Old man died in theater while watching Telugu horror film !
It was really sad and shocking indeed. We saw many claims from horror film makers that challenges viewers to watch their film alone. There are rewards as well for them who are to watch horror films alone and many people had won it as well despite the film produces tremendous horror effect.
Recently the makers of Tamil horror film named Maya starring Nayantara also offered Rupees 5 Lakh or so for people who dare to watch the film sitting alone in theater. We did not hear much about people die of horror effect of the movie while watching it. But in Hyderabad last that sad and shocking incident occurred as well. An old man found dead inside theater in which a horror comedy film named Raju Gari Gadhi was playing. His dead body was found after the show was over and he had died while watching the show.
His name was Amarnath and he was 55 years old. The film was running at the Metro theatre, Old City, Hyderabad. The man is from Bahadurpura and he was watching the morning show of the film there. He was found dead there after the show was completed as someone spotted him left there alone. The matter was informed to the family of Amarnath after police had arrived at the scene as well. The director of the film was Omkar and he was really shocked after hearing the incident. He expressed his condolence and also offered 1 lakh rupees for the family members of the man who dead while watching his film.
Actors such as Aswin, Dhanya Balakrishna, Shamna Kasim (Poorna), Chetan etc were the lead artists in the above mentioned movie and it was released just a day before Dasara. And the reports saying that the film is running with packed houses there and already adjudged as a success in box office. We heard about such incidents regarding some Hollywood horror flicks and it is first time that this type of an incident is featuring the news headlines in India. Many deaths due to the accidents while trying to watch super star films has been reported many times earlier all over india.
Dulquer Salmaan-Amal Neerad film to start next year January
An exciting news is coming for Dulquer Salmaan fans and Amal Neerad fans as these two are joining together for a film next year. As per reports the Amal Neerad directorial film with Dulquer Salmaan in the lead will begin next year January. Dulquer Salmaan had acted in one Amal Neerad film before. It was Kullante Bharya which was one of the segment in anthology film named 5 Sundarikal which was directed by 5 different directors. Dulquer had played a character who is on wheel chair in that segment of 5 Sundarikal in which Reenu Mathews played the title character of the wife of the dwarf.
Amal Neerad said that his upcoming film with Dulquer Salmaan will not be usual Amal Neerad film which tells gangster stories or something like that. Instead, it will be a feel good and fun filled movie which will be a welcome change from the director. Amal Neerad says that this flick will be very much colorful and very youthful as well with lots of fun elements included in it. The screenplay of this coming film will be written by Gopan Chidambaram who wrote the script of Amal Neerad’s previous flick Iyyobinte Pusthakam. A newcomer named Sreejith also co-writing the script along with Gopan Chidambaram.
Dulquer Salmaan had completed Charlie directed by Martin Prakkat which has Parvathy Menon in the lead. Now he is busy with the work of Rajeev Ravi directorial film which is not titled yet. After that comes the Sameer Thahir film which will have Sai Pallavi in the lead along with Dulquer Salmaan. Reports says only after that Dulquer Salmaan will join the Amal Neerad flick and as of now it will start rolling from the second week of January 2016.
Amal Neerad is popular for his stylish way of film making and for his stupendous camera work as a cinematographer as well. He ha begun with Mega star Mammootty film Big B, then done Universal star Mohanlal film named Sagar Alias Jacky. He also done films with Prithviraj named Anwar and films like Bachelor Party and Iyyobinte Pusthakam. In these films he worked with actors like Asif Ali, Indrajith, Rahman, Kalabhavan mani, Jayasurya, Lal, Fahad Fazil etc as well.
Mohanlal-Junior NTR to team up in a telugu film next ?
Mohalal, the with which every other actor, director and technicians in India love to work and dream work with seems to be crossing the barriers of language and all set to stamp his authority in all main film industries in India. As you all know he is the best when it comes to star value and acting range in Mollywood. But now-a-days other film industries too want to make him play key characters in their production as they want to work with this great and legendary actor from M-Town. As Dhanush said at SIIMA awards, Mohanlal is the most precious property of Kerala but he is a pride of our nation as well. The new reports coming in says that Mohanlal has been approached by the Telugu director Koratala Siva to play a crucial role in Junior NTR starrer upcoming film.
As per reports the film is an emotional thriller with equal importance to two characters. The story of the film is about a father and son reportedly and Mohanlal is approached to play the father character of Junior NTR, who is one of the biggest super stars in Telugu. Mohanlal is not yet finalized the projects and the talks is been going on. They wants a popular as well as powerful actor to play that role and Mohanlal suits to that condition better than anyone from South India. There are also reports that Mohanlal had shown interest to the project as well.
He is been agreed to do another Telugu film as well directed by Chandrashekhar Yeleti, who is a national award winner. Gauthami will play the female lead opposite Mohanlal and also couple of young faces will do the other key roles as well. As per reports Mohanlal will join the sets of Yeleti film in December and after wrapping up the Chandrashekhar Yeleti project he may join the Junior NTR starrer flick if everything goes well. Mohanlal had done a cameo appearance in Suresh Vamsi’s Telugu film years back as well.
Last year he did a Kannada film named Mythri as well which released this year and got great success as well in Sandalwood. His character has got great critical appreciation as well.
Gautham Vasudev Menon to make Mollywood debut through Jacobinte Swargarajyam !
Popular South Indian director Gautham Vasudev Menon to make his Mollywood debut next year. But what surprising in this news is that he is not making his debut as a director here. But he is making his debut as an actor here in Mollywood and that too with a director who is a hit maker in all sense. It’s through the Vineeth Sreenivasan film that Gautham Vasudev Menon entering to Malayalam cinema. Vineeth Sreenivasan is directing a film named Jacobinte Swargarajyam which is also written by him.
As usual Young star Nivin Pauly is playing the lead role in this film and reports suggesting that the title character is playing by Renji Panicker. Vineeth Sreenivasan himself announced the title and star cast of the film through his official Facebook page. In that post he said that the film’s title is Jacobinte Swargarajyam which will be financed by Noble Babu Thomas. The cast list of the film include Sreenath bhasi, Sai kumar, Lakshmi Ramakrishnan, T G Ravi, Dinesh Prabhakar etc along with the above mentioned trio of Nivin Pauly, Renji Panicker and Gautham Vasudev Menon.
Gautham Menon had earlier planned to make films in Malayalam with Mohanlal at first and then with Dileep. But the desire was not materialized into the product. Mohanlal film is still one of his dream as he is a great admirer of that man. But he is now planning a Tamil film with Fahad Fazil and also a Malayalam film with Nivin Pauly in the lead. But all these are only in pipeline and not confirmed ones. He is busy with his Tamil project with Simbu and only after its release he will start another one. His last release named Yennai Arinthal with Thala Ajith in lead was a success in Kollywood.
This Vineeth Sreenivasan film will come to the theaters in 2016 summer as per the director’s official Facebook Post. Vineeth had directed 3 films so far and out of which 2 of them were successes. Both those success had Nivin Pauly in the lead role and the first one was the debut of Nivin as an actor and Vineeth as a director.
Amar Akbar Anthony Collection Report – 12 days
Prithviraj- Jayasurya- Indrajith starrer flick Amar Akbar Antony is having a fantabulous run at box office and as per the latest analysis from trade pundits, the film had grossed more than 15 crore rupees from just 12 days. According to trade guides, this is phenomenal in all sense and it is going smoothly in working days as well with only minimal drop in collection which is a usual think. The flick has been getting positive vibe from all the corners and the plus point of the film is that it is a complete family entertainer with lots of fun. So family audience is preferring this now above all other films running in Kerala.

As per the latest analysis the film had got already a share of 7 crore rupees and within no time it will cross 10 crore share and 20 crore gross from box office. This is Prithviraj’s second consecutive blockbuster as his Ennu Ninte Moideen is already running with more than 30 crore collection from Kerala as per news. Nivin Pauly also had 2 consecutive 20 crore films this year with Oru Vadakkan Selfie and Premam.
Now it’s Prithviraj’s turn to repeat the same in the same year itself. With this success now Malayalam cinema had almost four, 20 crore plus films in box office this year assuming that Amar Akbar Anthony will surely cross the 20 crore mark within days. The another major factor which boosting its box office collection is that there is not much releases coming till deewali and it can run without any block holding its full screen till deewali.
Aamir Khan to make Mahabharatha to outshine Baahubali !
Baahubali had come and conquered the hearts of film lovers in India and become the 3rd highest grosser in Indian Cinema below Aamir Khan’s PK and Salman Khan’s Bhajrangi Bhaijan. In its budget and the setting Baahubali is the biggest Indian film ever and people watched it with sheer amazement and hailed it as the best Indian film that made on an epic level. The second part of the film has already started its filming and will come to screen in next year December.

The film will have VFX which we never saw before and will done with the help of Hollywood technicians as well. The report also says that Mel Gibson is planning to cast many popular actors from Indian film industry along with Aamir Khan in the project. As per news the film will start shooting in 2017 after the release of his film Dangal, which he currently doing. Aamir khan plays a wrestler in Dangal.
As news says its budget will be far greater than Baahubali and will have the biggest release Indian Cinema ever witnessed. SS Rajamouli also expressed his wish to make Mahabharatha some time ago and there was rumor came as well that he is preparing for a 1000 crore project based on Mahabharatha.
Sai Pallavi not to act in Mohanlal-Major Ravi film
At last this rumor also ended as it is expected. For last few weeks the rumor that is doing its round in Mollywood circles and specially in social media platforms is that Premam fame actress Sai Pallavi is going to be the female lead of Mohanlal-Major Ravi project which is coming next year. There was lots of rumor about her second film after the success of Premam. Her participation in Asif Ali starrer film IDI, Nivin Pauly starrer film Action Hero Biju etc are the main rumors that came before one which has Mohanlal feature in it. Now is has been confirmed the by the director Major Ravi himself that Sai Pallavi is not in his upcoming film with Mohanlal and he not even approached her to a character in his film.
The Mohanlal-Major Ravi project is based on the 1971 war between India and Pakistan and Mohanlal is said to be playing double role in this film. He is playing father and Son in this film and will have 3 get ups as well. The popular army character of him name Major Mahadevan is coming back through this as well and it will be the 4th time this character is coming back to silver screen.
Sai Pallavi is reportedly doing the female lead in upcoming Dulquer Salmaan-Sameer Thahir project and the production team is confirmed the news to Onlookers Media as well. It will be the second production venture of handmade films after Chandrettan Evideya as well. Sameer thahir had done his first film also with Dulquer Salmaan named Neelakasham Pacha Kadal Chuvanna Bhoomi.

Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay in trouble again
It seems that Kollywood super star Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay is going through a worse period of his life. Problems one after another comes to his personal and professional life and the star have focus hard on his job now a days as lots of troubles gives him sleepless nights. All troubles of Vijay had started just before the release of his previous film named Puli which was indeed his biggest film till date.
Just a day before the release of a milestone film in his career his house and office were got raided by Incom Tax Officials and at one moment it seemed that the release of the film will also be in trouble. Even though the film had to cancel all the fans shows, special morning shows due to the financial trouble happened because of the raid, it had released on the expected date itself.
But the film had received poor response from the people and critics and the negative reviews spread like wild fire. Even though the film has collected more than 75 crores from its first two weeks the high budget around 120 crores made it difficult to make any profit. Now as per reports the star is in trouble again as the film Puli had made a huge loss to the distributors of Tamil Nadu, they met Vijay asking compensation for their loss. Reports says that the flick had made a whopping 7.5 crores of rupees loss for Tamilnadu distributors alone. The news says that Vijay had told them to compensate the loss when his next film directed by Atlee releases next year January. He is now filming Atlee film in which he plays a police officer and have great hopes on it.
Vijay had earlier faced this same problem in the release time of his film Sura. That film was a disaster at box office and distributors made a huge cry against Vijay to settle their loss. This was frequent now in Tamil Nadu as even Rajni Kanth had to face it when his films like Baba, Linga etc failed at box office. So, the bad time of Vijay continues.
