Jeethu Joseph to do a Tamil film with Dhanush in the lead ?

Jeethu Joseph Dhanush Movie-Tamil Movie News 2015ich was the greatest hit of all-time in Mollywood starring Mohanlal. In the Tamil remake titled Papanasham he had Kamal Haasan in the lead . The flick was a huge hit in Tamil as well. That made Jeethu Joseph a star in Kollywood as well and reports are coming in that he had got some great offers from some big stars of Kollywood to direct some projects.

If reports are to be believed then Jeethu Joseph’s next tamil project will be with Young Kollywood star Dhanush. Dhanush is considered as the best actor among the younger generation of Kollywood and he also told in some interviews that he wants to act in a Jeethu Joseph film.

Jeethu Joseph is reportedly writing a script for Dhanush and as soon as it is completed he will talk to Dhanush about the project. Reportedly the scripting is in the final stages and after that they will decide upon the project. Jeethu Joseph has many projects in Malayalam as well to come in the near future which he had committed long time before. Jeethu himself told in a recent interview that his future Malayalam projects will be with Prithviraj, then with Kavya Madhavan which will be a female oriented flick and then the one which everyone awaits with great patience and expectation has Mohanlal in the lead. The reuniting of the Drishyam team is undoubtedly the most awaited of Jeethu Joseph ’s upcoming projects.

There is also some talks going around in the industry that Jeethu Joseph may do a surprise Mammootty project as well but till now it is a rumour. Kamal Haasan who is really impressed with Jeethu after he worked with him in Papanasham is also said to be getting ready to do another film with him. Meanwhile Jeethu is now waiting for the release of his Dileep starrer on this September 18th titled as Life of Josootty which also marks the entry of global biggie Eros International in Mollywood. They are financing and distributing this flick in their banner. We are all waiting for a ‘Jeethu Magic’ again onscreen.

Promised beauty undone: Complaint against Mammootty

Actor Mamootty is about to face a trail in the consumer court. Mammootty was seen in an advertisement of Indulekha white soap very recently. The beautiful charming actor conveying the message that “to enhance beauty, use Indhulekha white soap or beauty will come for you at your door steps”. Unfortunately this time things weren’t as beautiful as expected. A consumer named K Chathu from Wayanad has filed a case against Mammootty and the company for being fraudulent on the advertisement.

As an actor Mammootty has appeared in a lot of advertisements recently and if every consumer comes up with a complaints like this, things will get more and more messy for the actor and even the advertisment sector. Even-though these kind of issues cannot be considered as a serious issue as for in the eyes of law advertisements can only be considered as a glorified ideas and no credibility may stand in the path of these cases.Anyway the court has ordered Mamootty to be present at the court for the hearing. Chaathu has asked for Rs 50000 as compensation and more for cheating (may be other expenses, epic!).

But yet these kind of issues and cases is enough matter for a discourse even if its funny. Because in a way or the another it is the corp orates who decides on a common man to use and buy what and not.As globalization finds its way so does corp orates, says the economists.In the case of the person who complained against the soap and the actor is not anything to be justifiable, because as for his logic he could complaint and file cases against a thousand more companies of the market for lying and cheating. The point that he forgot or he and almost all of the consumers including us ignore is that advertisements are nothing, but glorified LIES!

Onam Releases 2015- An Overview

Mollywood had high hopes in this year’s Onam releases as almost every big stars had a release this season and that too with master directors and writers. There was five releases in this Onam season and stars like Mohanlal, Mammootty, Prithviraj, Indrajith, Kunchacko Boban, Vineeth Sreenivasan were there for the Onam race this year along with writers and directors like Ranjith, Kamal, P S Rafeeq, Lijo Jose Pellissery and newcomer Basil Joseph.

But have to say that none of these five releases has satisfied the audience fully and each and every one of the films failed to raise up to the expectation levels of the audience and failed to stand up to the level of hype they created before the release. But there was onam winner or may be winners as well as if we find the best of the lot. They are Loham by Ranjith- Mohanlal team and Kunjiramayanam by Basil Joseph-Vineeth Sreenivasan team.

When we consider about the Ultimate Onam winner there wasn’t something like that to be called an Onam winner so if we prefer the best from these five releases it will be Loham which was best out of these Five releases this Onam. It was Loham which was released first to celebrate Onam and by making the excellent first half of the movie including the best interval scene made in the recent times the movie was exceptional. Even though the movie had a excellent first half its doubtful that the movie could not retain the mood in the second half.So let’s check what had happened with each film in order of its position at Box office.

Loham

Loham is clearly the Onam winner of this season with a record breaking collection at box office despite the mixed opinion it had got. It had earned more than 1.50 crore profit from theaters alone from its 12 days of run so far and still continues to run with steady collection as well. The Mohanlal magic is the reason behind its super success at box office and nothing else.

Kunjiramayanam

Kunjiramayanam directed by debutant Basil Joseph starring Vineeth Sreenivasan was the underdog among the releases of this Onam season but in opinion it came first among the lot and in box office performance it has come below Loham in this season and become the second and last Onam winner of the season.

Utopiayile Rajavu

The film came with a lot of expectation starring Mammootty and directed by Kamal in the script of Amen fame P S Rafeeq. But could not raise up to the level of expectation and generated average reviews. In box office collections as well it did not make any impact and ended up on the losing side this season.

Jamna Pyaari

Directed by Thomas Sebastian and starred by Kunchacko Boban. Jamna Pyaari came without much promotion as well as expectations and it went like that way as well. Even though it had a good start at box office it failed to sustain it.

Double Barrel

Double Barrel is the disaster of this season. Directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery and that too with a great star cast of Prithviraj, Indrajith, Arya, Sunny Wayne, Asif Ali etc it generated the highest hype any other Mollywood film generated recently. But the big budget gangster comedy ended up as a film that tested the patience of the viewers and ended up as one of the biggest failure at box office in recent times.

So overall this year’s Onam releases were not that good and from next week there are some releases on the way which could make the audience entertained and enjoy the month of September at the theatres. Some of them are Kohinoor, Life of Josootty and so on. Hope this month gives Malayalam Cinema and the movie lovers something exciting to experience and the fatigue which was experienced by Mollywood during the Onam season could be ignored.

Sidharth Bharathan critically injured in an accident

The shocking news which came in today morning which shocked the Mollywood film lovers is the accident report of actor/director Sidharth Bharathan. Sidharth Bharathan who is the son of actress KPAC Lalitha and director Late Bharathan was critically injured in a car accident today very early in the morning. It was around 2.30 PM in the morning that the accident occurred in which he was severely injured.

The accident had took place at Chambakkara near Kochi, where his car collided with a street wall. The car has to be break into pieces to get him out of the car. Sidharth bharathan has hospitalized soon in the nearby Medical trust hospital. As per sources from the hospital he had an internal bleeding in his brain and the next 24 hours is very important for him. Now he is in the intensive care unit under great observation.

Sidharth Bharathan had acted many films such as Nammal (which was his debut film as an actor directed by Kamal), Rasikan, Kakkakarumban, Youth Festival, Ennittum, Spirit, Rebbecca Uthuppu Kizhakkemala, Olipporu, Nidra etc and he also directed two movies named Nidra and Chandrettan Evideya. Chandrettan Evideya was released this year and become a super hit with popular actor Dileep in the lead.

As per sources from the industry he was planning another flick with Dileep in which Dileep all set to play multiple roles. His first directorial venture Nidra was the remake if the 1981 film with the same name which was actually directed by his father Bharathan. Sidharth had also worked as a scenarist in the anthology film 5 sundarikal. He had worked in the segment named Isha in that anthology of five films directed by 5 different directors.

Now this news had really shocked each and every one in mollywood and many celebrities had already rushed to the hospital to check his condition. His mother KPAC Lalitha is the most experienced and popular actress in Mollywood and probably the best ever natural actress India had ever seen. We hope that he will come out from the critical condition very soon and let’s pray for his speedy recovery.

Kunchacko Boban had said this when he came to the audion launching function of the film named Kohinoor which is the first ever production venture of Asif ali under the banner of Adam’s world of imagaination. Kunchacko Boban had made a comeback to mollywood after gap through the film named Traffic by Rajesh Pillai. That was a success and Asif Ali also was a part of that film.

Then Kunchacko Boban really strike gold with a blockbuster success named Ordinary directed by the debutant Sugeeth and through that film the combination of Kunchacko Boban and Biju Menon got a hit pair status as well. But Asif Als was also present in that film as a villain character and got appreciation as well. Kunchacko Boban says that directly or indirectly they had made a bond between them and become a luck for each other in the industry. They also acted together in film like Sevens as well by Joshiey which was also got recognition in box office.

Now Kunchacko boban says that he want to continue this friendship and onscreen success stream with Asif Ali in the future as well. Asif Ali’s Kohinoor is now ready to hit the silver screens across Kerala on the 24th of September and the trailer and songs of the film had already generated great anticipation for the movie as well. Asif Ali too may be thinks that Kunchacko Boban is his lucky charm as well and may be because of that he had called Kunchacko Boban as one of the main guests in the audio launching ceremony of the film.

The fire brand script writer of Mollywood Renji Panicker is one among a few who had given great hit dialogues and characters in Mollywood through his screenplays. Renji Panicker had wrote for al super stars of Mollywood including Mohanlal, Mammootty and Suresh Gopi in his long career as a writer. The mass action films written by Renji Panicker always has long dialogues and great heroic acts which make the audience thrilled. He had great association which film makers like Shaji Kailas and Joshiey who likes to make these kinds of films as well.

But when comes to his association with Super stars of Mollywood he had written 8 screenplays for Suresh Gopi and four screenplays for Mammootty. But he written only one screenplay for Mohanlal who is undoubtedly the biggest crowd puller in Mollywood or the best mass hero mollywood had ever seen here. It was Praja directed by Joshiey that in which Renji Panicker had wrote the screenplay for Mohanlal.

Renji Panicker says what is the reason behind that actually. According to him Renjith’s writing style is perfect for Mohanlal and his writing style is perfect for Mammootty and Suresh Gopi. Renji says that when he gives dialogues which may have 4-5 pages length and narrates that dialogues to Mohanlal, he says that not narrate that dialogue in Renji’s meter which is causing confusion to him. He has a different rhythm of saying dialogue. It is not Mohanlal’s fault but it is with every actor. But some has the same rhythm as of Renji panicker and that are Mammootty and Suresh Gopi. Mohanlal’s rhythm is more connected with Renjith’s style of writing.

But Renji admits that Mohanlal had done a terrific job in Praja while he was uttering the dialogues which is almost 4-5 pages length. He also says that it is not the performance that was the issue but it is the sync between a writer’s meter and an actor’s meter. Mohanlal had that great sync with Renjith and it is evident in their films starting from their earlier films to films like Aaram Thamburan, Narasimham and then now in Loham as well.

Kunchacko Boban is now a days more cautious about the films which he select to act as he wants to do more and more different roles than just roles which comes in his safe zone of romance or romantic comedy. Director Vinay Govind’s second directorial venture named Kohinoor is all set to release on this 24th September and has already given great hope to the audience with its beautiful song and great trailer. Louis want to live a life like those characters he saw in the silver screen. For his company in everything he does, he has a friend as well named Aandi Kunju played by Aju Varghese. Along with him characters named Freddy and Nicholas from Kochi played by Vinay Fort and Chemban Vinod too comes into the life of Louis and Aandi Kunju and there the film takes its turn.

Everyone together forms a great plan and from them the film goes through a series of funny as well as thrilling events. The young star cast is the highlight of the film and Vinay Govind is a director who can control things on his own as well. Asif Ali is financing this film and he told that the trust he had on the subject and the director had prompted him to finance it. Artists like Bhavana, Sudheer Karamana, Tamil director Thyagarajan, Mamukkoya are also playing key roles in this fun thriller. This will be a complete entertainer which is specially made focusing youngsters.
