Reshmi Nair and Rahul Pashupalan is the hot topic discussed in media right now after they had been arrested by the police on the charge of online women trade. They both were the leaders of the event named kiss of love campaign in which they encouraged public kissing in Kerala. On that way both of them are very much popular here and now their fall has been celebrating in the social media circles. While police were interrogating her, Reshmi Nair told them that it was due to the financial debt they had to suffer because of cinema, they ended up in the alleged crime situation.

Reshmi says that they had done all this to escape from the debt that caused by a film named Pling which Rahul Shishupalan is all set to direct. The story and screenplay of the film was written by Reshmi herself. Their film announcement had become popular as well because they got even international attention with the kiss of love strike and the photo in which they are kissing in public while in the custody of police has got great coverage through medias as well.

The theme of their film was the kiss of love strike and also the coming elections to the legislature of Kerala. They had already begun the shooting of the film as well. Rahul Sishupalan and Reshmi were classmates in an Engineering college in Chennai. They met there 7 years ago and become friends. Later friendship gave way to love affair and they began to live together. They got married later and have a son of 6 years old as well.

Anarkali Collection Report : 4.5 cr in 5 days from Kerala

Prithviraj is making merry in box office and for the last 2 months he is ruling Kerala Box office like never before. It seems like he is making this November also under his control with the latest release of him named Anarkali directed by Sachy is getting good response from the audience as well as from the critics. The box office response is also great as per early estimates. As per the early Analysis by trade guides, the film had got rupees 3.25 cr+ gross from its first three days. That is a super opening as well. As per trade guides the film had grossed around 4.5 crores from its first 5 days of theatrical run.

On its first day it had earned a figure around 1.10 crore. Second day the collection just dropped and it had earned a figure around 1 crore and on Sunday which happens to be its third day, it had got a collection around 1.20 crore rupees. The Holidays showing great increase in the collection. The positive reports will help it to sustain a steady collection in working days as well. Even though rain is affecting the evening show collections it may sustain a good collection due to the crowd response.

Prithviraj had already recorded two blockbusters through Ennu Ninte Moideen and Amar Akbar Anthony. Now through Anarkali also he is making success. A unique thing in this success has to be mentioned. Ennu Ninte Moideen was directed by RS Vimal and he is a debutant. Same is the case with Amar Akbar Anthony. It is also directed by a debutant named Nadirsha. Now the latest one named Anarkali follows the same path as it is the maiden directorial venture of popular script writer Sachy. The success of Prithviraj with newcomers had really given inspiration to many young aspiring film makers in Mollywood.

His Ennu Ninte Moideen had said to be grossed around 50 cr Rupees in its worldwide run and Amar Akbar Anthony had earned more than 30 cr in its run all over. Now Anarkali is making its mark in box office as the business done by Prithviraj films in this two and half month is more than 80 crore in Mollywood.

Ajith’s had done it this time and that too with great pace. Yes, we are talking about the collection of his latest release named Vedalam directed by Siva which released on this Deewali season. The film had got mixed response but the collection is telling that it is very much appealed the common audience all over. As per the latest reports from trade pundits, the film had grossed over 100 crore rupees from worldwide and that too in just 8 days of its theatrical run. It is a record as well because it is the fastest to enter in 100 crore club in Tamil Cinema History.

It is now joins the club of fastest 100 crore film in kollywood along with Rajinikanth’s Enthiran, Linga and Vikarm’s I. But Vedalam is more strong because all the above mentioned three films were solo releases at that time. But Vedalam was not like that as it has great competition from none other than Ulaga Nayakan Kamal Haasan starrer flick Thoongavanam which is also doing well with positive reviews. From Tamil Nadu alone, vedhalam had grossed above 60 crore rupees in just 8 days and we have to consider the fact of high competition from Thoongavanam as well as the bad weather condition that prevailing in Tamil Nadu. Even after the heavy rains there people are pouring into the cinema halls to watch Vedalam.

From Karnataka it has grossed around 7 crore rupees and from Kerala it had got above 5 crore as well. In Kerala the film had received many negative reviews but still it got the box office collection that had eluded previous Kollywood big flicks that released this year like Mass and Puli. It had only released its Tamil version all over and from other regions of India it had raked in 2 crore rupees approximately.

In Andhra Pradesh and Telengana, the film is not yet released as well. From the overseas market it had grossed more than 26 crores rupees and the major part of the collection has come from Malaysia and Gulf countries as usual.

Prithviraj, Nivin Pauly and Parvathy Menon won Asiavision Awards 2015

Asiavision Awards of the year 2015 had announced and the main honors went to the young stars of Mollywood. Prithviraj had won the best actor award for his performance in Ennu Ninte Moideen and Nivin Pauly had won the man of the year award for his awesome performance in the box office with Oru Vadakkan Selfi and Premam. Parvathy Menon had won best actress award for her performance in Ennu Ninte Moideen as Kanchanamala. Amala Paul had won the outstanding performer of Mollywood with her performance in Mili.

The awards will be distributed on December 2, the UAE national day, at Sharjah Cricket stadium. The highlight of the award ceremony is that we will all get the chance to see Bollywood stars like Abhishek Bachchan, Imran Khan, Jackie Shroff and Tabu rubbing the shoulders with Mollywood young guns like Prithviraj, Nivin Pauly and Amala Paul.

Abhishek Bachchan had won the award for Excellence in Indian Cinema and Tabu had won the honor for outstanding performance in Hindi. Young star Imran Khan was chosen as the Youth Icon of Indian Cinema and veteran actor Jackie Shroff had won the award for outstanding performance in Hindi in male section. Ennu Ninte Moideen had won the award for Best Film and RS Vimal had won the award for best director and screen writer for the same film as well.

Tovino Thomas also won the best supporting actor award for his performance in Ennu Ninte Moideen. Premam is selected as the most popular film and Amar Akbar Anthony is selected as the best entertainer of the year. Alphonse Puthren and Nadirsha will get the honors for that. Sai Pallavi and Neeraj Madhav had won the new sensation in acting in female and male section respectively. Aju Varghese won the best character actor award and Chemban Vinod had won the award for best in comedy roles.

Best cinematography award went to Jomon T john and music direction award gone to Biji Pal. Vineeth Sreeniavasan chosen as best male singer and Sujatha won best female singer award. Outstanding film award went to 36 vayathinile and Roshen Andrews will receive the honor. Jyothika had won the best actress in Tamil for that film. Yesudas, K G George, Nedumudi Venu etc won the Life time achievement awards as well. Jewel Mary won the new face award Nithya Menon won the sensational performer of the year award. Gopi Sundar won most popular music director and award for Best background score as well. G Prajith chosen as best debut director and Hari Shankar won best new promising singer award. New sensation in singing award went to Maqbool Mansoor and special performance award went to Reenu Mathews as well.

Harshali Malhothra won the best child artist award and Akshara Haasan won the most promising actress in Hindi award. KS Chithra and haricharan won best female and male singer in Tamil respectively and best lyricist award went to BK Harinarayan. Performer of the year award from Telugu went to Rana Dagubati as well. Best artistic film award went to Sanal Kumar Sasidharan’s Oral Pokkam and best critically acclaimed film on Expatriate affairs went to Salim Ahammad’s Pathemari as well.

After so much anticipation, the Dulquer Salmaan-Sai Pallavi film had started rolling from yesterday. The film is directing by Sameer Thahir and it is his second project with Dulquer Salmaan in the lead after the film Neelakasham Pacha Kadal Chuvanna Bhoomi. Even though that film had got great critical appreciation, it did not do much well in box office. The shooting of the film had started in Ernakulam yesterday. Dulquer Salmaan is waiting for the release of his Martin Prakkat directorial film named Charlie, which will come on December 11 and he is also completed the first schedule of his Rajeev Ravi directorial untitled film.

Sai Pallavi is making a comeback to silver screen after her first film named Premam which was a stunning success here and had become the second highest grosser in Mollywood. Mega Star Mammootty is all set to romance on silver screen again and it will be in Uday Ananthan directorial film named White which had started in London. The most part of this romantic film will be shot in and around London as well. The story of the film revolved around the romance of a middle aged man named Prakash Roy and Mammootty is playing that character.

Prakash Roy is romancing a girl named Roshni and the character of Roshni is playing by Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi. She is popular in Bollywood through films like Badlapur, Gangs of Vasseypur, Dedh Ishqiya etc and making her South Indian movie debut through this film. At first Trisha was the choice of the team behind the film and later Mammootty suggested the name of Huma Qureshi to do the female lead in this film.

he Shoot of the film will be in and around London for almost one and half month. It will have locations like Budapest, Bangalore and Kochi as well. This will be Uday Ananthan’s 3rd Malayalam film. He had earlier done two films and they are Mrithyunjayam and Pranaya Kaalam. Mrithyunjayam was one of the film among the 10 films in the anthology film named Kerala Cafe and it was a horror film. Pranaya Kaalam was a romantic film starring Ajmal Ameer and Vimala Raman and it was their debut as well. Uday Ananthan had worked as an assistant director to popular Film Maker Renjith in the Mammootty starrer flick named Pranchiyettan and the Saint.

The screenplay of this film is written jointly by Uday Ananthan, Praveen Balakrishnan and Nandini Valsan. Bipin Chandran who wrote the dialogues of films like Daddy Cool by Aashiq Abu and Best Actor by Martin Prakkat is penned the dialogues for this film as well. Ouseppachan is the music director of this film and it is financing by Eros International. Actress Meera Nandan also playing an important role in this film.

Mammootty’s next release will be Puthiya Niyamam directed by AK Sajan and as per reports it will hit the screens on November first week.

Mohanlal to do a blind character in Priyadarshan film ?

A report coming in about the Priyadarshan directorial Mohanlal starrer film next year and it is a really interesting news as it says that Mohanlal will play the character of a blind man in this film. Usually Priyadarshan-Mohanlal films are weaved in the thread of comedy and Priyadarshan had given some great class action films as well with Mohanlal in the lead like Arayn, Abhimanyu, Awaitham etc and also historical period film like Kalapani as well. As per the report this upcoming film of Priyadarshan will have Mohanlal playing a blind man who is working as a lift operator. The story of the film said to be revolving around a murder that happens in a flat.

As per the reports from sources close to this team, this character has the potential to become one of the best characters in Mohanlal’s career and a really great performance oriented role as well. The scripting of this film said to be doing by a newcomer from Thrissur and reports says that Antony Perumbavoor will finance this film under the banner of Ashirvad Cinemas. Scripting is not yet completed and they are planning to start the film early next year as per the completion of the script.

Priyadarshan is all set to give his friend and favorite actor Mohanlal, one of the most different character he ever gave to him. Mohanlal had playe the character of a blind man earlier as well. It was the 1997 film name Guru which was directed by Rajeev Anchal. That film was also chosen as India’s official entry to Oscar award as well.

Priyadarshan will have another project with Mohanlal as well which will be a big budget film with a cost about 28 crore rupees and will shot fully in Russia. That film also said to be a next year project but ate is not yet confirmed as a lot of big and small projects are waiting for Mohanlal. Salman Khan’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo created record at box office !

Salman Khan is once again proving that in Bollywood he is the real king when it comes to box office. He holds several records in Bollywood box office with highest number of 200 crore films in his kitty as well as the 2nd highest grossed film Bajarangi Bhaijan which is only behind Aamir Khan’s PK. Bajrangi Bhaijan had grossed above 650 crore rupees and PK had grossed around 750 crore rupees. After breaking and making records this year with Bajrangi Bhaijan, Salman khan is back again with his Deewali release named Prem Ratan Dhan Payo directed by Soorej Barjatya. The film has got mixed reviews from critics but the audience seems to have loved this film a lot. The collection report says so.

The film had created a new opening day record as it had earned more than 40 crore rupees on its first day breaking the opening day record held by Sharukh Khan starrer flick Happy New Year. The next day it had broken another record as well. The highest two day total gross in Bollywood was got by Salman khan’s own Bajrangi Bhaijan this year amassing 63 crore+ in two days from India alone. But Prem Ratn Dhan Payo had surpassed it by making 71 crores from 2 days as it had raked in 31 crore from its second day after the record breaking first day.

On its 3rd day itself it is almost sure that the film will hit the 100 crore mark quite comfortably and that will be another record as well for Salman Khan. The film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is a colorful family entertainer and Salman Khan’s performance is the highlight of the film. It is a double dhamaka for Salman Khan fans as he is in double role in this film. Sonam Kapoor is the female lead in this movie and it also has Niel Nitin Mukesh as well in key role.

The film had released in 4500 screens in India alone and 1100 screens outside as well. The collection we said here was got from its Hindi version alone and the total worldwide gross will make it go further high as well.
