nasser from Suriya at his home.

It has been a great news when it came in social media that master director SS Rajamouli is planning a film named Garuda based on the story of Mahabharatha after he completes the second part of Bahubali. The news becomes even bigger when some reports came that the universal star Mohanlal will play one of the major roles in the film. It is said that Mohanlal will play the character of Bheema in that film based on Mahabharatha.

There has reports that it will be a 1000 crore rupees project with a multi-Star cast from every major film industries in India. Mohanlal was the choice of SS Rajamouli as per reports because he is the biggest star in Malayalam as well as the best actor we have today in India. SS Rajamouli also expressed earlier that he is a great fan of Mohanlal for long years and he definitely want to work with this stunning actor as well. Years ago he planned a film with Mohanlal in the lead but it dropped because of some unknown reasons. But now SS Rajamouli speaks about the actual status of the film Garuda.

SS Rajamouli told to media that all the reports such as the 1000 crore budget and all that about Garuda is just a fake news. Even though he had this film in his mind , he is not thinking about it now as he is fully concentrating on the works of the part 2 of Bahubali. He also said that there may be chance for Bahubali 3 as well, but not decided upon it till now. When asked about Mohanlal’s presence in his Garuda, he said that Mohanlal is his most favourite actor and he surely want to work with him. But Rajamouli tactically slipped away without answering the question that whether Mohanlal will play a major role in Garuda or not. So it just looks like there is chance that as per earlier report Mohanlal may play the lead role in the film and they all want to announce it as a surprise to all in the coming years after Bahubali 2.

Now SS Rajamoulikeeping his silence about Mohanlal’s participation on the film. Anyway Mohanlal is doing two Telugu films next year. One is with Chandra Shekahr Yeleti and another is with Koratala Siva. Chandra Shekhar Yeleti is a national award winning director as well.

On December 4, another Tamil film is preparing for grand release here in Kerala. It is not a film from any big stars from the Tamil film industry but surely from a rising star from there who even got national recognition as well for his great acting skills. He is popular in Kerala as well through one highly successful film in which he played villain role. It’s none other than Bobby Simha who is very much popular here through his character Vatti Raja from the film named Neram released in 2013. It was directed by Alphonse Puthren and lead role was played by Nivin Pauly.

Now Bobby Simha is making a mark here with the grand release of his film Urumeen which is directed by Sakhthivel Perumal who is a newcomer. The director himself scripted the film as well. This action thriller is distributing here by Sun Ads and film production owned by TA Sundar Menon who had produced and distributed Fahad Fazil film Ayal Njanalla earlier this year in Malayalam. That film also was the first venture of Vineeth Kumar as a director. Now he is distributing the film Urumeen from another newcomer and that too a grand release.

The film had already generated great anticipation amomg the viewers as its trailer was promising and got a fantastic reception from people all over and specially in social media it had really made an impact among film lovers. The film stars Reshmi Menon and Kalaiyarasu apart from Appu Kutty and Kaali Venkat who also playing key roles. The expectation level on the film is also high because Bobby Sinha had received national award for his performance in the Tamil flick Jigarthanda starred by Sidharth and people expects now classy entertainer like that from now.

Urumeen is said to be entertaining as well as classy at the same time and the trailer gives strength to that hope as well. Ennu Ninte Moideen to become the second biggest hit after Drishyam by beating Premam soon

Ennu Ninte Moideen directed by debutant RS Vimal and starred by young super star Prithviraj and Parvathy Menon is all set become the second biggest grosser from Kerala Box office after Mohanlal starrer film Drishyam directed by Jeethu Joseph. Ennu Ninte Moideen will beat Premam Kerala gross may be within a week and will become the second in the list after Drishyam. But we still don’t know the worldwide collection status of Ennu Ninte Moideen to judge whether it is the second biggest worldwide grosser film behind Drishyam or not. Because Drishyam got 66 cr+ worldwide gross in total and Premam got near 60 crores from worldwide collections. But in Kerala gross only it is almost sure that Ennu Ninte Moideen will surpass Premam.

Drishyam had made 44 cr+ from Kerala alone and Premam had made near 41 cr from Kerala alone. Ennu Ninte Moideen has just crossed rupees 40 crore in Kerala box office and now running around 30 A class theaters and almost around same number of B and C class theaters as well. The collections are average now but it will get enough time before major December releases to just surpass Premam Kerala Gross. But beating Drishyam in Kerala gross seems to be an impossible task as it need more than 4 crore rupees from now on. It is quite difficult to earn that much from this less number of screens with an average collection.

And also the December is going to witness at least 12 Malayalam releases along with Tamil and Hindi films in Kerala and that will surely terminate Ennu Ninte Moideen from all major centers. That’s why we said that beating Drishyam gross seems an uphill task for this one. But being the second biggest grosser of all-time is not at alla bad thing and in fact it is a great achievement for a class film from a debutant director and a young star.

The film had really gave Prithviraj a new life after a series of flops in recent times as well. And from now on, it will be like Drishyam, Ennu Ninte Moideen and Premam in the top 3 list.
