The young star Dulquer Salmaan is all set for some grand months ahead of him as he has a lot of promising projects lined up for him. We know many projects which is waiting for him and the latest one in that list will be of Rajeev Ravi directorial. Yes, the news is correct. Dulquer Salmaan will play the lead character in Rajeev Ravi’s next directorial venture which is his 3rd film as a director.

His first one was Fahad and Andrea starrer Annayum Rasoolum and second one was Fahad’s brother Farhan Fazil’s debut film named Njan Steve Lopez through which Ahana Krishna Kumar, daughter of actor Krishna Kumar also made her debut in Mollywood. Even though both films did not create much movements in the box office registers of Mollywood, both got good appreciation from critics as well as film lovers who love to watch realistic films.

Dulquer Salmaan is currently busy with his film Charlie directed by Martin Prakkat which may release in October or November. As per sources close to him says that he will join the Rajeev Ravi film right after wrapping up Charlie. After the Rajeev Ravi film he will join the sets of the much awaited Sameer Thahir directorial one which is yet to be titled. The screenplay of Rajeev Ravi-Dulquer Salmaan film is written by P Balachandran and actors such as Vinay Fort, Vinayakan, Shine Tom Chacko will play important characters in the film along with hero Dulquer Salmaan. he film will be financed by Global United Media which is very popular in Mollywood by distributing magnum opus films like Shankar- Vikram team’s Ai and Rajamouli’s film Baahubali recently. They have also financed the upcoming much anticipated film named Lord Livingston 7000 Kandi conceived by award winning and super hit director Anil Radhakrishna Menon and starred by Kunchacko Boban, Bharath, Sunny Wayne, Chemban Vinod, Nedumudy Venu, Gregory Jacob and Reenu Mathews etc.

The Rajeev Ravi-Dulquer Salmaan film will have its shoot at the locations in Kerala and Mumbai and will hit the screens by next year as of now. Dulquer’s previous release in Mollywood was 100 Days of Love which failed at box office.

Mammootty’s Megastar 393 movie updates

Mammootty, the Megastar of Mollywood’s upcoming flick Megastar 393 is on its pre-production stage. The movie name is still not officially confirmed but sources says that the team has planned the name but it’s not officially announced till now. This untitled project Megastar 393 is based on a police investigation story as we have reported earlier. The movie will be directed by Akhil Paul along with Anas Khan. Akhil Paul debuted as a scriptwriter with the movie 7th Day starred Prithviraj directed by Syamdhar. Like the previous director duos Lal- Siddique, Rafi- Mecartin, Akhil Paul- Anas Khan will be also a much expected director duo. Since the movie is on its progress in utmost secrecy not much details are revealed about the movie.

The movie is creating high expectation for all the movie lovers that Mammootty will be seen in a new getup for this movie. Mammookka’s new release Pathemari will be released by next week after his Onam release Utopyayile Rajavu which did not create much movements in the Box Office. Megastar 393 is Mammootty’s 393rd movie in his acting career.

As per reports the movie will start its shoot by January and it is expected to be released on the eve of Vishu. The Screenplay and Script is written by Akhil Paul and Anas Khan. Mammootty is said to be playing the role of an investigation officer in the movie. Mammookka has earlier acted in many investigational based movie like the CBI series, The King, The Truth, Rakshasarajavu, August 1 and so on. So the expectations are really high that this untitled project Megastar 393 will have Mammookka’s exceptional performance as an investigation officer.

Mammootty’s next release Pathemari is directed by Salim Ahamed. Now he is busy with the shoots of AK Sajan project named Puthiya Niyamam along with Nayanthara. The movie is dealing with a social issue and is considered to be a thriller as per reports. The movie was first titled as Solomante Koodaram and was later changed as Puthiya Niyamam. Mammootty is playing the role of Louis Pothen and Nayanthara is playing the role of Louis’s wife Vasuki. After this Mammootty’s will start his next flick White directed by Uday Ananthan. This movie will have a romantic touch to it and in the female lead we have Trisha Krishnan pairing up with Mammootty. The movie is said to be produced by Eros International and is on its pre-production stage.

So it’s all the way thrillers for Mammookka, when Akhil Paul, Anas Khan join hands with Mammootty for their Megastar 393 it will surely have something special in it. After the release of 7th Day there were news regarding Akhil Paul coming up with a new project during that time and now the reports are confirming that its Mammootty who has given that golden chance for Akhil Paul and Anas Khan to test their luck on direction.

The star casts include Kollywood actor Prabhu, Kamalini Mukherjee, Bala, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Vinu Mohan and the stunts will be choreographed by Peter Hein, who is considered to be the best in the field. It is also revealed that the stunt sequence in the movie will be the best one that the protagonist and the antagonist will come face to face which means Mohanlal and Leopard will have that amazing fight sequence in the movie. The producer of the movie is Tomichan Mulakupadam under the banner Mulakupadam Films. Shaji and Gopi Sunder will handle the DOP and Music Direction respectively. The movie shoot is presently going at the Pooyamkutty forests near Kothamangalam and the movie is expected to be released on the eve of Christmas.

The movie Loham which was released during the Onam occasion got great response from the viewers on its first day that the Team of Kanal and Pulimurugan are also expecting a massive hit when the movies get released. Loham broke the first day record collection at Box Office that even if the movie was rated above average it got good reception and out of the 5 movies released during Onam, Loham succeeded to be the best out of the lot.

Loham completes 7000 shows and grosses around 12 crore from 22 days

Mohanlal’s Onam release Loham written and conceived by the master writer/director of Mollywood Renjith had got its dream start at box office as it has grossed almost 12 crore from Kerala alone from its 22 days of run here. The total worldwide collection is not available officially but from certain sources we can say that it has got close to 14 crore.

The film had also completed 7000 shows as well in 20 days and is clearly on top of every Onam releases. Only Loham, Kunjiramayanam and to an extent Jamna Pyaari was able to withstand in the box office race among Onam releases. Sadly, both Uttopyayile Rajavu as well as Double Barrel bombed at the box office.

Loham had already become a super hit from its theater collection alone as it had got a Kerala share of above 5 crore as well. From the theater advance it had got 3.7 crore before its release. And now it has got a profit of near 2 crore rupees from Kerala. With its huge worldwide collection and a surety of getting close to 9000 shows it will surely be regarded as a super hit of this year and clearly the Onam winner of this year as well.

If the news coming in is correct, now it’s the turn of Bharathchandran IPS to return to the screen after a long time. The fans of action super star Suresh Gopi is all set to bring back the most celebrated character of the actor named Bharathchandran IPS from the film Commissioner which was released in the year of 1994. Suresh Gopi fans are doing their best to make the film release again in Kerala as they are inspired from Mohanlal and Mammootty fans who re-released their star’s mass action films such as Narasimham and Big B.

Mohanlal fans started the trend in Kerala by re-releasing the film Narasimham which actually hit the screens in the year 2000. It was the first Malayalam film to cross 20 crore in box office and also the industry hit of that time. So Mohanlal fans re-released the film first in Dubai as a celebration of that film’s 15 years. In Dubai too that was first of its kind in history.

Then the film re-released in many centers across Kerala and got fabulous reception even after 15 years. All the shows they planned became houseful and they had donated that money to various charity activities as well. Even now various fans units of Mohanlal from Kerala wants the film to be re-released in their place. Director Bhadran wants his blockbuster hit Spadikam starred Mohanlal to be re-released in digital form as well and is reportedly making the moves. If that happens it will be a celebration all over Kerala for sure. Not only for fans of Mohanlal but for the film lovers as well.

Mammootty fans had recently re-released the 2007 film Big B of Mammootty this year on September 6 as a birthday celebration of their star and it was well received by the fans of Mammootty and the movie buffs. They planned a release of 11-12 theaters for the film and that seemed great for the film getting good response from fans.

Now Suresh Gopi with his most celebrated character ever is all set to strike with a re-release planned by his fans. Hope that it will happen soon as we can’t wait too long to see the firebrand Bharathchandran on screen again.

Now we can say once again that we are so proud to be a Mohanlal fan as we did in the past and in the future too. The reason behind that is awesome. If you search in google about the top actors or the greatest actors in this world according to the ratings on the IMDB or Internet Movie Database where millions of people daily visits and rates movies and the performances of actors, you can get a list of world’s 51 greatest actors of all time. And in that list our Mohanlal found the 7th spot and he is the only Indian actor in the top 10.

Everyone know that it is a user created list in IMDB. But the the fact is that even if we search in google we get this list at the top and that means the importance and recognition this list has got. Because what comes at the top while searching google for something is the most rated in the case of the searched term. On that ground we can surely say that this IMDB list was the most rated and by that criteria Mohanlal’s inclusion in that list should be recognized and appreciated as well.
